I originally stopped by in search of pottery classes--and was delighted to find not only that they offer them, but also that a new session begins on October 13th. In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. As I walked through the space, I was able to watch artists at work and enjoy the current gallery exhibits on display. The atmosphere was inspiring and welcoming. Adult fall classes--running October 6th through December 13th--are also available, covering both visual and ceramic arts. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such a wonderful resource has been right in my neighborhood all along. It was a great experience, and I've already registered for pottery classes--something I'm really excited about! At issue was a song with lyrics that I felt were innapropriate for young children. We asked if they would change the music or refund our money. We were told that the parents liked the popular music and that toddlers couldn't understand the lyrics anyway. I disagree, but very well, I will take my refund and go away. They offered to not charge me for the second month, but refused to give back my money for the first month even though we only attended one class. If you care about the music that your toddlers listen to, please ask ahead of time before you commit to the payment. They do screen the popular music for bad lyrics, but they did not inform me during the free class that popular music was going to be played. The free class had children's music. I am sure my standards are going to be viewed as too strict, but I didn't like the lyrics to "I'm just a girl". I don't think it's healthy to tell little girls who are still forming their precious personalities that they are just girls, and that is all we will let them be. Even worse, I don't want my son growing up with that view of women. If you care about the music your child listens too, be sure to ask about the songs they will play before giving them your money.

I specially love that the pre school steps class they have it where there are group activities and also free play after every group activity. If your kid doesn't want to participate the teacher does not force the kids to participate, you are just free to do as you like. My toddler loves the group activities as well as the free play. I am extremely happy with my decision to join Gymboree. Oh yes and the parents there are soo nice too. I def recommend this location.

They gave a lot of time for the slower painters like me who are brand new to painting. It was an awesome group experience for my family and me. The only thing that I'm knocking one star off for is that I think it would have helped for them to tell people to bring their own glasses for wine when they emailed everyone saying to come early. And to wear old clothes that you won't get paint on. I think that those two sentences that can be emailed to everyone will go a long way. The painting I did was amazing too! It looks great and will be very sentimental to me in the future.

I do not consider myself to be a artist, even in the basic sense of the word. But, the paint strokes are explained, and they will help you if you need it.

YTLC scammed me out of $1000! I have had the worst…read moreexperience dealing with this company. I had to cancel the summer camp I had signed my child up for and paid for. When I tried to contact them to cancel the camp within their cancellation period, the phone only rang and did not go to a voice mail. After a couple more attempts I e-mailed them and finally received acknowledgement that they would cancel her camp and issue a refund. After months of trying to contact with them asking for an update on my refund, I was only given excuses and was constantly told that the person responsible for issuing the refund was always busy and could not talk at that time. This place is a scam and I would never trust the care of my child to them.

It began at 7pm and the class was 1 hour long. The building is a bit hidden from the main road but is off of Peachtree Industrial Blvd in Suwanee. Maggie was absolutely phenomenal. I had to speak to her on the phone because I had some trouble signing up for the class and she helped me so much and was so patient. She greeted us when we came in and made me feel so comfortable. The class had 4 people. There were 2 silks with mats set up in the center of the room. (Maggie mentioned that she recently ordered 2 more mats so she can have 2 more silks set up). The room was pretty big but because there were 4 of us, it was intimate and not as intimidating. Because it's a beginners class, there needs to be a lot of help from Maggie to show and spot, so I can imagine- the smaller the class the better ! We started off warming up with various stretches. I loved how quickly she moved from one stretch to another. It was a really good warm up. Haha. I broke a sweat from that alone. Then, we paired up on the mat and Maggie showed us one move/pose and we'd try. We were able to try a lot of different poses. Overall, it was a GREAT workout from head to toe. The arms, core, glutes, legs. I usually don't get sore until 2 days after working out but I'm already feeling it as I walked out of the class. Very good experience and workout!
