It's always fun to visit Jalebi Street and enjoy some of their freshly made jalebis! The service is friendly and it's great to enjoy some hot food while sitting outdoors!

I went there on a Tuesday around 6pm not crowded at all. I ordered bhature and jalebi(3 orders) and it was an incredible experience! They make jalebis as per order. It's a family run truck stop and they have ample outdoor seating as well. Bhature(5/5): The bhature was incredible, got 4 pcs and they were so soft and tasted yummy. giving me the feeling of enjoying it right in India. They charged me $14.99 for bhature Jalebi(5/5): each serving of jalebi costed $5.99 and we get 5pcs in each serving. saw them using Amul Desi ghee for jalebis with no added color. The jalebis were perfectly thin, crispy, and juicy. I would say best jalebis in bay area. They had all the flavors and crunch you'd want in a perfect jalebi. My order was a to-go and it took them around 10-15mins to get it ready and they got it to my car once the order was ready. 5 star service. They have great hygiene, quick service and a friendly staff. If you're a fan of traditional sweets, you can't miss this place. Highly recommend!

Hot jalebis in the cold was a great memory for a group of friends that visited us in the Bay Area. They made hot jalebis right in front of us. Coming back to try more.

Visited jalebi street and it was a great experience! They make live Jalebis as per order which were crispy, thin and juicy. They have unlimited Pani Puri for $9.99 and Rajasthani Kachoris - Kachori chaat and Dal Kachori. Highly recommend their Chole Bhature.

The Jalebi was good but had better ones in bay area. Ordered chole bhatura but it was full of spices had heart burns after having it. Also ordered sev puri - quantity was less and was loaded only with curd couldn't appreciate other flavors. Went will high expectations and was very disappointed.

Savoring hot Bedmi Aloo Puri and Kachori Sabji on a chilly November night is pure comfort. Highly recommend everything on the menu--and don't miss the hot, fresh Jalebi! The ambiance is open-air dhaba style, and the service is impressively quick on weekdays.

Good news- just tried the same guy at the new place and its still really fresh and yum :) go visit - Bikaner sweet sunnyvale and enjoy 4 jalebis for $6 We also tried the aloo samosa and kachori and everything was lip smacking good :) even their green chutney sauce was amazing to pair it with samosas

Live Jalebi! Cant get any fresher than this.

Found this on a Facebook group where people were talking about a place which makes live Jalebis right here in the Bay Area. So I had to try it out. Went here and not surprisingly found a long line of people waiting for fresh Jalebis and Kachori. The Jalebis were amazing. One of the best I have had yet in the States. Thin and crunchy with just the right amount of sweetness. I wish I would have bought one more box :D The Kachori was also perfectly crunchy with a spicy stuffing. Again one of the best I have had. It was worth the 40 min drive :)

Dont go looking for Jalebi street coz u wont find it. This is a Indian sweet n chat place and someone is making hot jalebis outside on stove. We pay inside and paid for rabri with jalebi and waited for few mins as they were making it. Rabri is sweet n when we have it with hot jalebi .. man o man it was yummy Certainly place to try

So far I have tried chole bhature, jalebis and samosa besides sone Indian sweets and I must say that the food here really good but can't say the same about the service. Their attitude is like they don't care if you buy from them or not. Also, you can't place order on the phone, you can place order online via their website, why? In the era where customer experience and service is valued a lot they really score zero on the scale.

SERVICE - located off of el Camino real…read more- small parking lot in front can get crowded during busier hours like weekends and Friday evenings - expect a wait of at least 30 minutes during busier times - order at the area in the front and then find a table for the food to be brought to you - complementary chutneys and sambar served with every order - service is fast - self service take out containers in the back of the dining area MENU - homestyle South Indian food - all vegetarian with ample vegan options - average price FOOD - enne masala dosa (10/10): crispy and fluffy dosa filled with potato masala and served with chutneys and sambar. This is the vegan version of the benne dosa that is usually made with ghee. The dosa is different than standard dosas as it is very crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle. It is quite oily but that is to be expected from a dish that is normally made with generous drizzles of ghee. - ratna cafe sambar idli (8/10): two pieces of idli soaked in a pearl onion sambar. The pearl onions make this sambar unique by adding a slight sweetness and tang. The idli soaks up the sambar so i would recommend eating it fresh so that it does not get soggy. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! The food is reasonably priced and has tastes like home cooked food.

I buy several days worth to hold me into the week. Always very fresh. For example, if I buy at 9 in the morning my experience is that the Samosa's are still warm from cooking when I get home to eat at 10am. The conscientious chef is up much of the night before, or early in the morning, to cook fresh for the day. His sauces are so excellent. I sometimes stretch his dishes by pairing with my own vegetables as his sauces are so good. I highly recommend Satkar.

But we were undeterred and ordered anyway. I'd gotten the palak paneer, my favorite Indian dish and my usual basis for comparison, with kulcha naan and it was okay, but nothing to really write home about. The palak paneer was a bit sweeter than I had expected, but other than that, just fine. My coworker and I also split vegetable pakora that came with a somewhat spicy sauce (I am a spice wimp, but he is very much not), and those were pretty good. I don't quite remember what my coworker got as his main, maybe one of the dal dishes, but he also thought it was fine. The location itself is pretty small, and seems to be more for takeout than sit down diners, although that is what we did. Parking was pretty easy in the plaza, but that might be because the pizza place next door appeared to be closed? Things felt slightly dingy, but I think maybe in truth things were just a bit worn, right down to the Corelle plates which seemed like they had been in service for a long time. Decor is pretty sparse, but the lady behind the counter was nice enough when we were ordering. Overall, not a bad experience, but also not much of a draw for me. But if you like your Indian food a little on the sweeter side, maybe this is the place for you.

Tonight I was craving a home style chicken and rice dish similar to what my mom makes . Now I know it's not possible to get that from a restaurant, but the closest to that is the Donne biryani preparation that a few places offer in the Bay Area. So I looked up Yelp and found this spot. The fact that it already had 4.9 stars was reassuring but I didn't put too many expectations on it. But what I did was call the place and make sure they'd be open by the time I made that 28 mile drive. I spoke to a person named Sagar who took my order and told me to take my time getting there and drive carefully! Husband and I got there around 9:30pm and it's a cloud kitchen setup with kitchens in the back and a point of sale kiosk and counter at the front. As instructed I called Sagar and he came up to the counter with my food, and also let me know he had added a free dessert since I drove all the way from Hayward . Husband and I got home and immediately dug in and what can I say, the flavors totally took me back to my mom's kitchen. The Donne biryani was bursting with taste, and what made it superb was that the flavors were in balance, with neither the spices nor the aromatics being overpowering in any way. The other dish, the pepper chicken was epic by itself, and should have been enjoyed with a bread of some sort, because the biryani didn't need any accompaniment. As if this meal wasn't divine enough the cherry on top was the pineapple kesari dessert that Sagar kindly added to our takeout bag. Thanks Nalapaka, for a taste of home, away from home !

If you are looking for that elusive combination of home-cooked taste and simple, soul-warming food,…read morethis place takes the cake. It has officially become our family's go-to dinner spot, and for good reason--they truly never miss a beat. The Standout Dishes The menu is a celebration of authentic flavors. Some of our absolute favorites include: Millet Dosa: Perfectly crisp and a great healthy alternative. Mini Idli Podi: Bite-sized bursts of flavor with the perfect spice blend. Pesarattu: Authentically prepared and incredibly satisfying. The Pro Tip: The real star of the show is the ginger chutney served with the Dosae. It is the perfect zesty accompaniment that ties the whole meal together. Service & Atmosphere Beyond the food, the service is exceptionally efficient. Even during busy dinner rushes, the staff is attentive and ensures that nothing is overlooked. It's rare to find a place that feels this consistent and welcoming.
