The service was first rate and the food was outstanding. I had a great breakfast with sausages and bacon with scrambled eggs cooked to perfection, served with toast and beans. It really hit the spot. I also had to try some of the pastries which also were incredibly delicious. The pastries are all handmade and you can tell they're made with a certain amount of love and pride. Spires is a local cafe with a small selection of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. It is indeed quite a cozy atmosphere. They also have a fabulous "to go" menu.
