The trio can play flute, fiddle, keyboard, various Celtic-style hand drums, tambourines, and more! * The group asked me what type of musical experience I wanted for the event. We agreed that most of the evening would be traditional background-style music, with a few planned songs that would engage more with the guests. Part of the package that we booked with the Celtic Company were 2 Irish step dancers. The Celtic Company coordinated all of those arrangements (how many dancers, how many dance sequences, etc.) and just let me know the additional cost. The 2 dancers who performed were also amazing - dressed in matching, themed outfits, excellent skills, and wonderful smiles. At the end of the event the dancers posed for photographs with our guests. * The group allowed us to use their microphones for announcements and speeches. The Celtic Trio provided a top tier performance and were just generally a wonderful group to work with. 10/10 would recommend!

Cobalt Strings performed at our company holiday party last week at the Atlanta History Center in…read moreBuckhead. They did a terrific job! The group consisted of a trio of ladies: Amber (violin), Sarah (viola), and Juli (cello). It wasn't until after the party that I learned this ensemble is actually a quartet. I guess they were down one member for our event, but it's not like I could tell. The group set up inside the museum's exhibition hall during the cocktail portion of our party. They later moved to the atrium when dinner was served. In total, I believe they played for four straight hours (6pm-10pm). I'm not a musician, but that seems like a long time. Kudos to them. During cocktail hour, I was immediately struck by and impressed with the quality of their music. They sounded really good and very professional. They received multiple compliments from various guests throughout the evening. After their performance, I learned the musicians have various day jobs. For example, Sarah assists in eye surgery and Juli, a fellow engineer from Georgia Tech, works in QA. Amber and Sarah met in college at Reinhardt. Talk about a talented group. Amber, Sarah, and Juli played mostly Christmas tunes for our party. Their music really set the mood for what turned out to be a classy, sophisticated, elegant, and fun evening at the museum. It wouldn't have been the same without them. Thanks, guys! I remember standing outside the chapel waiting for our procession...and chills ran through my body as I heard the intro to our special music. As soon as we walked into the chapel I heard the most beautiful, heavenly sound played by Amber and her team. Prior to the wedding, Amber, my husband and I discussed our music list for the wedding in great detail. She patiently listened as we described to her the ambiance that my husband and I were going for. Amber proved to be super knowledgeable and she gave us song ideas that we didn't even think about but fit perfectly with our themes --- a true sign of a professional! At the end of the wedding day, many of our friends and family told us how much they enjoyed Amber and her team's performance. You can't go wrong choosing Cobalt Strings... our guests were so impressed that they are actually booking Amber and her team for their upcoming events.
