    I was looking for a newer car and found this dealership on the internet. They had the INFINITY that I had been looking for, which had low miles and full service records. They had it priced good, and I inquired about it. Over the course of a week, Charles communicated with me and helped put together a deal. He was thorough and helpful. We made the 3-hour drive to the dealership on a Saturday and completed the sale. Charles and the rest of the staff at South Shore were super friendly and welcoming! This has been one of the best car buying experiences I've had. Whether you're in the Region or elsewhere, if you're in the market for a vehicle, check these guys out!

    Recently leased a new evoque and the process was efficient. Got a great deal on the vehicle and Luis, Jack and everyone was very helpful. I love that they do some additional cosmetic items to their cars such as rims, badges etc which cuts down on me having to do that outside of the dealership. Anytime I have had a question it was replied to fairly quickly and any tech questions were thoroughly explained to me. Overall they met my needs and I walked away with a great car! Can't wait to upgrade to a large one for my next lease!

I purchased a 2024 Dodge Ram 1500 expecting a dependable truck backed by a warranty. Instead, the truck spent months in and out of service at Victory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Merrillville with ongoing unresolved issues. Throughout this process, I experienced constant delays, uncertainty, poor communication, and repeated trips back and forth to the dealership. Although a rental vehicle was eventually provided for a period of time, the overall situation created major disruption to both my businesses and my family life. What disappointed me most was that after months of repair attempts, I was ultimately informed they would no longer continue repairing the truck or provide transportation assistance, despite the vehicle still being under warranty and not functioning properly. Giving me a nonoperational truck back is so unprofessional, and disrespectful. As a business owner who depends heavily on reliable transportation for real estate, property management, and lawn service operations throughout Northwest Indiana, this situation created major financial hardship, stress, and disruption. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a car/truck dealership I understand repairs can sometimes take time, but communication, accountability, and customer care matter -- especially when someone's livelihood depends on the vehicle. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and unsupported throughout the process. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!!!

Drew was our sales associate and was friendly and it felt like we have known him for years! We test drove the car and it looked and handled great, there was a light on the Drew said was probably a low battery because it had been in the show room for over 3 months. We talked it over and purchased the vehicle. By this time it was late Saturday afternoon and we had a 2 hour drive to get back home. We finished our paperwork and decided to stop at a restaurant to grab a bite before our drive home. When we finished the car wouldn't start because the battery was dead! So I called Drew and within 15 minutes he showed up with a new battery! He took the dead battery out and realized Autozone gave him the wrong battery. He apologized and headed off again, this time he drove back to Jabaay and grabbed a battery that was the correct size that looked brand new. He installed the new battery and put the trunk back together. (Yes, I said trunk!) Audi TTS has the battery in the trunk and it's quite the process to install a new battery! He stayed until we fired it up and no engine lights we on! We would recommend this Dealership and especially Drew to anyone looking for a quality used car. Low mileage, body in fantastic shape and I could eat off of the engine. Nice, no pressure salesman who even ran the CarFax for me. I could see that the car had never been in an accident and the maintenance record was fairly complete. Price was right-on and in my mind very good. It's been a pleasure to drive although we do store it over winter.

    DO NOT give this dealership your credit. Period…read more I filled out ONE credit application for ONE vehicle. My budget was clearly $10,000 or less. What happened next was insane. My credit was pulled OVER 10 TIMES. No heads up. No explanation. No consent. Ever. I just started getting inquiry after inquiry after inquiry hitting my credit. They even ran my credit for a $22,000 car I NEVER agreed to. I did not ask for that. I did not approve that. That is intentional abusive and potentially fraudulent behavior. This was not a mistake. They did whatever they wanted with my personal information. They violated my rights took advantage of me and damaged my credit which now affects my ability to buy a car somewhere else. That is real harm they caused. Because of this I had to freeze my credit and file follow ups with the credit bureaus the FTC and my pre approved lender. I will never do business with this place again. If you care about your credit do not trust these people with it. Get everything in writing or walk away.

They told me to make it right they would give me a dealer tag., when I go there the hand me a photocopy piece of paper because they don't want to lose the metal one. This place is shady shady shady I'm almost confident they didn't do my tax title and license at this point. Plus, I agree with other reviews they lie about conditions of vehicles when I bought it no codes appeared drove it away from the lot and all of a sudden, all the dash lights up needing service on every part of my Tahoe.

    Have you ever felt like you're not being listened to? Not once, but multiple times?! My lease was…read moreending and I wanted to purchase my 2023 Crosstrek. I have leased 5 other vehicles from various brands(1 Lincoln, 2 GMCs, and 2 Buicks) and this was the first time I ever loved something so much I wanted to purchase it. The saleswoman advised me that purchasing a new Crosstrek would be a lower interest rate and a better deal. This is the end of December 2025 and it was a 2025 model, the same color but a trim inferior to my 2023. I asked if there were any other options or if I could at least get a different color. The answer was 'no, this is it'. She continued to reassure me buying the 2025 was the better choice and reluctantly that's what I went with. I was frustrated as I had to settle for a lot less features and my payment and insurance went up by over $100 per month. I hoped I would feel better about it but I did not. The car had 19 miles on it at time of purchase. The ride was rough when I hit bumps from the time of purchase and I noticed a rattle coming from the rear when I hit bumps which started to get louder so I called service and had to bring it in for assessment. A few suspension parts in the rear needed to be replaced so I had to wait for them to be ordered. When I came to my appointment I waited an hour and a half only for them to come out and tell me they didn't have enough time to fix the car and I would have to make an appointment to come back next week. This was the tipping point for me because not only am I paying more for less, it's a car I didn't want and there's ALREADY something wrong with it before I even put a plate on the car or made my first payment. I had my 2023 Crosstrek for 3 years without a single issue, not even so much as a flat tire. I immediately called and spoke to a manager and told them my situation and they made an appointment for the following week. When I returned for the repair the next week I met with the sales manager to discuss my options. I told them my issue and how I wanted to purchase my 2023 back, but I also chose 2 other Crosstreks they had in stock that matched the trim level and color I wanted. After sitting around for hours they only ran the numbers for a Solterra which is an electric vehicle. That is a HUGE commitment and completely different from what I asked, a complete 180. Once again I was being told it was my ONLY option. They wouldn't even consider any of the 3 options I wanted. I was told the discounts and incentives they were offering knocked down the price the bank wanted to approve me for. I find this hard to believe because the Solterra was almost $10K more than the new Crosstrek I actually wanted, and almost twice as expensive as what they have my 2023 listed for. I was informed the monthly payment would be the same as my current loan, but I needed to make a downpayment 4 times the amount I told them I was comfortable making which I told them in the beginning of our meeting. I was told I had a week to think over the offer. The absolute kicker is that the loaner car they sent me home with while my new car was being repaired was the color of one of the options I provided(alpine green) and reiterated several times during our meeting I was leaning towards that option if I wasn't able to take my 2023 back. It was probably random, but honestly as rare as green is, was it really? Probably not. I suspect it was to throw it in my face. I am completely frustrated to more pay for something I didn't even want, and even worse something that is already faulty. I do not trust that this car will be reliable and safe to drive which goes completely against what the Subaru brand stands for. It was recommended that I just keep this car for at least a year and come back. I was told that I should just be happy I have a car. That sounds like something you would tell a bratty ungrateful teenager whose car they don't have to pay for.

Jeremy was very knowledgeable about the cars. My dad traded in his ford explorer. They gave him a fair price. While they were preparing paperwork, we got a tour. It's a beautiful new building. The service area was clean & huge. We will be back for any service the vehicle needs. Nice area to wait in also. Comfy chairs, tv, coffee.
