My love affair with manual transmission cars is not worth the cost of upkeep but thank G-d that Brad is there to fix older cars, so my passion survives. I needed a new reverse clutch fork on a manual Subaru which requires taking apart the entire transmission to get at the fork. You have to be real experienced to do that. Not just a new clutch kit. Go there and you will not be disappointed.

I told them clearly what my vehicle required but they dismissed my concern, saying they had "a better oil" and not to worry. Shortly after the service, my transmission started failing. It would go into neutral after 2nd gear, and eventually wouldn't shift properly at all. I've now had to disassemble the transmission valve body and found broken internal parts and serious contamination -- all consistent with using the wrong fluid. This is not just poor service -- it's negligence. Transmission fluid is not optional -- using the wrong one can destroy a gearbox, and that's exactly what happened. If you care about your car, avoid this shop at all costs. They don't listen to customers, they don't follow manufacturer specifications, and now I'm stuck with a major repair that could've been easily avoided.

Run away as fast as you can Had vehicle transmission rebuilt…read moresupposely with all new parts started having nothing but issues once finished transmission started not to engauge intermittently vehicle was back and fourth in shop over a period of about 5 months they supposedly replaced parts never received anything except their word i saw vehicle on lift no transmission in vehicle so i took thier word that parts were replaced but again issues started again they test drove vehicle and bam the issue i stated happen again you would expect after paying $7000. The transmission to last longer then 34k miles. And only offer a standard 1year or 12k miles warranty you would think the warranty would reset as the transmission was removed and parts were replaced but Nope they don't honor that type of work . Also you have to return vehicle 15 days after completed work in order to receive their 1 year or 12k mile warranty. I had the transmission flushed and both filters replaced approximately 5 months ago and was told the fluid looked good. I choose to flush anyway. Definitely won't be referring anyone to this place.

The original service was great but my engine light soon turn back on so I went back. From then on it was phone tag, being told things that didn't seem to be true, and being ignored. This went on for over a month and I now am having to go to a different place to have it fixed. Once I was originally able to get ahold of Jose to clarify what the plan was and him telling me he would be getting the parts needed for my car, I'd wait a week and hear nothing so I'd reach out again. I was again told things like well I got one of the parts but I need two, I was never reached out to be updated, and eventually that turned into him completely ignoring me. He stopped responding to my texts, wouldn't answer my calls or return my calls/voicemails. I was sent to him by the guy I bought my car from and had fully intended to use him as needed in the future. At this point I will never be returning to this place nor will I be recommending it to anyone.
