I'm in Wisconsin for work this week and i found this gem for my coworkers and i to eat at for out lunch break. It was a small cafe but our waiter was very nice and informative about any questions we had about the menu. The food came out and it was very fresh, we gave compliments go the chef! i got a basic breakfast platter with 2 sausages that were a great size and flavorful, my scrambled eggs were cook to perfections and so was my hash browns! I got a side of avocado and even those looked fresh and not brown and old. i'd come back to visit Jaimes Cafe if i was ever in town again! 11/10! read more

This place was amazing! Everything about it was great from the food, the presentation, the service...top notch. It is very obvious that Chef Jaime takes pride in what he does. Not only was the food delicious, but it was beautiful. And the service of Jorge was so friendly and welcoming. You would not expect a place like this in a little town like Delavan. I grew up in this town and come back to visit family every year and this will be a place we come too often now and I will recommend you o all our family and friends in the area. read more

Great service, friendly place. Wonderful breakfast and lunch options. Fresh squeezed OJ with the perfect amount of pulp (which in my opinion is not much). Fantastic bacon. Heinz strawberry jam, which actually tastes different- although not bad - than Smuckers. Fresh flowers from a local shop of the tables. The server brought us each an extra napkin with our silverware- it was nice not to have to ask. read more

Had the smoked sausage breakfast with an upgraded strawberry tres leches pancakes and they were very good. I loved the food and our waiter was great. What I did not like is that they added a 25% auto gratuity to our bill which I thought was rude especially since it doesn't say that auto gratuity will be added for a table of 2. It did not sit well with me being forced to tip 25% and being taxed for it when the standard is 20% which my friend and I would have been happy to leave. While I enjoyed our food I would not come back to this restaurant and would caution those who are looking to get breakfast. I also got a hot chocolate not a hot tea and on the drink menu it said hot chocolate was 2.95 not 3.79. Don't go here for breakfast their pricing is dishonest and confusing. read more

The service was horrible. Was there for about a hour before we got our food. No refills on water. Was told our food was coming by waitress 3 times. Never got food. Other people got their food but we didn't. Was our first and last time there very disappointing experience. read more

Food was good but service was extremely poor. Party of 2 not seated when booths were open. While we were told to wait for a table for 2 to become available there were at least 3 parties seated that came in after us. One had 5 people and another had 4 people and the other had 2 people. I was told the other party of 2 had been in earlier and that is why they were seated before us although we had been waiting for about 15 minutes. We almost left and there were 2 other couples that came and left while we were waiting along with a single person. The booth that we were not allowed to sit at, because it was only for groups, remained empty during the course of our dining experience, plus 2 additional booths became open, yet we observed parties of 2 being told they had to wait. Group seating was an obvious priority, but one of those groups did not get their food before us, and we were not seated until 5-10 minutes after them. read more

We live in the area and heard positive reviews of Jaimes Cafe since it changed owners. My wife and I have been here four times now for breakfast and enjoyed the food and service each time. Service is prompt and we've had the same friendly gentleman as our waiter each time. Special orders don't upset them - my wife loves their garden skillet - but she has it without eggs, cheese and onions. Without her asking, our waiter asked if she'd like a complimentary side dish of fresh fruit since she was leaving off the aforementioned ingredients - very nice and the fruit plate was outstanding. I'm not an egg eater myself so I've had their waffles and pancakes as well as their hash browns - all excellent. Outstanding service. One caveat - they have gotten busier as the word has gotten around so Sundays between 10-noon tend to be busy. read more

The staff has always been super nice but the last time we went, there was a hair found in more than one of our dishes. I don't post very many reviews but had to share this place. My wife and I had breakfast there this morning. It was almost 10:00 so we were the only ones there. The service was super! Very friendly and offered some options that were not on the menu. I had the "Popeye omelette". I have had dozens of vegetable omelets and skillets at many many different restaurants all over including Arizona and Florida as well as multiplicity's in Wi and I can truly say this was the the very best one I have ever had. Spinach, mushrooms, onions etc., all fresh and plentiful. Cooked to perfection! Hash browns and 2 pancakes (which were excellent) and great coffee that never ran out. My only regret is we live about 30 miles from Delavan, but we will make the trip back just to try other items and lunch some day soon. This is a fairly new start up for these people and it's not fancy but give them a try. read more

Jaime's is an awesome place to have breakfast at. My family and I were on a walk in the morning and decided to eat there! The food selections were the best that I have seen in a long time! They have crepes, pancakes, omelettes, sandwiches, and incredible service. The coffee was incredible, and is NOT the normal watered down coffee most restaurants offer. We had the honor of having Jorge as our server, and he was amazing. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be a weekly tradition. read more
