    Jalapeño bagel

Simple menu with just bagels and spread. Coffee and canned drinks. Good chewy texture.

Coworker brought in bagels as a fun Friday treat. This bagel shop is a no frills order up and grab & go! The service was good. The scallion cream cheese is yummy! Soft chewy inside with a harder exterior. Similar to hey bagels without the fuss!

Great place to get bagels in North Seattle! The highlight of this place was their scallion spread, the cinnamon sugar bagel was very interesting, my first time trying a sweet bagel. Overall, I definitely like this experience a little bit better than their other locations at toasted. Overall, I recommend and would come back.

A lot of people have recently been raving about these bagels. It's only a small takeout joint in Lake City. There are no in dining options. There's one person at the counter and they have a case and baskets of assortment of bagels. Let me begin to say that the bagels look fantastic. They're artisanal, rustic and absolutely inviting. We bought a half dozen with a small discount. Compared to other specialty bagels, they're a little bit cheaper. When you buy them, they're not as rigid as others which tells me they're moister inside. I lived in NYC 10 years , so I've had plenty of experience comparing and consuming bagels. When we got home, I tried them. I toasted it for 5 minutes. I had it only with cream cheese. Tasted good, great crust. It had a little tartness from the fermentation which I like. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 is because I found it a bit too chewy for my taste. I tried the cheese jalapeño and the Everything bagel. Chewier for me, makes it harder to chew. I've had Hey Bagels and it's less chewier. But Jaded Bagels look prettier.

New bagel place that just opened in Lake City. Very cute interior. I've already been here twice since it opened. There's free street parking nearby but just FYI it is a very busy intersection. They are a small walk-in so there's no indoor seating. Super friendly staff I got a plain bagel and plain cream cheese. Both were super tasty. I also highly recommend their chocolate chip cookie. Great addition to the Lake City Neighborhood

I was pleasantly surprised by Jaded Bagels. I found out about it through Infatuation Seattle's recent review. It's a small storefront without fuss and friendly service. Their pizza bagel was warm out of the oven, crispy and cheesy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Their scallion cream cheese had intense flavor. The chocolate cookie was buttery and chocolatey (and a smaller and more affordable option compared to the Met Market Cookie). Definitely a great quick option for delicious bagels and chocolate chip cookies.

Best bagel I've had in a long time. The cream cheese with chives was the star of the show. Customer service was on point the vibe were great. I'm going back to get the pizza and cheddar jalapeño bagel. The chocolate cookie is excellent also.

    Pizza Bagels!

The bakery and sales area take uo the entire ground floor of an unassuming house in a residential neighborhood. Clean, light and airy atmosphere with plenty of room to work. The metal shelves were superbly organized and packed full of bagels. Easy to get to by bus from downtown. Charming and cheerful staff. I went on a Saturday morning around 1030 and there was only a small line, which moved very quickly. This is not a cafe - you are here to buy bagels and the fixings. Okay, they also sell coffee and tea, muffins, and a yummy chocolate chip cookie. (Had to try one if I'm coming all the way from downtown!) Bagels were baked perfectly. Each one looks as if it was made individually- the level of detail of the flavors, rhe color, the texture. Nice chewy crust with a light interior. They toast up beautifully (at home - no slicing or roasting at the bakery). This is a bagel that says "hey, have another one" rather than the kind which lay in your stomach. I didn't try the spreads, but have absolute confidence that they would be marvelous. Worth every second of the 30-minute bus ride. Heck. Go out of your way to come here!

I arrived about an hour after opening, and there were two people ahead of me in line. Street parking was easy. The staff were welcoming and kind. There is no seating, and you will need to take your items to-go. The bagels are not sliced, and you can either rip and dip or slice them at home. I tried the plain, sea salt, sesame, and poppy bagels with scallion cream cheese. The bagels themselves are okay. The plain was my favorite, and the sea salt bagel was too salty for my preference. The chocolate chip cookie was absolutely incredible. It is definitely among the best in Seattle. The cookie had the perfect amount of sweetness, salt, and chocolate. It's definitely worth trying.

If…read moreyou try their freshly baked bagels (out of the oven within 30mins) then they are the best - soft, fluffy and flavorful, but if its been there on the shelf for couple of hours, then they are not that great - stretchy and too hard . Infact their staff also plays tricks, - especially one of their girls. Once I asked her if they are getting more of fresh bagels, she said no and gave me the bagels from the shelf. While giving me a bag, a new batch came out from the back, and so then she changed just 2 of the bagels, not all. Since this was my first time, I didn't really think much about this. For next few weeks I again went couple of times , some other people person were on the counter, who was gracious enough to always tell me that yes a new batch is coming up but I might have to wait for 10-15mins. I waited and every-time got warm bagels. After few weeks I again went, and the same first girl was there and I asked her the same question , she again said no, so I insisted if she can go back and check (it was just 9am only), she said it more firmly to me - "I am telling you there is no more fresh bagels coming in". So I took whatever she gave me from the shelf. While walking out , from the window I saw a big tray of fresh bagels came out. But since the line was long, I didn't want to get into the conversation with that girl, so I ignored it. This happened one more time recently as well. So not sure if that one particular girl didn't want to give me fresh ones or maybe she wants older bagels to sell before giving out fresher one, but since this happened 3 times, I am not impressed. I had also bought their bagels once from their pop-up market and it was also not that fresh. By the way, their small cafe has good ambiance if you want to sit there and enjoy their bagels and coffee right there. Whatever I write above, I will still keep coming back since they are my 2nd fav bagel shop in Seattle area.

On my most recent visit, I also tried the black sesame bagel with butter. It was good, but there was a bit more butter than I would have preferred, and the standard toast wasn't quite crispy enough for my liking. That's an easy fix though, and I'll just ask for it toasted a bit longer and less butter next time. I really love the location of this spot and am hoping to check out their other location soon. They share a great outdoor seating area with Sea Wolf Bakers and also have a small amount of indoor seating. There's usually a line on weekday mornings and a longer one on weekends, but it moves surprisingly quickly, so the wait has never felt unreasonable. One thing I especially appreciate is how light these bagels are compared to some other Seattle bagel shops. They have a great chew without feeling overly dense. Service has always been friendly and efficient. I still haven't tried any of their fish sandwiches, but that's next on my list. Until then, I'm perfectly happy sticking with a classic sesame bagel and cream cheese.

They'll make a smaller Seattle sized version as well for those who don't treat deli as an indulgence of rye and meat piled high. I wish they'd add kreplach to the menu (sorry Vance. I know my litany is old!) but I keep discovering new deliciousness here even after being a regular for nearly 4 years since my recovery from a life threatening illness, that I recovered from in part due to making regular stops here during my post surgical recovery. Just today I had the blintzes for the first time with their in house made cherry compote and sour cream. Amazing. Keep up the amazing work!!! My recommendation for newbies. Get the pastrami on marbled rye with gribenes and mustard. If you're feeling extra indulgent ask for a schmear of chopped liver, if you're keen on said. You won't regret it!

Look, you are at a farmers market on cap hill, we will ask questions as many people have dietary restrictions, if you can't be bothered, don't work in a front facing customer service role. Plus it's a liability to eat something, get an allergic reaction and connect it to a food vendor! People have been sued for less. We grabbed two salted bagels, an everything bagel and was not impressed. If you are at the Farmers market, go somewhere else to spend your funds because this was disappointing all around and no one needs to deal with customer service who are annoyed by customers.
