So cute! The minute I walked in, I walked slow so I could make sure I didn't overlook anything…read more Everything was cute!! They have cute little animal socks for babies and kids. I was trying to find a squirrel on one but there was none :0( Then they had these cute prints of animals painted in bright colors in silly things like a squirrel in an apron (but it was too expensive. It was like $28). And they had so many cards and quirky useful things like a toothpick holder shaped as a porcupine. They also have a baby section but it is very pricey. And there is a pottery section that had beautiful porcelain plates and other kitchen items that had designs similar to Ann Arbor's Garden store that recently closed. Anywho, if I need a gift, this is a great store to come to!

I took one step in the front door and just had to stop and look around. This place is awesome. So much to see and take-in. This is absolutely the perfect place to find inspiration for decorating, gifting or crafting. Fairie home and garden room. Candy kiosk. Every turn is something else. My words don't do it justice. You have to see for yourself. Bumble's has two locations. The one on Middle street is my favorite. There is also one on Main street that has more jewelry type stuff.

There seems to be something for everyone. * Old fashioned candies * Games and toys * Fabric and craft section * Housewares * Boutique with handbags, jewelry, etc. * Gifts * Baby stuff We were there to shop for fabric. There is a nice variety of fabrics, especially if you like "modern" fabrics by designers such as Amy Butler. There was a lot of embroidery floss and crochet and knitting needles. Books and patterns for quilt making. See my photos for a charming flag quilt that was hanging as a sample in the store. Great idea: Take a pre-stretched painter's canvas, stretch some attractive fabric over it, chunk it down with a staple gun, and voila -- instant wall art. The samples were very inspiring. I had a good look at all the games. Lots of mind-stimulating activities for all ages. Lots of fun stuff in this store, and the atmosphere encourages one to slow down and linger. At one point I said to my friend, "I really LIKE this store!" Nice selection of candies, including chocolates, jelly beans, penny candies, bit o' honey and similar treats from your childhood. Yum! I would love to go back and visit any time. A slice of old-time fun.

One thing: be careful about the classic candies, gums. I bought a pack of Teaberry gum last time I was there and it was hard as a rock...like it had been transported from the Sixties...
