Nothing says Valentine's romance quite like competitive go-kart racing and the mutual agreement…read morethat love means not using your red shells... or in this case, not bumping each other into the barrier. Andretti's in Buford is basically a playground for adults disguised as a sleek entertainment complex. The space feels modern and high-energy, with neon lighting, polished concrete, glowing game zones, and that constant hum of excitement from the arcade floor and track. It's part adrenaline, part date night, and part "we are absolutely children and proud of it." We spent the evening bouncing between arcade games, fully embracing our competitive sides. The ticket machines kept spitting out proof of our triumphs, and after a heroic run of wins, we cashed in for the ultimate symbol of arcade victory: a lava lamp. Nothing strengthens a relationship like carrying a glowing tube of molten nostalgia to the car. The atmosphere is lively without feeling chaotic, making it easy to laugh, play, and celebrate small victories together. Staff were friendly, the games were in great shape, and the entire place runs with the efficiency of somewhere that understands people came to have fun, not stand around waiting. If you're looking for a Valentine's date that swaps candlelight for neon glow and roses for arcade tickets, Andretti's delivers. We left with a lava lamp, sore cheeks from laughing, and the comforting knowledge that our relationship can survive friendly competition.

Never have I seen so many people standing around, walking around, yet so little getting actually getting done. Our server finally came to our table after we've been waiting for 15 min. I ordered everything. Drinks didn't come out so I had to ask the host to order the drinks and he was nice enough to oblige. 30 min goes by. I haven't seen our server anywhere. Completely disappeared. There are tons of orders sitting there under a heat lamp. People looking like they're just waiting. For what? For the food to be ready? Well there it is! People keep coming and going into this employee entrance looking like they're busy doing something important but I wonder what. Finally our server appears to ask "how are we doing"? Huh? What about the food? She says she'll check on it. It was just sitting there under a heat lamp for god knows how long. Now all dried out. Advice to manage: get this place sorted out. Come up with efficient processes to get food out to people ASAP. Dedicated food runners who run our food as soon as it's ready. Something! Oh and the best employee there was the bartender. He was manning the bar AND busing people's tables, getting their checks. Props to him!

Which was sad because we were supposed to be there to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. He was excited to try this place out. We drove over an hour to be disappointed. First we walk in an hour after opening on a Sunday, place was empty.......we walk right up to the counter and I tell the girl that I had looked the pricing up online and I knew I wanted to do the 3 race, game card, and k1 membership pass for 3 boys. She gave me a blank stare and then said oh you mean 2 race. Ok. Rude. But ok yeah that. She proceeds to ask the boys had they ever been there before. 1 of my sons friends says yes. So she goes you need to go check him on the computer with a waiver first because he has a membership so you won't pay for that part for him. Here I am thinking oh she is being helpful after being wrong. I smile. We go to computers do the waiver for 1 boy as instructed. We go back to the counter now 2 more groups have come in. We have to wait behind 1 group now since there is only one cashier/check in person although there were at least 5 other staff in the building including a manager. Anyway after we wait for that group to check in. I step back to the counter and THEN she proceeds to tell me oh you didn't do the waiver for the other two. I'm like you told me to do it only for the one that had been here before. So again we step out of line and go BACK to the computers. At this time I'm starting to get annoyed. By this time more people are coming in, so now my boys will have to wait behind several big groups when we arrived before ALL of these people. When I finally get back to the counter.....all boys are checked in. She got RUDE again. And wanted to loudly explain pricing to me and make sure I knew that the boys only got a $10 game card for what I was about to pay. Like VERY loud. I didn't hear her do this with any of the other groups that checked in before us and I hate to say this.......none of them were my complexion. Never once was I rude or matching her volume or tone. We actually walked in that place happy because we were supposed to be celebrating. Well anyway it didn't stop there. Once we got checked no instructions were given on what to do next outside of the girl at the counter giving me my receipt and their game cards. So my boys walked over to where you line up to go on the track and yet another employee was RUDE to them by telling them to back away from the gate and wait for someone to call them. They are EXCITED to be here Jeesh, so then after she yells at them they come over to me saying they not going to let her ruin the joy. They finally get called to race and all the boys are overwhelmed after the employees stopped the cars several time or slowed their speed down all during the race. Then in between their first and second race we went to their "arcade" which only has 12 games......which none of them are less than 40 credits for 1 game. $10 gets you 200 in credits. While one of the boys was in the process of playing a game they got called back for their 2nd race. It was EVEN worse than the first one. We decided to opt out of trying their food and went somewhere else to grab lunch. 0 stars would not recommend.

What an adventure! My 8 year old son, wife, and I came to Treetop Quest Gwinnett on a sunny…read moreSaturday afternoon and had a blast for 2 and a half hours. Wife opted out of the adventure actually so she took some pictures and just hung out while my boy and I went through obstacles and zip line adventures. The courses are great for confidence building and father son bonding time and the courses are challenging enough to keep a child engaged and having a great experience throughout the time spent on the courses. Levels 1, 2, and 3 are age appropriate for kids (2 and 3 being 7+ year olds respectively). They start you off on a practice course which is good for beginners who are learning how to operate the buckles and getting onto the course and through the sometimes challenging swivel plates and points. My son had a bit of a hard time getting through some alone so going with a parent or older guardian is recommended as younger kids can get stuck and need some support. We began from level 2 as we couldn't find level 1 initially so it was fun and challenging right from the get go! Level 2 is a combination of obstacles and zip lining. Level 3 is appropriately labeled all fun and no work as it's a series of zip lines. Level 3 low was our favorite course while level 3 high was fun but had a portion towards the end that was a challenge as we had to unhook our connectors a few times to advance through the zip line. My son is on the smaller side so we had to get creative to disconnect. Also, on a few zip lines it says to stand up quickly which is important as it is possible to go backwards if you don't complete the zip line completely which poses a bit of a challenge as well. I had to go a few times after my son when he got stuck to get him to the other side by colliding into him and pushing him to the other side of the zip line. It all added to the adventure and excitement of the excellent courses. Treetop Quest Gwinnett is conveniently located in Buford so it was only a short 10 minutes drive from our home which was nice. We came before the crowds arrived which was early pm (12:30) which is when I recommend to come as crowds can cause wait times between each course. Overall, an excellent way to spend a few hours and to create memories with your kids and family. I plan to return with my older son as well as levels 4, and 5 are for 12+ year olds and is marked with challenging! We look forward to future visits and recommend Treetop Quest Gwinnett highly. 5 solid stars and two thumbs up! #AdventureIsOutThere!

STAFF MEMBER PEYTON REVIEW: This guy is a true gem. I suppose I misunderstood the structure of the place, thinking I could just book my seven year old and watch from the ground, and that like zip line places near Helen, there would be a guide for a group, going platform to platform. This place is fully independent, so she went on her own. She had trouble with the C clip, getting it from line to line, around trees. Peyton hopped up there when my ground instructions proved useless, but didn't just give her instructions. He TAUGHT her. He made her UNDERSTAND. He did so in a way that wasn't condescending, but led her to understand how it worked, strategies to employ, like an expert teacher. He relieved her frustration from the start, gave her confidence, and got her excited about being fully independent up in these trees. The next hour and a half was wonderful fun for both my daughter and for me, watching from the ground. And then she got stuck. She was on a zip line, well above the ground, and didn't make it to the platform. I tried to get her to go hand over fist to the platform, but she didn't have the upper body strength to get to the platform. Peyton sprang to action, without request, and went along the course to get to her. He pulled her to the platform and chatted with her for a long time. After she got down, instead of the frustration and tears I feared, she was beaming. "I made a new friend!" she declared, speaking of Peyton. She told me they talked about her school, how she has lots of friends, about our dog, and more. It was a great end to the day. But Peyton wasn't done. He radioed in to the "deck" so when she arrived to get her harness off, someone was there to give her some stickers. We talked about how much fun she had at Treetop Quest, how high she got, how she went on huge zip lines on her own, but she kept bringing up her new friend Peyton. He made her day and her experience. Thank you Peyton!

The managers like I mean I can throw you like $7 on an arcade card which was pretty insulting considering I paid 25 and only did go carts once a $9 value. Rather discouraging makes you not even wanna do anything there at all. Here's a pic of my kid getting to have the fun I paid for though. Sure wish I couldve just got to enjoy my Friday night. But nope. I get to pay for stuff and not enjoy just get screwed.

You won't be able to use the kiosk to check in and depending on how busy it is, you might end up being in line for 30+ minutes to check in at the front desk. If you have an electric car, have a back up plan to charge your car. They have 4 Tesla chargers and two non-Tesla chargers. I've been told the two non-tesla ones does not work. The Tesla ones work half the time and you need to change the charge to 20amp from your car setting or it would stop charging after 5 minutes. I've also been told they plan to remove all the chargers in the near future so call ahead and ask. Sign up for their newsletter. They often have deals throughout the year and special sale on 8/4 every year. It's a fun place but everything inside is overpriced so expect to spend an extra $100 per night there if you plan on dining there as well. I've seen people pack their own lunch and drinks in a cooler and none of the staff members seem to care. There's also a mini fridge in the room and a microwave and ice machine on every floor. Bring a sweater or warm jacket. Walking out of the water park to air conditioned indoor area can be cold. In my opinion, staying on the first floor has been the more convenient. Especially the morning of checkout. You don't have to wait for the elevator and usually the elevator fills up quickly around checkout time. If you are purchasing miniature golf or bowling, buy the family deal if you have four or more people. The arcade Is a money pit, don't stay here too long or try your best to avoid it. My son loves this place and we keep coming back so they must be doing something right lol the staffs here have always been friendly so no complaints there.

Confirmed Field Trip, Not Open, and No Real Solutions…read more We were really excited to bring our first grade class here for a fairy tale field trip, and it ended up being incredibly disappointing. We had a confirmed 10:00 AM reservation and even called to confirm both the day before and the morning of. We arrived early with 42 students and 8 adults and were told to enter through Dillard's--only to find it closed. We then had to walk our entire group around the building and through the mall. When we arrived, the experience was completely dark and not set up. At 10:15, we were told the characters "weren't ready yet" and asked to wait. That turned into being asked to wait until 11:30. Managing that kind of delay with 42 first graders--especially with rotating groups--is simply not realistic. Some of our students would have been waiting well over an hour. What made it worse was the lack of meaningful solutions. We were offered 50% off their maze next door (after already paying a significant amount for the experience), but couldn't even access it right away. The only free option suggested was a toddler play area, which was not appropriate for our students. At that point, we had to ask for a refund and completely pivot. We ended up taking the kids to a park just so they could eat lunch and play. Many of them were confused and upset--some were even crying. Field trips take a lot of time and planning, and we chose this experience specifically to connect to our fairy tale unit. It was incredibly frustrating to lose both the experience and a half day of learning due to poor communication and lack of preparation. I would strongly caution any school or large group before booking here.
