    Chorizo dip. Awesome!
    Brian L.

The chorizo dip is incredible! The steak and shrimp hit the spot. I've had better shrimp and better steak, but for the price, I got exactly what I paid for. Actually, it was very good for the price. The steak was very juicy and I love the way it was marinated. The salsa was room temperature which I love. That means it's freshly made. I don't know how authentic this place actually is, but I'm guessing it's not really. It's great for what it is though. This used to be a BBQ place. I wonder if they still have the smoker. Also, I notice that they serve a full American breakfast all day every day.

Food is incredible and great price! I'm glad they are not open on the weekends, they cater to the working class that need a breakfast, lunch and dinner place M-F which I appreciate; I can make my own food on the weekend. The staff is always friendly and when you need to pick up and get home they are quick!

Free homemade salsa with your order is delicious. The burgers are amazing. A double will very easily feed two people. The fries are fresh hand cut and the bomb. Patty melt is the best I've had. Pancakes are amazing. Everything I have had here has been amazing. Great prices too.

Great salsa and fajitas in small town Tennessee. Family located this place on our drive home from Memphis and it was a hit with everyone.

I am a self proclaimed beer snob so having options other than the usual Miller Lite, Mich Ultra, or Lord forbid the fruity Bud Light is awesome. Their menu is pretty limited. One burger option, a handful of flatbreads or a pretzel, that's it. I'd like to see some wings or some burger options and even a salad or two for the tagalong wives or girlfriends would be nice. We ordered a couple of flatbread pizzas. They were a little thick for our tastes but VERY good nonetheless. We had a veggie and a sausage. A couple came in after us and ordered burgers and they looked great. Maybe next time. Service was okay. Dude seemed a little distracted but it might be because he was the only one left on a Sunday evening. I had a Batlast Red IPA which was also delicious! I'll be back but I'll probably have to talk my wife into it.

I've never met him before, but it felt like we'd been acquaintances for years! We stopped in on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. So the ambiance was subtle and relaxing. Some old blues tunes were playing through the sound system, which made the atmosphere just that much more inviting! The aroma wafting from the kitchen was antagonizing my, already, empty stomach....I couldn't wait for the burgers to hit the table! We watched others getting their food as we waited our turn and it was extremely enticing. From the flatbreads to burgers to the oversized pretzels on the menu! They seem to be covering the gambit of what a hungry appetite would be looking for. I went with the burger...and I did NOT choose poorly! WOW!!! They have live music as well...looks like that's just about every weekend!

I don't know why last week was my first time getting food from here. My husband has been eating at…read moreThe King of Wings (perfect name for this place) his entire life and it's the go to for him and our son when I'm out of town working. I'm hesitant to even put a review out there on how truly wonderful it is, with the major city that sits right next door to us and not wanting everyone to just rush out here and take it over, but I have to give credit where credit is due and The King of Wings is spot on. Immediately, when you walk in the door you're greeted by the sweetest southern lady that makes you want to bring a lawn chair on your next visit just to sit outside and talk to her and a gentle giant that you just know is a shenanigan stopper, but you want him to be an uncle to your teenage kids when they mess up. The environment is like home and welcoming and I haven't even gotten to the food that is going to make you question where have you been ordering wings your entire life. They have numerous flavors to choose from and their wings are whole wings, not the divided up wings that you're going to pay double or more for from other places. If you know, you know. Their onion rings are homemade, just like they came from your grandma's fryer and the fried green tomatoes, I will with confidence say are the best I've ever had in my life. The night we ordered was the night of the football jamborees in West TN so we knew we were going to have several hungry teenagers at our house that night. We got a 50 wing platter with a few different flavors, tenders, onion rings, fries, and Ofcourse those fried green tomatoes. All of this, for under 80$. They could charge double that and still beat out other wing places but they keep their business small and more like you're ordering from family. A few things to know before going 1. They are cash only. I had to go to the ATM to get cash because I didn't know this and to my surprise they started my order while I was gone. I love this about them, that they are keeping it small and instead of having to keep up with credit card charges and bank fees, they take cash and instead invest that into their food and keeping their prices affordable for everyone. 2. It is carry out only, but on that note as sweet and kind as the owner is, I think she would probably sit down with you and talk while you ate your food from your lap and it would be the best meal of your life. 3. They close at 6PM, so this isn't going to be that late night place to eat. They are a gem in a small town and keep to that small town appeal with their hours and pace. Seriously, in a town that sits up against a major city with hundreds of wing places to choose from, come to small town Somerville and give the King of Wings a try. It's going to become your favorite spot and you're going to leave there smiling and feeling better about your day.

The biggest issue was the service. The employee working the cash register came across as rude and unfriendly, as if customers were inconveniencing him. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like we were being treated poorly, which put a damper on the entire visit. While the food tasted good, the portions were a bit skimpy on ingredients for the price. Considering how expensive everything was, I expected better value and a more positive customer experience. I know this restaurant has plenty of fans, but I found some of the employees to be arrogant and dismissive. The treatment we received felt rude and unprofessional, and it left a lasting negative impression. Overall, I am deeply disappointed. Good food can only make up for so much, and the poor service overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable meal. I would not return based on the way we were treated. It's very clean but very old stuff and to much on display with old plants everywhere.
