I was involved in an accident during March of 2016. I went to Moon Auto body as they are close to where I live and they have an Enterprise Rental agency right next door. I had been pinned at the back of my vehicle as my neighbor back into me. Well that was a traumatic event. Mr. Stone took care of me with the repairs needed and made my difficult situation much better with his professionalism and personal attention. After my vehicle was repair I had an issue with the repaired tailgate not operating correct. I took it back to Mr. Stone. Mr. Stone made the calls and I went to the local dealership for my vehicle. The problem was solved, with no charge. On my way home I stopped and personally thank Mr. Stone for his customer service. His reaction was what else would you expect? I told him I have been around the block at the age of 58 years and this level customer service is almost unheard of today. I had another accident recently. My fault. I went straight to Mr. Stone again. He remembered me by name. Also, I had forgotten to reserve a rental vehicle. Mr. Stone already had taken care of that for me. Who does this today?? Then when I went to pick up my vehicle there was an issue with my insurance check. Mr. Stone made several calls and took care of what was needed. Folks, A++ service that needs to recognized.

The Wagners are very honest about timetables and costs. They are good about telling you what various options you have for parts, types of repairs, etc so you understand what the opportunity costs are with respect to time, money, convenience, and quality. They are also very responsive about looping customers in on communication with the insurance companies. I appreciated that the Wagners were willing to explain auto body 101 concepts to me -- they are humble and there is no talking down or condescension when repairs/car issues are being explained. On sort of a side note, by talking to Rob I learned a lot about car bodies and just generally got some bigger picture insight into car repairs, the insurance industry, and supply chain issues. Unfortunately, I became sick over the weekend to the point where I couldn't attend classes, go to work, or even get out of bed. On Tuesday, they called asking when I would bring my car in for a paint match. I explained that I was sick and couldn't come, but they insisted that I had to come either Tuesday or Wednesday. When I explained that I physically couldn't make it, they became aggressive, started yelling at me, and threatened to throw my belongings onto the street if I didn't show up. They accused me of lying and claimed that I had agreed to come on Tuesday. I acknowledge that we initially discussed Tuesday, but they had also told me that the paint job wouldn't be ready until the following week. I wasn't trying to back out of our agreement. I was simply sick and unable to leave my bed. I repeatedly explained my situation and pleaded with them to give me some flexibility. I told them I would come as soon as I was physically able, but I couldn't promise a specific day that week because I didn't know when I would recover. Instead of showing any understanding, they continued yelling, hung up on me, and stopped answering my calls. I genuinely don't understand what I did to deserve this treatment. I was respectful, honest about my circumstances, and willing to follow through as soon as I could. I don't believe that being sick justifies being yelled at, accused of lying, or threatened. What makes this even more upsetting is that I'm a college student paying for these repairs entirely out of pocket. I can't help but feel that they're treating me this way because they believe I'm in a vulnerable position and won't stand up for myself. I seriously doubt they would speak to a higher-paying customer this way. I was simply asking for some understanding while I recovered from being sick. I don't think that was unreasonable, and I certainly don't think the way I was treated was fair or professional.

I then found out i had a $1000 deducible on my insurance. I told them to hold up because I didn't have the $1000. They repeatedly told me not to worry about the deducible. On at least 4 to 6 occasions. They assured me they would get the money from my insurance. After they replaced the hood, the dash and several other parts that didn't need replaced, they billed my insurance $6,702 they still want an additional $1000 from me. the only thing I approved was for them to replace the windshield. Needless to say my finance company has now reclaimed the car. I have since had my insurance company and the PA State Atty Generals consumers dept start an investigation.

I did some damage to my car in a parking lot with relatively high curb. Not wanting to turn it into…read moremy insurance and end up paying more in the long run I reached out to Tatano Brothers Autobody. I was told to stop down around 8:30am to meet with the appraiser Mike. I arrived at 8:30 and Mike promptly looked at the rocker panel and the wheel on my VW Passat. We went inside, Mike called the VW dealership, obtained the parts pricing and gave me a written estimate of my repair cost to have a new rocker panel painted, installed and have my wheel fixed. I was so pleased with the pricing I told him to get the part ordered. The part arrived several days later, they painted it and let it cure over the weekend. Mike scheduled me in for Wednesday 7/26. I dropped my car off and left it with George the owner. I had a call by 2PM that the car was ready for pick up. I arrived and was simply blown away by the quality of work performs mainly on the wheel, which I tore up pretty badly. It looked better then when I bought the car. The rocker panel was replaced and it is seamless. The paint match is excellent. From start to finish the entire process was simple. Tatano Brother's Auto Body is simply the type of business in which I like to deal. They're no BS, to the point and they do it right the first time. Oh, and the pricing...it is exceptionally fair. If I ever need body work done on a car(hopefully not) - They will be my first call.
