Emma didn't wait to clean off a booth and table for me. Service was expedited quickly and what I ordered. The Jake Burger was the best burger I've had in a long while. Will be back for sure read more

If it wasn't for the food, I would actually give my experience two stars. My boyfriend and I were really excited to try out this new burger joint that opened up here in Sachse. We sat down and were greeted in a very reasonable timeframe. Our appetizers were fairly quick to hit the table, our drinks as well. Our server JV was nice, but forgot to ring in our order for about 30 minutes... he also forgot my boyfriend's second cocktail. He did come over and inform us that the kitchen didn't receive our order, so kudos to him for informing us of his mistake. When our entrées finally hit the table, we both really enjoyed our burgers. The fries were just OK in our opinion! The ambiance was pretty cool! Tons of different TVs, open floor-plan, patio seating, when weather permits, etc. When the bill came, I noticed that my boyfriend's sandwich got charged with cheese. It wasn't a big mess up by any means, it was $.75 so I didn't say anything because honestly I kinda just wanted to leave at this point. ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND: this may be a burger joint, but it's honestly kind of pricey as well... for two waters, fried pickles, two burgers, one basket of fry, and two cocktails you're gonna look to spend about $70 bucks! (Tip included) As someone who works in the service industry, and has for many years. I'm a firm believer in not judging a place after one visit... unless your service/food was absolutely horrendous... So we'll be back sometime to try again! read more

Awful factory food. Cooked so much there was nothing left in the meat. Bun was awesome. Veggies not fresh. Sweet potato fries had cinnamon sugar on them which ruined them. They were also greasy. Expensive. Go to Creekside or Country burger instead. read more

Just opened in Sachse. Busy as everyone wants to try. Open seating at bar. 25+ tv's to watch. Friendly staff. Burgers were cooked right and plenty big. Great tots and onion rings. Drink menu has something for everyone. I'm not a Bloody Mary drinker but those who were said they were on point. read more

Super nice staff and manager. Accommodated our group of ten with ease. Waitress was down to earth and relatable and did an excellent job! Food was great. We ranged from kids meals to patty melt to the specialty burgers. I had the hot hickory and it was so good! read more

Awesome as usual...I grew up eating at the OG Jake's...it's different but the burgers still take me back. Bianca was our server, and she was great! Hooked my little guy up with a free shake...not sure if I'm supposed to say that here lol, but he loves her now. read more

The waitress was kind and very attentive. My husband has an onion allergy, and she took the rime to verify with the chef that his order had no onions. The portions are huge. I had the chicken fried steak and my husband had the chicken fried chicken, Both were excellent. I took half of mt meal home which was enough for another meal. read more

The service was great. The food was delicious and accurate. The ambiance was busy but not too busy. Prices were right. Even when we had a mishap, management went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make things right. Extremely happy to have Jake's close to us. read more

Food was yummy. bathroom had poop and booger on the wall everywhere. Emma was a terrible server and took forever to bring out our order. She come to table doesn't even notice my drink empty and just walks away. game room only had 3 games and costed 20$ for a few coins. they had an absurd amount of tvs. don't you think 22 tvs is enough no I think you need more. jk read more

I have been to this new Jakes location twice since they have open. The interior is beautifully done, the service both times was fabulous, and most importantly the food stood up to Jakes standards- that being fantastic !!!! Finally a decent restaurant in Sachse !!! read more

We will NOT be coming back. This place needs a good cleaning for starters. Doesn't matter if we order here or get our food Togo our order is ALWAYS wrong. We came in today to give them another chance and my order is wrong again. The bartender is eating food off a customers plate which is so unprofessional. read more

We went the week they opened up. Service started little slow then picked up. Will be back again for sure. Burgers tasted great and loved the cheese curds! read more

Server was great but food took a while to arrive. The burgers were decent but fries were cold. We didn't want to send the food back because we had already waited a while and just wanted to get out of there. read more

I LOVE JAKES! I've been going to the original Jakes in Dallas since I was little. Disappointed today. The table had crumbs on it when we sat down. It took 10 minutes for us to get our drinks, the appetizer came out quick but was cold. We ordered both to go food & food to eat at the table, but the to go food came out faster, so we ended up getting everything to go instead. We came for the opening weekend & it was much better, but definitely disappointed today. read more

This the burger place I have been waiting for in Sachse, I just didn't know it yet! We went to Jake's for the first time a few weeks ago. Since they opened recently, I didn't expect much. We went on a Saturday around 5ish and they already had a waitlist. Although they said it would be about 30-45 minutes, we were seated in about 20 minutes. Although they were extremely busy, our server Aiden, was quick and attentive and we had great service. Finally, the food. Again, my first time, so I wasn't sure what to expect. There were 3 of us in my party and we all loved our burgers and fries. Can't wait to go back! read more

Family of 5 walk-in on a Saturday evening. Table within minutes with good food and service!

Best burger in the Metroplex. I have been going to the original in Dallas for 30 plus years. The new one in Sachse is really good. Tastes just like the original. Very nice building and pretty good parking. Only been open a week and they have it down pretty good. Friendly staff and nice bar. TV's galore! read more

My latest experience at Jake's was very disappointing. Our waitress was fantastic. Drinks were good my complaint is about the food & portions. The chicken tenders were about the size of a child's fingers. The burgers were pitiful in size seems like the buns are extra big while the meat patty was dang near paper thin when I got finished eating I had a half of bun left with no meat. I understand the cost of everything is going up, but come on Jakes y'all can do better. If you are going to serve paper thin meat then decrease the price & the bun size. read more

Uhhhh we just ordered food from here earlier today and have been sick to our stomachs since we ate it about 5 hours ago. Came to Yelp to look at the reviews and I'm wondering why there have been so many people with stomach issues after eating here...deeply concerning to put it mildly. We got onion rings, mozzarella sticks (which something tasted odd with these) and the hatch chile chicken quesadillas (which also tasted odd). Idk what they're doing when they're prepping that food or maybe it's with how they're storing it but I feel like they need to shut this location down. Clean everything deeply. Go item by item to make sure nothing is expired or bad. And retrain the staff/cooks on sanitation. Bleh! read more

Food and drinks were perfect. The chicken fried bacon was awesome. JV, our waiter, nailed it. And the staff all helps each other so well, never an empty glass. The place was slammed yet service was great. We will definitely be back. read more

Food was solid, looks cool, but service is sucks and is slow. It started out with the waiter forgetting my wife's drink. So I had to ask twice, but this is after he had been by a couples times and asked if we were ready to order. It was only after he asked if I wanted another, and I commented that my wife was still waiting on her Dr. Pepper, did he realize that he forgot it. Then never refilled it. Later I asked for a shot after the drink I ordered was sub par they brought me the wrong one. I let them know but I said it was fine and took it anyways so nothing was wasted. Later when I asked for the correct one they said it was too close to the last one i took... which was not even the one i ordered... and yes i got charged for it too. Then had to ask 3x for some to go boxes. All in all if you want to eat here, just get your food to go. read more

We stopped by the newest location for lunch. Not super busy, but it was getting there after we got our food! We tried the chicken fried bacon- served with gravy & hot maple syrup- it was delicious!! I ordered the Jake Burger- hubby has the frito pie- both were really good!! Way too much food!! The service was excellent-Javorion did a great job, kept our drinks filled and made sure we didn't need anything!! So happy we have a Jake's close by now! Lots of TV's to keep up with sports while you're eating and the bar looks fully stocked - maybe next visit we will have a cocktail with our meal!! read more

Food was good but service was awful. We waited 15 minutes for waitress after being seated. None of our orders were correct the first time and it took forever to get our bill. They did discount our bill to try and compensate but we won't be back. read more

I made a to go order, person I spoke to on phone was nice. My wife and I drove to go pick up, food was not ready despite being told that it should be ready 15 minutes after the order was placed. We wait there for about 20 minutes, people are trying to pick up their order as well, and bar tender is telling others that he is JUST the bar tender, which ok I guess, but seemed kind of rude. We got our food, and when we open order at home, we saw that we were missing our fried pickles and that our loaded tater tots only had cheddar cheese and bacon. And they gave us like a tablespoon of ranch. VERY disappointed with this experience. I'm not sure of I'll be going back. Waited too long, paid too much, no thank you. read more

Second time here. Service always great, sadly food not so much. Soggy fries and the thinnest burger with no flavor. Outside area is okay, considering you are in parking lot. Overall the bar area and service level will get my future business. read more

Strike 1 for Jake's. Live close in the neighborhood and decided to walk up there to grab dinner. The last few times there we've always had a good experience. Got our drink promptly then it went downhill. Gal behind the bar deserted us, gentleman who took our order messed up my wife's salad, then she had to wait another 20+ minutes to get her food. I ordered the Chicken Club sandwich & the chicken was so thin (Looked like they pounded it with a sledgehammer...) & was the width of a vinyl record. Bad experience overall! Live & learn "what and what not to order" at a burger place. read more

Good burgers, i mean really a bit better than average but the poppy seed buns are *chefs kiss* However, this place is not cheap, for some burgers and fries to feed a family of four it was absolutely not affordable. Service was ok, but I don't knock them on that since it seems most of the staff were teenagers from the local high schools. A very teen hangout kind of place other than the bar (obviously). If you like to watch sports and drink then i'm sure this is a good place for you! Everything aside, it's a fun place to eat just make sure you go on payday. read more

Great, but a little pricey from the Jakes of the old days. A once in a while treat for my fixed income. No one seems to accommodate for that anymore. read more

Jake's was quite unsatisfying. First thing when I get there, I can already be blasted by the loud atmosphere due to the small space given. We eventually are sat at our table, and our waiter comes around. He was a young man, and when we were ordering kids meals for our children, he refused to place the order due to them being older than 12 years old. It was quite ridiculous, and after a couple minutes of arguing with the defiant young man, he finally allowed it. Lastly, we got the food, which was alright. I can't exactly state anything special about the food. Therefore, it was overall unpleasant, experience and the food. read more

Great food, nice atmosphere, Christian and Deon are extra awesome! Check it out. I don't know about other locations but the Sachse joint is fantastic read more

The servers were amazing and the environment is nice; the kitchen however, we needed a burger remade twice. My burger got remade once. As we were waiting for our order to be right, we heard another table also have a wrong order. Talked to the general manager and she was a very nice lady and we talked it out. If you're going to go here, wait until there's someone in the kitchen who knows what they're doing. read more

Great new option for Sunday Brunch. Definitely try the bloody Mary with jalapeño bacon! Ask for Erica she was so attentive and fun!

Do not go to Jake's because I don't want to wait in line again for the good service, food, and nice ambiance. Great customer service.

For a just opened restaurant they did better than alot of local establishments that have been around Sachse/Wylie for a while. Music was not blaring, I could have a conversation and understand my server when they talked. Kitchen was fast, food was hot, everything came out in a timely fashion. Our server JV was attentive and all the staff were helpful. Very happy to have a Jakes nearby finally, especially one that can pull off a grand opening this well read more
