Words to describe this place are charming, darling, adorable...and so many more sweet adjectives. After getting goodies at M Street my daughter wanted to shop here, glad we did. They have packed so many enchanting items into a small space you could look around for hours. One child loves fairy garden supplies, and they have many fun and unique finds. My other child loves jewelry, especially earrings. They had so many at all prices to fit your budget, from a few dollars to more elegant crystals and gems. They have a lot of great home and holiday decorations, plus a cute upstairs where they featured some discount items. I bought a couple little gifts and think this is a great place for find more gifts, especially for the holidays. I love this kind of boutique. This store was ADORABLE. What a fun place to lose yourself, while looking at little trinkets, games, jewelry and loads of other bits and bobs. Things were very reasonably priced--I snagged three super cute pairs of earrings for my niece for just over $30. read more

The cutest store and has so many lovely items. There was so many things I wanted to buy as they had the cutest sayings on them. My budget or house unfortunately doesn't need any more stuff. When I got married I knew this place did beautiful arrangements so I assumed they were expensive and went everywhere else first. Well, you know what happens when you assume! I was so disappointed with all the other local florists, they were expensive and didn't want to listen to what I wanted. After I sat down and talked to Kim I was so excited! And then I was afraid...of the price tag. Well, she quoted me HALF the price of the other florists! My flowers looked amazing, it's like she peeked into my brain and pulled off exactly what I had imagined! She even sent me with a whole bouquets worth of extra flowers. The store is also super cool. If you need a cool unique gift for your friend, mom or even for a baby shower, look here first! I would love to go on a shopping spree in there. I am EXTREMELY disappointed!! I went today with my mom and kids to support this business for The feast of St. Nicholas. I am believer in supporting businesses that support good traditions and beliefs. As soon as we walked in with my (4 kids) immediately the "owner" so she says she was gave us the cold shoulder. Number one...if my kids would have been naughty and touching stuff I would have left immediately!! But, they were awesome. They bounced a ball ONCE and I immediately stopped them. Other than that they were super good, not touching everything, just talking to each other and looking around at all the stuff. I was sooo fed up with the disrespect when I was checking out that I couldn't help myself but say something. Even my 8 year old said "I don't understand why she keeps giving us mean looks...we aren't doing anything!" I told her I wanted to speak with the owner and I was going to call back and tell her about our experience. The women told me she WAS the owner. If that is the case I have never had an OWNER of a business act the way she acted. I have never in my LIFE felt so uncomfortable while I shopped with my kids. She said "well, I didn't even say anything to you!" Guess what... actions speak louder than words. I will absolutely NEVER support this business again and I will TELL everyone I know about my experience. I didn't know kids were not allowed in this store ‍ At the end of my conversation with this women she felt the need to tell me she was a good person because she just filled a truck for toys for tots. Kim (owner of Carriage House Designs) can do anything! She can work up something wonderful for any budget. My wedding flowers were absolutely stunning. Kim recreated my Mother's bouquet from a picture of her wedding in 1980, but made a modernized version of it. It took my breath away! She was able to get red peonies for my winter wedding (I never thought I would have peonies in December) and arranged them beautifully for my bridesmaids bouquets. Kim is sweet, easy to work with, and delivers flowers that are high quality and beautifully designed. read more

This is the most fun and cutest little shop in Howell. I took my little 7 year old friend in their one day and she thought she was in fairy land. She can't wait for me to take her back. Carriage House is a beautiful, bedazzling boutique. However, the owner relies on several non-employees to help with inventory and things. In lieu of pay, she promises them gift certificates to use in the store. That would be great.....if she actually GAVE them to the people who helped out. I have heard many people say the owner entices them to come in and help, then when they leave, the owner pretends to not remember having to give them gift certificates.....very, very shady. read more
