I love this new addition to Briarcliff Manor. It's a pretty Indian restaurant with incredible food and very friendly staff. Highly recommend pretty much everything on the menu! My Aloo Gobi was a generous helping of delicious vegetables. My husband's Chicken Tikka Masala was "out of this world" to quote him. The Pakora was big enough to share as an appetizer and was honestly the best Pakora I've ever had. To put this in context - I'm from England where we really know our Indian food! The Lentil Soup was very delicious and the rice pudding tasted like ambrosia from heaven. The plain Naan bread was crispy rather than soft. Run, don't walk to this gem right in the heart of Briarcliff.

This restaurant just opened up in Briarcliff. How exciting to have an Indian restaurant in our neighborhood! The food here is really good! I had the Lamb Saag and I tried the chicken tikka masala which was fantastic! The service is really good and you can enjoy a really nice dine in experience here!

Prices are high which is sad because I would eat there at least 7 days a week. My wife makes me order the same 4 things every time we order from them, i.e., Lamb Saag, Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Samosas, and Naan Bread to dip into their psycho sauces. The wait for pick up is long and besides the high prices, this is an interesting option for the smallish Town of Briarcliff Manor, NY.

Chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, to die chicken biryani.

A new Indian place! So much good happening in this hidden gem Indian restaurant. Food was really tasted authentic and not watered down as they can alter the spices of sauce in your liking. If you love Indian food I would recommend going to this place. Food was so delicious and fresh. Can't complain either of their reasonable prices and big portions that we had left over to take away. Staff were really nice and attentive and the place was so cozy. A must go if you are craving good Indian food in the area. Literally a hole in the wall gem. and will definitely be coming back. Good job! Maintain the quality. Support this place.

Best Indian culinary experience for my family in a long while. Since I cook Indian food at home, I…read moream quite picky about Indian restaurants, and Mumbai Dreams blew our mind. What impressed us first was their friendly, efficient and thoughtful service. I believe the man who took our orders was the manager. When he learned that I was a dairy-intolerant vegetarian, he informed me that the two veggie dishes I ordered - Bhindi Masala and Smoked Baingan Bharta - both came with heavy cream but they could switch to coconut milk for an extra $2. Then he went down the list of our order to say that some other items also contained a bit of dairy. I figured that I could survive that much anyway. Although the restaurant sign says "creative Indian cuisine", we stayed mostly with the traditional and our favorites. Our order came very quickly. Arriving in a cute mini tricycle, the samosas were surprisingly plump and substantial. Two of those could easily make a meal for me. The Kure Kure Mushrooms were deep fried and coated with creamy seasonings, bus still retained the chewy bite and aroma of oyster mushrooms. The serving was so large, the spices so abundant that both husband and son said they'd resume this dish after our rice arrived. The meat-eaters were extremely happy with the Malvani lamb, while I was just as impressed with the two vegan dishes. Everything was cooked from scratch, retaining the fresh flavor and texture of the ingredients. There must have been a whole pound or more okra packed in the Bhindi masala, which was dryer yet tastier than what I'd experienced elsewhere, a truly honest value. Baingan Bharta is one of my comfort foods, and their version surely met my expectations :-) We loved their creative Rosemary naan, what a delicious fusion of east and west! The waiting staff kept checking our water supply and other needs. The bill was very reasonable. We are sure to come back for more!

We had a reservation for a party of six at 7:00 pm and were promptly seated and given water when we arrived. Unfortunately, that's where things started to fall apart. We didn't see another staff member for about 45 minutes. Eventually, I believe the manager came over and took our drink, appetizer, and entrée orders all at the same time. Our drinks arrived about 20 minutes later, and the appetizers started coming out intermittently after that. Our entrées didn't start arriving until around 9:00 pm, again coming out one at a time. Some people in our group were nearly finished eating by the time others received their food. We had also ordered naan for the table, but it was the very last thing brought out, at a point when some people had already finished eating and no longer wanted it. Throughout the evening, a young woman did keep our water glasses filled, but aside from taking our order, no one came to check on our table -- no one asked how things were going, whether we needed another drink, or acknowledged the long wait. The final frustration came when we received the bill and saw that a 20% gratuity had been automatically added. Considering the level of service -- at one point we were stacking empty cups on the windowsill just to make room for our food -- this felt pretty disappointing. The food itself was decent, but based on this experience I wouldn't return. One suggestion for management: if in-house service is running extremely slow, it may be worth pausing take-out orders so you can properly serve the customers already dining in the restaurant.

My husband and I came to dinner recently. It is housed in a large space (that used to be some kind of burger joint), with a semi-open kitchen, a full bar and lots of tables. For appetizer we asked for their chili cauliflower. For my dairy-intolerant vegetarian diet, the waitress patiently explained the ingredients of all the options, and we chose Mushroom Hara pyaaz and Martban ke Choley, a chickpea stew that came in a mysterious clay pot :-). The cauliflower was crispy batter fried, dowsed in a tangy sweet and sour and spicy sauce, truly tasty! The mushroom hara pyaaz was the champion of the meal - all familiar flavors yet unique and memorable - comfort and satisfaction rolled in one. The chickpeas were less well-cooked, a bit more al dente, than the usual Indian fare that we have been exposed to, but still very nice. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive, and the bill was quite reasonable. We'll definitely come back.

I wish to start the review by saying, this is a grocery store. Period done. Except it's not,…read morebecause as Google Maps and the URL here in Yelp told me, there is food to be had as well. So you will walk into a narrow Indian grocery, reminiscent of NYC, with 3 aisles and freezers/refrigerators on the walls. A small but wide selection of authentic Indian produce, spices, grains, and other ingredients to build your meals. Just be wary of others trying to walk the same aisles, as width is very limited. But that's not why I'm here. I'm here for takeout. And if you're like me, you'll want to turn to your right, where the checkout counter is. There's a menu posted to the glass at that counter, just like the restaurant: small but wide variety. Several items on this menu that I have not seen before, so we asked some questions and ordered different dishes to share. * Medu vada: Since we were not ordering bread, this was the appetizer. They're donut-shaped, bread-tasting, onions inside. Authentic. * Chicken curry naadan: My choice, similar to Varatharacha curry I was told, but spicier. It wasn't killing my tongue, but a nice balance of flavors overall. I wish the menu warned me that the chicken comes sliced, not deboned. So make sure you are prepared for the bones! (I do not know if you can request boneless. Something to consider next time.) It comes with rice, and you will need the rice for all the "gravy" (their words, I would say "sauce"), but no vegetables. * Beef ulathiyathu: "No gravy". Excellently seasoned beef, perfectly cooked. Again, no vegetables, but you get your money's worth of meat in this dish. Packed to the brim. Food gets 5 stars, service was nice (they were balancing grocery and restaurant duties, so we didn't disturb them with questions but I'm sure they would help anytime needed), but otherwise This Is A Grocery Store. With regular Indian clientele coming in for purchases, if they like it, I like it, so 5 stars wins. Thoughts for next time: Try the naan, get veggie appetizer, go for another of those dishes I haven't tried before.
