Once we walked in the staff was friendly with ordering ! Cute little spot with smells alone that'll make you wanting a plate! We ordered a stew chicken and ox tail plate and an oxtail only plate. Everything was worth the money . Portion size was great. The flavors were amazing with a little kick but not too much, the sides were great and the meat was tender. It all felt it was genuine and made with love! This will be my go to spot!

I'm so glad there's a Jamaican spot near Bridgeland now, driving across the city for some oxtails was always a pain. Jamaica Paradise Kitchen is located next to a gas station, the restaurant is clean, and the service was nice and quick. My favorite part about this place is their enormous portions, yes the price is a little higher, but the amount of food they give you makes up for it. We ordered the oxtail plate, curry goat plate, and jerk beef ribs. They all came with rice and beans, steamed cabbage, and plantains. The oxtails were phenomal, super tender, and season very well. The goat curry was also very good, fatty yet not overwhelmingly heavy. The jerk ribs were huge! It was probably the size of a 9 year old's forearm. The flavor good however I didn't really get the jerk seasoning taste, it was more like Texas bbq ribs to me. Overall I will be back, this place is a solid choice!

Oxtails that fall off the bone! Plantains made to perfection, golden and sweet. Cabbage seasoned so well you wish you could walk to the kitchen and steal the recipe! I am so impressed! I highly recommend 10/10!

Man!! Delicious is all I can say! I ordered it through uber eats but it was still nice and hot. Got the stew chicken and beef patty. First things first, for $14 it is ALOT of food! The flavor was out of this world! Stew chicken was delicious, nice, flavorful, and tender! The rice and peas were good but it was smothered in the chicken gravy so it gets points for that. The coleslaw was insanely good! I may not be familiar with Jamaican coleslaw because this seemed like cabbage and carrots but it was amazing. The beef patty was really good also with a nice spice! Some of the best Jamaican food I've had!

Yup, definitely will be going back. You see the pic!!! I ordered the jerk shrimp on UE. Great flavor and good portions. I can't wait to go back and try the curry. I wish they had Roti, that's the only negative. Seasoned and cooked well.

I was craving Jamaican food and decided to venture out to Jamaican Paradise Kitchen. The restaurant is a hidden gem located in the suburbs of Cypress, TX, off of Mueschke rd. The meal comes with six pieces of tender chicken and the entire meal can easily feed 2 people for under $15. I would definitely rate the food a 10/10. The dipping sauce for the chicken is an excellent balance of vinegar and heat. The plantains were grilled and you can taste the natural sweetness, which pairs well with a bite of the coconut flavored rice. In addition, make sure you order a beef patty to go with your meal. The flaky crust along with the spicy, savory taste of the beef filling is a winning combination. They have a couple of small tables, but I think the majority of orders are for pickup and to-go. The service is top notch, I placed my order at the counter and received my food in under 5 minutes. I was shocked to find a quality Jamaican restaurant in Cypress, TX. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will the flavors of the food.

Based on the reviews I really wanted some good jerk chicken. The customer service was ok. I got the jerk chicken and oxtail combo. It was ok. The chicken was dry, not enough spice or flavor and not very tender. The oxtails were a little tough and not enough flavor. It felt like they hold back on the seasoning for everything. The plantains were really good. The prices are a little expensive. I have had better jerk chicken. I don't think I would come back.

Amazing customer service! The food was sensational and came out quick. The restaurant was also packed which is always a good sign!

Food is good. Not the best but good nonetheless. Glad to have a Jamaican spot in the area.

The food was amazing but the waiter was more interested in her phone than helping us even after asking for something which we never got.

Who serves broccoli and cauliflower instead of cabbage with oxtail and Jerk chicken? Very disappointed.

The pernil plate was outstanding -- the pork was perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, and had that amazing crispy edge that makes pernil so special. The portion was generous and paired perfectly with the sides. We also tried the tripletas, and they were fantastic. Packed with flavor, juicy meats, and perfectly balanced with the bread and toppings. Easily one of the best tripletas we've had. The yucas were cooked perfectly -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and great for dipping. They were a perfect side to the sandwiches. For the kids, we ordered the chicken strips from the kids menu, and even those were great. Crispy, well seasoned, and the kids loved them. Overall, the food, flavor, and portions were excellent. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean comfort food, El Caribeño is definitely worth visiting. We'll absolutely be coming back!

Normally you order at the front desk, but they helped us in our table since we were a group of 10. It's a small place with about 4 tables and only one restroom. The girl that helped us was attentive. One complaint is that they have Pepsi and not Coke but that's a personal preference. Food is ok, someone ordered Queso Frito, for my taste was too salty. But the Tostones with pork meat were really good. I got mofongo with camarones, the shrimp were good size, the mofongo was too dry but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that, I noticed they serve the mofongo not in the traditional way, which is like in a cup shape the protein in the middle, here they serve the mofongo in the shape of a small cake and the protein on the side. The arroz con gandujes was good and the pork was good. I feel they have potential. The restroom situation (only one) is not ideal though.

Authentic Dominican/Caribbean food in Willowbrook. Who knew?…read more I remember this place from a birthday party decades ago. The space was a bit bigger (they've since redesigned it smaller), but the crowds were smaller. Success hasn't tarnished their food. It was a very rainy and soggy afternoons and the place was packed. We managed a table and ordered. Can't go wrong with the delicious shrimp mofongo. I honestly think the sauce is the icing on that cake, made all the more delicious with a squeeze of lemon. Whew! Service was fast and dinner came out at a reasonable pace. The owner is so friendly and stopped by our table to make sure things were good. Better than good! If you're in the Willowbrook area do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner. Prices are a little steep, but what's isn't these days?

I ordered the pollo guisado and moro, both were good and we have a little left over. My partner ordered the pica pollo and the fried chicken was decent. The juice was on the sweet side so just watered it down (wish they have smoothies), but they get 5 stars overall for the flavor and the price point. Plenty of parking as it's in located along other stores.
