The Chana Masala was amazing with the Paratha was really good. Very good Indian food. Very up kept location with beautiful and clean interior. The restrooms are spectacularly clean. Only Con: We got a refill of coke and it was £18.00 total. Pretty pricey for just Coca Cola. Side note: We walked from Gatwick airport. If you are traveling from Gatwick, it's a 25 minute walk through dirt path with trees and bushes, you will see horses, etc. read more

If you ever got connecting flight from LGW and got 5-8 hours to spare. Check out this place it's very close by! I had the most amazing experience here. This Indian/Asian fusion did not disappoint! The service was great and the food was even better. Some of richest Indian food I have ever had. My tastebuds were having a party with every bite. This place closes from 3-6 pm. Fantastic Indian food. We were in London for only one night and fortunate to have found Jai Ho. Lovely, attentive service and delicious food. We had the veg thali, garlic naan and samosas. Sauces were spicy and fragrant. We will be back next time we are through Gatwick. read more

This place is very close to Marriott hotel. It is a very cozy place to dine and serves food Indian food. Dal makhani was really good. Lamb Kashmiri gosh tasted different but was not bad. Their naan and rotis were really good. The service is quick and the waiters are very warm and responsive. Matki kulfi was good too. The Chicken Vindalu was very good with just the right amount of spice. Add egg fried rice and chili Nan, and there you have 1 great meal. By the end, my brow was sweating. 5/1/19: Very lively and noisy. Obviously very popular with the locals many in big groups. Cozy atmosphere of a country pub with caring staff. A well run operation with very good food. I had chicken tika marsala, my usual bench mark test. It was excellent. As good as the best I've had. A spice that builds from super subtle, hardly there, to a perfect level without being "blow your head off" hot by the conclusion. Pilau rice was perfect. Chutney tray was more liquid than solid so that could be improved, but the flavors were good if a little too subtle. Papadums were not great. I thought maybe stale but that is difficult to fathom given how many are served. Hardly any spice. All together a very nice surprise to find Indian food that good and so close to Gatwick Airport. I walked from The Marriott but had to jump a fence and cross a very busy and fast road. I'll be back but may take a taxi read more

I used to be a regular in The Coppingham Arms when it was a true pub, lounge bar,Public bar darts and cribbage no juke box or fruit machines. When it changed to a restaurant I had mixed feelings BUT the Jai Ho has become a firm favorite. The only other indian restaurants I have been to ( and there are many) that come close are in Glasgow,bit too far to go for a quick meal. Top quality food, great unusual menu choices and warm friendly service Definitely a must visit. read more

The food was amazing. Although there is a big however and a big no-no for me that dropped two whole stars.... mandatory service charges! For only two diners?? ... as a rule of thumb, I'll always tip between 12-20% totally depending on the service, and the service was actually pretty good. But sorry, the second you start expecting services charges for a small table, you're going a little far, dish prices more than covered service charge. The place is beautiful and ambient. The service was good also although it was quite empty when we went. I did find it slightly pricey since the food was tasty but the curries weren't as flavour packed as we expected compared to other curries I've tried they were quite bland, the peshwari nan was delicious. The portions were ok but not filling so you end up having to order more food which makes the bill ultimately more pricey. read more

This restaurant is located under the runway and considering this is the case, it is actually rather quiet and didn't disturb the experience at all. The atmosphere in here is amazing and the food goes with it very well! With excellent food came some of the best service that I have had in other Indian restaurants in the past, they're keen to check that your food is hot enough and to your liking. This used to be a pub and now it's this wonderful Indian restaurant and it's nice and modern. The prices are not the cheapest around but you get what you pay for and we all know that quality costs a little more. Walked here from the Hilton at Gatwick. Very friendly staff. Fast to seat us. I thought the food was excellent. We had Lamb Vindaloo, chicken Marsala with rice and some garlic NaaN. I'm not from India so can't say weather it's authentic. But I've had lots of curry and it was great. Plus half the place was filled with Indian customers. Very good food and nice restaurant. One of the better ones south of the river. The salmon tikka was very tasty as was the fish curry. I would recommend it if you want tasty food. They also do fusion food as well as the normal curry. The biryani was really good and comes in a clay pot. read more
