Unique light fixtures made from glass pip[es and gages. - Two lamps with industrial design are positioned on a wooden table. The lamp on the left features a cage-like metal frame around an Edison-style bulb, with a gauge attached at the base. The lamp on the right has a perforated metal tube and visible piping, with a round base. Both lamps are made from black metal pipes and fittings, set against a background of a metal shelving unit with diagonal supports.

Really cool and interesting artworks business located in downtown Brighton on Mains St. The artwork carried by this business is very diversified and includes unique one off lighting fixtures constructed of gas pipes and gages (definately an eye catcher and conversation piece), Clocks made from automotive gears and moving timing belts, diversified collection of ceramic artworks, a multitude of paintings, tin/copper works, hand forged iron works, woodwork, hand made rugs, and the list goes on and on. The quality and beauty of the work is amazing and will be a a focal point and conversation piece in your home. This place is special and the artworks need to be seen in person to be appreciated. If you are anywhere near downtown Brighton this is an absolute must see business especially if you have any interest whatsoever in artwork and the creative skills of very good "local" artisan work. Five stars hands down!

The Artisan's Bench in downtown Brighton - The image shows the exterior of The Artisan's Bench in Brighton, MI, with large glass windows reflecting the street scene. The storefront has a brick facade and a prominent wooden sign displaying the business name. A circular sign with the business logo hangs outside, and a plaque is mounted on the wall near the entrance. The scene includes parked cars and trees, indicating a downtown area.

The Artisan's Bench is an absolutely stunning space located in the heart of downtown Brighton. I absolutely love any artisan store that showcases the insanely talented work of a whole plethora of artists & that is exactly what you'll find here! If you're in the area, this place is a MUST SEE! I have been to many shops like this, but The Artisan's Bench is so unique, carrying artists and vendors I have never seen before. When I was on my hunt for Christmas gifts last winter, I ended up buying so many things here for so many different loved ones in my life because their collection is just so eclectic, I love it! Perhaps my favorite part of The Artisan's Bench is the fact that they have a SECOND FLOOR also filled to the brim with unique, gorgeous goods from local artisans. This place is simply a paradise! Can't wait to come back and check out what new goodies are here for more gift inspiration & obviously to pick up a couple things for my & my house as well! :)

I hadn't been there before so it was really was like uncovering some beautiful treasures I hadn't been expecting to find. Oh! And the space has the most gorgeous flower mural on the wall! Sets the tone for the shop perfectly. For the holidays they had some really love displays featuring bottle brush trees, locally made ornaments (which looked like they were perhaps from Pewabic and Motawi Tile, though I may be wrong), other bits of Christmas decor as well as unique gifts like craft sets, textiles, some stationary/cards, etc. They also carry some really lovely baby gifts, some kitchen-y things, candles, glassware, home decor, bath and body care, seasonal goodies, houseplants and planters, and more. I loved browsing everything they carried and in the end I walked out with a few purchases, including one of the beautiful Christmas trees and a beautiful embroidery kit of peonies and other flowers as a gift for my aunt. My only wish is that I lived closer so I could come by more often. I highly recommend popping in whether your in town or you make a dedicated trip to purchase a gift for someone. You'll easily find something for anyone.
