He doesn't ever pay you what his website says that they pay for gold. He says that unless your selling him 15 grams you won't get that price. No wonder he's going out of business. He had some very attractive things to say about the price and after sales support on all things Rolex. Dennis alone makes this place great, and what a salesman. As I mentioned earlier, I was only window shopping, once Dennis and I started talking I knew I had to buy. My eyes settled on a pre-owned, now discontinued, Rolex Daytona ref 116520. Yes, it was pre-owned, but simply immaculate. We negotiated for about a week on the price, and he wouldn't budge. Finally I returned to 'just look' again, we talked. By the end of the trip I was sold on it. I'm now, unfortunately, the proud owner of a beautiful Rolex Daytona. One I hadn't planned to buy. Rottermond's website says they strive to be your jeweler for life, and thanks to Dennis (and whoever the cute blonde is) they've done exactly that. I don't know what the owner pays Dennis, but I assure you it's not enough. What a great dude, and what a great place. If you're in Brighton, and even if you're not, if you share a love for the Rolex brand this place is a must. Do yourself a favor and go meet Dennis soon.

The offer was reasonable, so we scheduled to meet in Brighton on Saturday at 11 a.m. I arrived just before 11, and he was not there. The sales lady called and spoke with him, when Dean informed her to tell me he was no longer interested in purchasing the Rolex as he already several. What a waste of my time. How inconsiderate. I guess I'm not alone in this feeling...after reading many negative reviews.

She was trying to support small business as we felt they would take more pride in their work and we have been shopping here for a long time (as well as our families). The worker took the ring and said it would be no problem. It took over 2 weeks and when we got it back the rings weren't even touching. My wife was so upset. My mother in law took the ring back in and they told her it wasn't possible to get the rings closer. We wanted to keep our business with them but they left us no choice. We took it down the street to F.A.O. Jewelers. They were in awe. We dropped it off yesterday morning and by 4pm today they had it done. Completely re-soldered and looks perfect. They made me aware that many people have had this same issue. Very sad. Hate to write bad reviews against small businesses and wish they could change my mind.
