I didn't even stay for the massage!! First off I'm a certified massage therapist and thought I'd give this place a try. My wife and I entered the establishment 15 minutes before our appointment. 5 minutes prior a lady came out looked at us and never acknowledged us, no introduction. Usually this is the time for hellos and Intake forms. 5 minutes after our appointment is supposed to happen no one has helped us and two ladies are going back and forth, not mentioning anything to us. That was very uneasy. I had to ask if there was a problem, because we weren't helped and no one was telling us what the delay was. Finally 10 minutes after our appointment time, someone tells us to come with them, but by this point I feel disappointed. Yet we follow, giving them the benefit of the doubt. We are put in a room and the lady just closes the door behind us. No instruction, no communication. That was the breaking point. My wife and I just left. As a professional massage therapist, I'd never make my client feel this bad. They Definitely gave massage therapists a bad name. I was surprised by how clean and organizes the facility was. The have several private rooms for individual and couples massage. The ambiance was peaceful, parking was easy and the foot massage itself was very good. Im definitely going back to try the full-body service. read more

I have been going to Jade Spa for years. Their facilities are clean and health and safety protocols are followed. You can't beat their prices even with the recent increase. As mentioned in other reviews you try a few out and find the masseuse that fits your needs. My 5-star review goes to Katy she gives an outstanding deep massage. read more

Unpleasant experience. Unethical. Unprofessional. Dishonest. Be AWARE! Sorry for the long comment, wanted you to have full picture. I was very excited to have found this spa. I had no idea it was a new location (Danville, Blackhawk Plaza). I was pleasantly surprised as per their pricing I expected they may not have a great look and feel. Nevertheless, I made the appointment same day. I was happy they could fit me, initially for 60 mins but received a call that theye we're available for 90 mins. I called them so they knew I was running late by 10-15 mins and they confirmed no problem they fit me for same appointment. Upon arrival once again they confirmed if I still wanted 90 mins, I said yes that would be my preference (not once did anyone tell me they were busy and could not commit to 90 mins). As I was being taken to the room, I asked for cup of water since I was dehydrated (easy request, would not think someone would hassel you for a cup of water). She brings me the water, and I should have caught #1 because as she handed me the water she needed to emphasize that she would have provided water to me at the end of the massage. Hmm . Next, I told her that I am coming in because I have mid back thinking it was a knot so I told her please focus on my back mainly. I noticed during the massage she kept working on my arm and full body and spent less time on my back, neck, and shoulders. I made sure I re-express this so she would re-focus on the area of concern to remedy. I remember her saying, you should come back in a week or two. Here is #2, we have alot of time here now why would she just not focus on the part that I need the most support for all of the 90 mins. Hmm . I will say the message was good for what it was. I felt relaxed and good. Ignoring signs that she was not very curious and professional as I was pleased to have the opportunity for this experience, during the current times. Nevertheless, she said your all done, and I was surprised as I felt as though it ended too quickly. I asked, was that 90 mins, she confirmed "yes". At first, I was not going to look at my watch or phone, since I took her word for it, but something told me just have a quick look at your phone. So I did. I was surprised if I got in the room 15 or so mins after the hour and we are at half past the next hour. Then she knew there is a major gap and brushed over it. Imagine, after a relaxing message you don't want to deal with a dispute, at all. But I had to raise this since it's a blantant lie. I did, this is when things get interesting, she acted dump like she could not understand. I was very nice explained when I got in the room, etc....the she proceeded to confirm my suspecion. I'm so busy, no time, etc. Unreal . The truth always comes out. I said okay so where do we go from here. There were other people and I am dealing with a liar. She then proceeded to nickel and dime the time spent, her proposal: I charge you for 90 min and next time you come I give you 15 min. This did not seem right to me, at this point I just wanted to get out of there, enjoy my Sunday. So I paid the 90 min, I really did not want to tip but being fair I did (the epic mike drop), she proceeded state that my tip was not sufficient. Wow did this just really happen. I tiped her based on a 90 min massage which I did not get, hassel in the process, etc. Plus to be lied too. And now this. I have no words. Honestly getting a tip is a reflection of the service, so should have not given her anything. Shame. I will never return. If you want to run a good business, at least run it fair. Ensure it's based on good ethics and business practice. This person which I will not name, is a deteminet to the business. This person is not new and had been with this company for many years. I can assure you this is not the first time nor the last time. I want to support and go to business, that is based on honesty. And I can not deal with such nonsense. read more

I don't know why this place has such low ratings. I have been going to Kim for awhile and she is amazing and always relieves my muscle tension and aches and pains. Although it does help if you speak Chinese but either way the prices at this place are very affordable and the service isn't bad. read more

I have been going to Jade spa for over two years consistently, two times a month. I love this place as I feel they give the best massages. I spent hundreds of dollars on high end spas and end up being frustrated in the middle of my Massage due to my masseuse not listening to my needs. Yes, Jade day spa is run by Asians that don't speak great English, but they try and you're able to at least express your needs. I've read so many negative reviews saying how their staff isn't friendly and doesn't greet you with a smile when you walk in. I believe this is a cultural thing and you will need to get over that if that's what you're looking for when walking in to this place. I have been seeing Jason for over a year now and he is kind, attentive, responsive and gives a damn good deep tissue massage! read more

I made a reservation 3 days ago for today at 4pm via telephone with man at company. This AM I called and again confirmed my 4pm apt for today. At 4pm, I arrived at Jade and the 2 front desk employees spoke almost no english and told me that I did not have an appointment and showed my their computer screen that confirmed it. This place was like a business should be. They show respect to the customer, like they want your business. I had a massage within someone new, because my usual therapist was booked. Jack was polite and thoughtful. It didn't take long before I was drifting into a haze of serenity. Jack provides a massage with attention to muscles and tissue with a harmonic flow, there is no stumbling from one area of the body to the next. I tipped Jasmine after my recent massage, and her response was, "That's all?" And, "It should be more." I tipped her 17%, which was the cash I had on hand. The massage was just ok- hard, a lot of using her forearms. I might have tipped more next time... but instead, I'll never be back now. Jade just lost a customer! read more

I was visting my mom for a few days and came upon this spa while walking around Blackhawk Plaza. I made an appointment online, which was easy enough. I showed up to my appointment and went up to the front desk. There were three ladies at the front desk, either on their phone or on the computer. They didn't say a word to me or even look up. I just stood there and waited. After a minute or so, since no one seemed to noticed I was there, I said "Excuse me, I have an appointment." The lady at the computer asked me my name and then sent me back with the massage therapist. I got in the room and the massage therapist just left and closed the door. She didn't say anything to me, like go under the sheet face down or anything. The actual massage was pretty good, not as good as I've had for deep tissue, but pretty good. After the massage I went to the front desk to pay, and again the three ladies (one was the massage therapist) were just on their phones not paying any attention to me. Again I had to get their attention and ask how much. I paid and tipped 10% since their customer service was so bad, and the massage was just pretty good. I then asked to use the restroom. The massage therapist just pointed to the back without saying a word, or smiling, or anything. She barely looked up. I used the rest room and came back to leave. That's when they finally spoke to me. As I was opening the door, she told me that I need to give more tip. I usually tip 20% for a massage even if the massage was average if the customer service was good. But like I said, the customer service was so bad, and the massage was only pretty good. I have never ever had someone tell me that there is a minimum tip! That was the icing on the cake on their rudeness. I will never go back. My mom goes to the Jade Day Spa in Danville on Crow Canyon and likes that one. I should've gone there. read more

My experience here was simply okay. The massage itself was great and my mom and I had great massages! The staff was nice and good at their job. The facilities were kind of loud and they didn't do a great job of being quiet while we were relaxing. The strangest part was, we were paying for our massage, and the receptionist reached over the desk while my mom was signing the check, and she REQUESTED a 25% tip!!! My mom was giving 20%, which is customary, and she reached over and asked my mom to do 25%!! read more

Booked a last minute deep tissue massage today and Coco took care of me. She has some strong hands! I've had many deep tissue massages but she really got into my back. She was very kind and just did such a great job. Because of Covid, the massages are taking place outdoors. Clothes stay on and they put a sheet on top as a Covid precaution. Made an appointment at Blackhawk three days prior. Called to confirm my appointment two hours before the appointment. Arrived at the spa, waited 10 minutes and there was nobody in the lobby. I called the phone number I confirmed with and he said to give him two minutes. Then a lady walks out and it looked like she woke up from a nap, and she asked if we had an appointment. I said yes we had 2 one hour appointments and she spent three minutes looking at the computer. Finally I asked do you have anyone available? She said no. And that was that. I went here for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. This is best Asian massage place I have been to. The place is very clean and the massage table is heated like at fancier American massage places. The massage was great and very relaxing. The price is comparable to other Asian places but the facilities were way better than I expected with nicer linens and a great massage table.
