In keeping with a trendier, hip vibe nowadays this restaurant at first glance seems to be the same as most BUT we had a Terrific breakfast, on a par or better than we have had here in California without the attitude. Service was excellent, bloody Mary's were tasty and powerful and meal was wonderful. As a former MT resident I Don't like what's happening/happened to Bozeman in general but it's got some great places to eat and the friendly attitudes go miles to making things that much better. I will say it as often as possible; the hollow, disinterested, bored look by most wait staff today, no matter where in the US you are, is a huge turn off for the older crowd like me. This was not my JAM. if you read then menu before hand your excited to eat there. I was looking forward to the Eggs Benedict , but upon arrival of the flight i was disappointed. I ordered the crab cake, classic, and the chicken eggs benedict Expecting for it to be marvelous. Sadly the eggs were over cooked the meal was lacking soul. Easily one of my favorite places to eat... out of anywhere and everywhere. My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Montana, visiting National Parks / exploring and we ended up eating at Jam! two different times. The staff is incredibly efficient and friendly. And their food exemplifies the state; simple, beautiful, and free. It's a creative menu that sticks to the basics and does it all in a great way. The girl outside is obviously instructed to treat everybody like an idiot and keep saying it will be 10 minutes more only to end up waiting for over an hour. I ordered the huevos rancheros with pork and avocado. The corn tortillas are delicious and homemade. The coffee is great, and they make sure your cup is always filled. My husband ordered the Benedict which he really enjoyed. They sell individual pancakes, and I have to go back to try one. They looked delicious! Great place and very good food. The Jam Crepe was very good, but the royal icing wasn't really needed as it was sweet with just the Jam. I also had the Breakfast Board with perfectly poached eggs and great thick bacon - and if course the toast and jam. Great ambiance and can accommodate parties of all sizes. I am allergic to apples and they graciously took them out, some restaurants are kind of annoyed when you ask about that stuff but they were super nice! Just returned from a driving trip from Bellingham, WA to Silver Spring, MD. The breakfast we had at Jam! was the best meal we had on our trip - hands down. The Beet & Roots Hash was sublime, and the the Jam Reuben and Counter Assault sandwiches got rave reviews. Covid precautious were followed assiduously and all of the wait and service staff were uniformly cheerful and helpful. I am sorry that this will be the only time I was able to enjoy this restaurant. I went two days ago to try it as my relatives said it was a new restaurant in town and it looked good. I got the breakfast burrito and the biscuit and jam. I have traveled quite a bit and I usually get the breakfast burrito wherever I go. I have to say without a doubt, this is the best breakfast burrito I've ever eaten. I was curious so I went a day later and got the breakfast burrito again and found it was just as excellent as day 1. If you visit Bozeman you MUST eat here...period. read more

Was looking for a decent Breakfast in Bozeman, and Jam! delivers. Mocha was too sweet, but well flavored. Food was all prepared well, good flavor, hot, and everything was good. Unlike the cold swill you get at Nova, everything was on point. This seems like a great venue to have events. They should host local art instead of that travesty mural on the wall. Only suggestion is to break up the space better with more private eating options. I hate sitting close to loud people who take over your meal. Additionally, the wall seating on the kitchen side is uncomfortable and crappy. I was a foot taller on the bench than my companion in their chair. Table is too low to eat comfortably. Get higher tables or some fix I can't sit there (6' tall). read more
