The Art is fun and I love wine! I adore that one redhead teacher, shes the best! I would recommend this place for a unique experience

I'm not a very good artist but I think this place makes me look good! LOL I came here for the first time a few months ago and LOVED it! It's almost like being in a classroom with 35 other people. Everyone has their own paint brushes, paint, easels, apron etc. which is all provided. The teacher/professional, aka artist of the night, sets up in the front of the room with a microphone and goes step by step on what colors to mix and what to paint on your canvas. Each session has its own unique picture to paint depending on the night you go. It is BYOB here and soooo much fun! You can bring snacks and wine and be merry! Such a great time for girls AND guys! I saw at least 5 guys at this particular session and they really enjoyed it! Ladies don't be shy to bring your guys here or just have a Girls Night! I'm sure everyone would have a blast! read more

What a fun outing! Went for a Yelp event, and had a ball. Instructor was very good, and showed us every step of the way what to do. I am by no means an artist, but I left with a masterpiece! Okay...maybe not quite that, but it looked pretty darn good. I sent a picture of my painting before it was complete to my husband, and he thought it was someone else's work! I've been to a concept similar to this and I have to say painting is one of the best stress relievers. Great place to blow off some steam and get those creative juices flowing. Pinot's Palette is tucked inside of a plaza in the Duluth/Johns Creek area. The business's signage is small so you might miss it, but it right next to Five Below. Quick tip: Make sure you go there to get some snacks before painting. Inside Pinot's you'll find multiple rows of seats with blank canvases on each side. Tables are quite small, so you'll get real buddy buddy with your creative neighbor. Not completely sold on the small tables. The downside to this is there isn't much space to place things such as snacks or drinks (best part of dip and dab). Luckily, there are little storage cubbies you can stick belongings in. The entire session lasts about 2 hours with small breaks in between to allow for paint to dry and classmates to catch up. Each class features a new piece of art. You won't be painting 30x Starry Nights if you come often. Check the schedule for features. My art was Halloween themed to go along with the season and the Yelp Elite event. I'm not an artist at any right. I can barely draw a complete circle, but somehow the instructors know to turn my pictographs into a Picasso. They are so patient and give positive reinforcement which is really helpful and keeps things fun. The last time I did a dip and dab I frustrated myself because I could paint within the boundaries, came close to walking out! I recommend this coming to Pinot's Palette for medium sized groups of maybe 6 max. Anymore, your group might get split up. I had so much fun at pinots palette, the instructor Rita was superb, she is very patient and friendly, also very cute. Raeha drew a beautiful portrait of a sunrise and it was beautiful. The studio was clean and the location easy to find. read more

GOOD CLEAN FUN! Although I have seen this store many times, I had no idea that it is really an art studio. Today I happen to arrive when the owner was present and was very warmly received. She explained the concept, ( An art studio where you can bring your own snacks and beverages and have a great time creating art). It is ideal for adults, (couples, girlfriends, families and others) and children, (parties, groups summer camp). If you and your friends are looking for something to do on the weekend or during the week, this is a good option. You can chill and have great conversation at the same time. They have their classes posted on their website so that you can easily obtain additional information and get registered. Now that we have more daylight hours, my husband and I are interested in finding some different activities and this sounds like a great idea. I would go every weekend if I could. This place is so much fun! its a great activity when you have friends from out of town or any special occasion. The teachers are always cool and can help even the least creative person create a really cool piece of art. Whenever I go I usually take a full cooler of drinks and snacks. They provide you with the wine glasses and napkins, ice to keep your drinks cool and a nice big counter top for everyone to spread out your goodies. It goes by quickly, but you have plenty of time to break, get up move around, pour another glass and check out your neighbor's work. Can't wait to go again! read more

Went to Pinot's for first time and was fantastic. I am not an artist, but my painting turned out very nice. My older child had a wonderful time also. Would go back for sure. Had so much fun - went with two friends and I was a first-timer. The instructor was very knowledgeable (bonafide artist with valuable fundamental knowledge!), not to mention supportive. Before I weren't I thought I would end up wasting my money but...nope. I was wrong and it was worth every penny. Oh and to have the company of your friends and your favorite beverage...it was so much fun. Call your friends and make a trip out there. Bring wine, cheese, crackers, pizza....whatever you want to snack on. It's a night well spent. read more

Alright, so I am definitely not an artist but being here at Pinot brought out the inner artist in me. There were about 40 of us in a class for about 2 hrs long.We ore aprons to protect our clothes. Blank easels were set up for our adventure in painting. Another interesting aspect to this was that there were snacks and drinks. The theme of Pinot is Eat. Drink. Paint. It seems it is very fitting. I could go on and on about what we did but the pictures really do it justice. They have different pictures and events you can join to paint particular images. This time it was a "Spooky, Halloween" theme. I must say I think I did pretty well for not being an artist! read more

Good luck using a Groupon. The web site to make a reservation is fickle, and the Groupon (very) fine print states that you cannot use the Groupon for a charity event, but the web site doesn't tell you which events are for charity. They let you make the Groupon reservation (finally), then send you an email that says you can't use it. Not very user friendly. read more
