The owner took the phone to inform me, a new customer, that she was 'uncomfortable' taking a PDF file for my job, graphics inset and fonts converted to outlines. I've been a designer and in print production at print shops for eight years - I know what does and does not work ripping to a press, because I've been the one who has had to deal with it when it goes wrong for a long, long time. Getting an 'I don't trust you' on the front end, directly from the owner, after unilaterally seeking this print shop out to start a business relationship was unprecedented in my experience. The images of their shop setup look solid - they might be a great bet for quality workmanship, but I can't know that.
