After talking with ms Shakira she informed me that it would be fine for me to send payment on Wednesday morning and I can continue to bring my daughter so I can work. I get a call from the same teacher on Tuesday morning at 7:00am stating that I can't bring my daughter in until they receive payment ! This was horrible for many reasons 1) I got informed of this at 7:00am I work at 8:30 this daycare opens at 6:00am I talked with ms Shakira at 6:00pm that previous day, if I couldn't bring my daughter in she should of let me know when I had that conversation with her.instead she gave me reassurance that it was okay for me to pay on Wednesday. the way this was handled was completely unethical and caused me to miss a day of work. if i was informed of this the night before when i had the conversation it would of been totally fine I understand it's a business and it needs to operate in a way that works for them. It was frustrating to have things pulled out from under us so quickly, and it left me feeling like there's a real communication gap between corporate and the actual school directors when it comes to billing and scholarships. Most of the teachers that I know are kids-friendly, but one teacher has to care for so many infants and/or toddlers in each classroom, more than any one person could handle. When I asked the director about the ratio of staff per number of students, she was always so vague. I feel really sorry for the teacher, and for my child as well, every time I saw one teacher has to care for 10-11 kids, and almost all of them are sick with a bad cold. That's why the regular teacher was out sick for 1-2 days every 1-2 weeks too. Oftentimes, I would see a new teacher whenever the main teacher was out sick, and none of the new teachers even bother to introduce themselves to me. Sometimes, I even wondered if they could speak English because they didn't seem to understand me whenever I asked them questions about my child for the day. I often picked my child up with a heavy heart every day because she was always dirty all over, like a homeless child who was abandoned on the street. I paid them so much money every week for my child's attendance there, but the services that my child received not worth the high costs that they charged me. Several times, I heard the assistant director reprimanded the same teacher right in the middle of the hallway, which was so unprofessional. I must admit that I really had an issue with this daycare's assistant director. You can tell right away that she wears a fake face when talking to you and she is extremely bossy to the nice teachers there. One time, she even yelled at the director about something that they were arguing about. Personally, I don't see her poor professionalism would fit with her position. I know it's hard to find a perfect daycare, but there should be many better daycares out there for your child than this one. Just keep looking and switching (if needed) until you feel the services your child receives at any daycare is at least 70% worth the money that you pay them.

Since day one, it was nothing but a pleasure having our daughter there. Mrs. Nargis created a wonderful Montessori school, with a very familial feeling. From infancy to almost two years old, Mrs. Rima cared for our daughter almost as if she were her own. Our daughter looked forward to going to school every single day because of the fun comfort, education and love Mrs. Rima provided. I cannot recommend this school enough if you are looking for educated, trustworthy, warm and compassionate people to care for your child.

Director Ms. Nargis advised us not to worry, as kids can pick up English quickly -- indeed, she was right! By the end of the school year, both kids had learned to speak English decently well, could read simple books, and write simple sentences. My first child went on to Kindergarten and tested out of ESOL. We liked that students work on fundamentals like reading, writing, and math at a desk, but they also have independent play time to choose a hands-on activity around the classroom. They also clean up after themselves. AAIMS has a big outdoor playground for recess and they have weekly Playball time. AAIMS also offers ballet, karate, tennis, table tennis, and Spanish lessons for those who want to sign up, at a reasonable extra cost. AAIMS holds events to highlight the various cultural backgrounds of the students, which we really appreciated. But I must say that since there has been a change of Management things are improving quickly. I am happy to have my children there and will be staying. There is a management person there now each morning and evening, the routines have been streamlined and in general the center is much more organized.
