I ordered prescription glasses back on June 11 they cost almost $800 told me will be ready in 2 weeks we're in August still did not receive them went there 3 times they're excuse my lenses are on back order they don't even have the audacity to call their customers and tell them what's going on very unprofessional customer service I even disputed the amount I paid them got my money back thanks to my bank they even treat their customers with arrogance like oh we told last time you they're on back order like you have to check on your order one of the workers there and have a nurse scrub on she's a real bitch really bad place don't even recommend this place to anybody you really care about read more

Extremely incompetent staff. Very unprofessional all around. Also dirty, Been in cleaner bathrooms at a gas station. One star is too much to give. I Was seen and recommended cataract surgery. Went to a surgeon and it went very well. I make an appointment as a follow-up and was told my insurance didn't cover it. My Ins did cover the initial visit and the surgery. After making me wait 45min because the incompetent staff member forgot to check me in. Then I'm told they need to speak to my ins company. Made me another appointment as they were supposed to straighten it out, Knowing the incompetence of the whole establishment I checked before my appointment and was then told I would have to pay cash. My ins is stellar and have never dealt with this level of unprofessional treatment. And the overall place was dirty. I've seen cleaner bathrooms in a gas station. I would seek any other Eye care than this place. If I could leave -stars I would have. read more

I have been going to Dr. Jacobsen for several years now and have never experienced any issues until my visit this year. First, her employees did not charge my insurance properly and asked me to pay full price for the service. Upon contacting my insurance, I found out that they hadn't charged my insurance at all. I contacted the office over 10 times to get this issue resolved. They finally charged my insurance but would not give me my refund for over two months and after giving my card information multiple times. Finally got them to give me the refund months later and they gave me the excuse of "it's been crazy here." . Dr. Jacobsen has incredible professionalism, however, the staffing makes the entire experience frustrating. Its not worth the hassle - I recommend finding an office with more professional staffing, I'll be doing the same. read more

My husband and son had an eye appointment on the same day and ended up waiting over an hour. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and keep my appointment. Big mistake. After waiting 20 minutes I was told that it would take another 45 before my appointment started. This place is obviously scheduling too many people at a time with no concern for how long they make people wait. read more

My husband and I both went to Dr. Alma Jacobsen today for our annual eye exam. She is truly amazing, simply the best at what she does. We've been to other eye doctors but Dr. Jacobsen's the Best. She's very punctual and always takes us in immediately. She takes her time, answers all of our questions and never rushes us out. Her staff is also very courteous and helpful. It is always so easy and quick to make our appointments for our annual eye exams. Dr. Jacobsen's office is so spacious, clean and organized and she has a large play room for children. There's no quality control with their work, the staff just doing what they wanted. I already paid my orders 8/13 cause, its hard to go back with the situation right now. I asked them to check with the insurance if my dependents have same benefits on the additional protection I wanted on their glasses, and to call me before proceeding with the orders. The staff personnel proceed with the order, and LIED to me that my dependents doesn't have the benefits. And every time, I called that's when its moving forward with this order. I just called 9/16, they haven't place the reorder cause, they having an issue with the computer system. They didn't call the insurance to communicate with the issue. No one is double checking their staff, if they encountered any issue for the customer's order, days...months just goes by. One thing though, the Dr. called me back, she didn't check what's going on with the current order before calling. All she's telling me, my benefits will not be available until next year. She doesn't even knew what's going on with her office, come to think, she have a lot of staff personnel, the "Optical Representative" is lazy (who proceed with the order and lied to the customer). There's no supervisor on her staff to do quality control, to check if each customer's order was made, if encountered any problems, and follow through until resolved.... Good luck to you, your staff personnel will just bring you down cause, of irresponsibility. read more
