This is actually one of my favourite Chinese restaurants ever, tastes amazing. It has amazing variations of food: chips, seafood, soup, rice and noodles etc.. Best time to go in my opinion is lunch, if you go I would recommend the cream of chicken soup, It really lives up to its name it is extremely creamy and has such a strong, savoury flavour. To people who don't like strong flavoured food then I wouldn't recommend this to you maybe go for the other option like chicken noodle or have some sushi, for desert they have a large variety of cakes, jelly (jello), ice cream/ice lollies. Really did not enjoy this place whatsoever. My mum wanted me to come with her to try it as she quite likes it, and being a restaurant in Hamilton I hadn't tried I thought we'd go in for lunch. It's a buffet, and the set price for the lunch I think was £9.50 for an adult if I'm not mistaken. When we got in I was overwhelmed by the absolute tackiness of the decor. Pink, sparkles, baby greens, completely overdone table covers etc. 'twas all a bit over the top and tacky. We were seated at a table by a waitress who's English wasn't particularly good, and drinks were brought over. We were then told we can go up and help ourselves. Now I thought China Buffet King in town had a small selection of food, but this was ridiculous. There was maybe about 20 dishes in total over 4 areas, and none of them were particularly better than others. Dry, tasteless food for the most part, and when it wasn't tasteless, I'd wished it was. I'd never recommend CBK to anyone, but if it's there or this place, you should probably just stick to your chain. read more

Small Chinese buffet restaurant to rival the big chain ones in town. The décor in this wee restaurant is minimal and traditional and the staff are quietly pleasant, not pushy or in your face. The buffet selection has been carefully chosen to include stuff for everyone, which is great if you are taking kids as they have finger food like mini pizzas for them if they're fussy. My personal favourite was the sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style, which was gorgeous! The staff don't mind you going up as many times as your tummy can manage, but, as with other buffets, there is a surcharge for unnecessary wastage. Quite out of the way of the town centre, but on the bus route all the same so not totally remote. Definitely worth the wee trip, one of the best Chinese buffets around. read more

So I've been here twice. The first time was worse than china buffet King and the second was better. So therefore they receive a 3* review. Price is £14 per adult at night which is quite high and lower for lunch. read more

Great Restaurant - Food is first class and huge range of choices in main dishes and desserts too.

I had visited the Royal Blossom a couple of years ago and it was great. Unfortunately for me I recently recommended this restaurant to friends and colleagues who were looking for a good quality restaurant for us to have a group meal. Firstly I must say the young staff members were superb! I cannot fault the service from the young waiting staff at all. However the food at the buffet was uniformly lukewarm and some of the chicken dishes actually looked uncooked. The table cloth at our table had dried-in stains unconvincingly hidden by condiments and side plates. As I said, the young waitress who attended to us was very pleasant. However the attitude of management towards my group and (perhaps more disturbinly) towards the young waitress was frankly cringeworthy. The woman who appeared to be in charge made my group feel ill at ease about complaining. She spent a lot of her time just hovering at our table. Hard to explain but this didn't feel like she was doing this to be helpful. It felt rather intimidating as if she was simply urging us to finish so she could snatch our plates away.... which she did whilst 3 of my group were still eating. I am not in the habit of complaining, but this occasion certainly called for complaint. No effort was made to provide a clean tablecloth. The young waitress apologised when she was given the chance by her overbearing employer but it felt like she was unable to do anything to make the shabby situation better. On several occasions we witnessed staff being belittled and narked at by management. This added to the whole discomfort and disappointment felt by each member of my group (and it seemed other customers too) We most certainly will not be returning to the Royal Blossom, which is a great pity because it was once a first class establishment with great food and a lovely atmosphere.
