First time visiting this food court. Cute little place with a few good places to eat. I love Mexican food, so, I had the carnitas nachos from Jalepeño 808. When I was given my food, I couldn't believe the portion size! It was huge! It was delicious! The chips remained crispy to the very end! The meat was delicious as were all the toppings! Very friendly service!

We heard about the new Liliha Food Court located in the old Foodland and wanted to check it out. My wife and I ate at Jalapeno's 808 and wasn't disappointed. We had a few of their bowls, but should have shared. Yes, it's that big. The food was ready in a jiffy and they let you pick all of your add-on/toppings. I would definitely eat here again. Give them a try when you're looking for a quick meal. Sorry, we jumped right in to eating our bowls, we forgot to take pics. Alooooooha and happy eating.

Spicing things up in Liliha... Love this little new spot in the new Liliha Food Court which was formerly Foodland supermarket as it was so sad to see them go I loved that it turned out to still be a place that we can gather for food. I do love jalapeños and was feeling quite naughty enough to order their fiesta fries as it did sound like a party situation which indeed it was where a large and let me tell you this can feed two easily is topped with cheese but you're able to add protein which I did add birria which was a generous portion that was quite flavorful chunks of shredded meat and once you pay are given a buzzer and when I returned was surprised that they asked what toppings I wanted and decided on pico de gallo, more cheese, corn, jalapeños (of course) and sour cream. OMG I already knew it would be impossible to finish but thankfully Mari was there and helped me out and finished it for me lol! The staff there is very nice and friendly and very efficient as well. Loved that they had seating provided by Liliha Food Court making it a great place to take care of that spicy cravings filled with freshness as well. Thank you!

Located in the new Liliha food court (old Foodland on School St). Plenty of choices on the menu. Prices are a bit hefty but portions make up for it. Tasty, quick, fresh.

Went to Liliha food court for lunch on a Saturday, not that busy at all. My wife wants to try this Mexican place while I ordered other food. The staff is friendly, we want to try the combo with soup, but they said they don't have it, bummer. So we switched to three tacos. Our meat choices are chicken, beef and pork. You can view the tacos in our photo. It comes with two sources. The fillings are so full it overflow, so, it is messy to eat it, the meat and veg. kelp falling out. I guess it is what it is. Get your hands dirty and dig in. The taco tastes Ok, but if I order again, I will go for the hard taco shell instead of the soft taco. The cost of about $21 for only three tacos seems a bit overprice in my opinion. Liliha food court has tables and chairs for you to enjoy your foods, they also have a pretty good size parking. Overall, I give this place a 6.5 out of 10.

Lunch in Liliha, Honolulu, Hawai'i... Located inside of the new Liliha Food Court, Jalapeño's 808 is one of the vendors in this clean, spacious, air-conditioned venue. The shared parking (with McDonald's) is free; there's a convenient restroom; and there's a Security Guard at the entrance to the Food Court! Service was friendly and helpful. The young man gave me a heads up that the avocado (guacamole) has an upcharge. I ordered one Pastor taco. It was generously topped with lettuce, onions, cilantro, and sour cream. I passed on the spicy peppers and salsa. The taco was tasty, fresh, and filling! I'm looking forward to returning and trying more menu items!

Everyone in the family loved Jalapeños. This is a place to come when you want: 1. A huge meal after a morning of surfing 2. An order that can serve 2+ people. I'm not kidding, the portions are HUGE! I was initially put off by the price (meals start at about $18, but once you add guac and meats, they come out closer to $25. We got two dishes (steak nachos and chicken bowl) and a jarritos (because delicious) for a little over $60. BUT we were able to eat the leftovers for an additional 6 meals just adding tortillas. Both dishes were super tasty and filling! We will definitely be back, although we might do more sharing next time!

Friendly service, good food! The wait for food isn't bad, they work fast. Good options for toppings too. A lot of options for meats. We got the Fiesta fries to share for 2 Located in Liliha food court so there's plenty of seating. it's a very clean food court

Delicious veggie taco plate and chicken burrito! Great customer service but they could use an extra person at the front to handle orders. Will be back!

BAB, burrito is huge, and very tasty. Its a little on the pricier side for burritos but oh man do you get your money's worth. We got the pork pastor burrito with everything on it. Refried beans, onions, jalapeño, cilantro, salsa, sour cream, spicy sauce. We opted for the guacamole so it was an extra $4, but it made it so flavorful, well worth the extra cost. Spicy wasn't too spicy, it had a slight kick to it. Only finished 1/4 of it. And have enough left over for dinner and lunch tomorrow.

    Carna Asada Fries with guacamole.

I went in craving a humble bean and cheese burrito and somehow talked myself into ordering the Carne Asada Fries with guacamole instead. They're advertised at $19.50, but oddly enough, the carne asada costs an extra $3.00 and the guacamole another $4.00 bringing the total to $27.00. Fine. At that price, I assumed these fries were about to change my life . Sadly, no. What I received was a tray of fries absolutely swimming in canned nacho cheese. If that had been mentioned anywhere, I would have made a very different life choice. Extremely disappointing.

Our son ordered the nachos appetizer as his main meal, my husband got the Mexico burrito, and I ordered the carnitas plate. I tried a bit of everyone's food, and honestly, we had zero complaints. Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, not overly salty or chewy at all. The guacamole was even creamy! To put the value into perspective: a few days earlier, I bought three carne asada tacos with very little meat from a food court in Waikiki, and they were only a few dollars cheaper than my entire, massive plate here. The pricing is incredible for the generous portions you get, making it a great budget friendly option compared to everywhere else we ate while visiting Honolulu. My husband even noted that he had never had Mexican food this good in the States especially considering Honolulu is so far from the border! He rarely raves about restaurants, so the fact that he's already talking about coming back makes this place an absolute must try.

The guy working behind the bar seated us, but then never brought menus, never brought water, and never came back to take our order. When my friend tried waving him down, he ignored us. Eventually another employee came in, and the bartender just told him, "Go take his order," without acknowledging us at all. I don't know if he was only working the bar that day, but he could have at least brought water, menus, or simply said someone would be right with us. But we were looking for something different, quick, and tasty. That's what we got at K-Mex HI although to be quite frank - the parking lot here is terrible! Mostly due to their location in the middle of the street with a handful of street parking locations shared with multiple other businesses down the lane. It took us 3 rounds of driving before we ended up deciding it was better to drop me off to order and pick up the food and have my man drive around into another larger parking lot to wait the 15-ish minutes it would take for our food to be ready. The owners were so nice. Answering all of my insistent questions, smiling when I ended up ordering something different from what they recommended on the menu (my bad - it's a question I ask all businesses even though I usually decide what I want beforehand LOL). They asked if I needed a bag, if I needed utensils and napkins, and even checked in on me while they made the food! Awesome service and I'm sure it would be the same if we decided to eat in. I liked the atmosphere. It was small but homely, clean, and there were a few small fish tanks in the corner! 15-ish minutes later, food packed up - I jumped back in the car and we drove down to South Shore Market in Ward to eat at the tables and take a glance if Ocean Taste's line was... long (it was). And let me tell you... the food? Delicious. The amount of food? Good for the price! And overall pretty darn great experience. I wasn't the biggest fan of the spicy pork (not my preference). But my fiancé liked it and his only comment was that it was a bit greasy for his liking. Reminded him he was in-fact eating spicy pork which is normally served on his plate lunch in a piece of tinfoil so the oil doesn't get everywhere! The carne asada was super delish along with the gochujang hot sauce cups we found at the bottom of the bag. I'd get K-Mex HI again if I was in the area but I'd love to see them in another location where I can more easily park!
