My mum moved to West Sussex last year but for one reason and another , have only recently had the time to go out and explore.
Today marked my first ever visit to Chichester. We got off the bus near the Cathedral and had planned to wander round the shops and then stop off somewhere for lunch, and then do the Cathedral.
Well, we saw this cute little place and our plans changed. The window display was inviting and there was a spare table outside, so we decided to start our trip with a cupcake.
They had a wide selection and it was hard to choose. In the end , I had a Maltesers one and my mum went for lemon curd. To accompany the cake, I had green tea and mum had English breakfast.
The tea was loose leaf and was very nice. Some green teas can be a bit bitter but this one was very good. The cupcakes were really nice.
We noticed a sign in the window for cupcake decorating classes - a great thing for kids and adults alike.
I think this may only be a year old. It seems popular and hope it continues to do well. read more
