The food was so good that we lost interest in disciplining him and adjourned the meeting until the following week so we could get plenty of the lovely grub down our necks. Until about 2 years ago, this place was the go-to for all family events; birthdays, celebrations, exam passing etc.. and we have never been dissapointed, returning regularly for the lunch buffet when shopping in Hamilton. It is much smaller than China Buffet King and the likes but it is perhaps because of this that the food seems to taste much better and fresher. They always have a wide selection of dishes available and quite unusually for a chinese buffet, they have loads of puddings. They are always fully booked at the weekends so i would advise you to book early to ensure you get a table, especially if it is a big party. As usual the drinks are way over-priced but everyone seems to expect this when they visit a chinese restaurant! The lunch buffet here is about 8.00 and the evening menu is around 12.00 which is pretty good value for money. Definetly worth a visit if you are sick of the commercialised buffet chains in Glasgow.

We were seated at a table by a waitress who's English wasn't particularly good, and drinks were brought over. We were then told we can go up and help ourselves. Now I thought China Buffet King in town had a small selection of food, but this was ridiculous. There was maybe about 20 dishes in total over 4 areas, and none of them were particularly better than others. Dry, tasteless food for the most part, and when it wasn't tasteless, I'd wished it was. I'd never recommend CBK to anyone, but if it's there or this place, you should probably just stick to your chain.
