Terrible handling by office staff, both during the appointment and in billing. Would not recommend.

Epstein was great at explaining the pre and post procedure process as well as the surgery itself.

I will preface this by saying Dr. Phillips is a very smart doctor, and trust me when I say he knows…read morewhat he is doing. That said, his office is very poorly run. It can take up to a month to get an appointment and do not be surprised if you get a call a few days before to let you know that he has to reschedule. This has happened to me twice. Once you finally get to the doctor's office, you may wait an hour or an hour and a half to see him. It's really quite unacceptable. Getting through on the phone is also difficult. Do not be surprised if you are told to hold and forgotten about for 15 minutes. Do not be surprised if you go in to get test results and are told that they have not scanned the results in yet. Do not be surprised if you leave a message for an emergency and they never receive or check their messages. You may speak to one assistant who will tell you one thing and another assistant who will tell you another. There is very little regard for your own personal time. I've seen one patient demand her copayment back because the wait time was too long. I understood her frustration. Overall, his office is extremely disorganized and while he is a good doctor who knows what he is doing, I think that his office needs to have a serious restructuring.

I visited this office for the first time in may. I assumed it would be a general exam as the ones I…read moreget each year. The Dr. is knowledgeable. my experience with the staff is quite different. my eyes were dilated at the appointment( it was my first time getting this done). I wanted told I would be dilated nor was I informed I should have come work someone or given those fashionable disposable glasses people wear. you was I shocked when I couldn't see a thing when I left. I couldn't see enough to go back up to the dr. office or find my car so I managed to call a ride to pick me up. not cool( in my second visit I was told by another patient that the same thing happed to him with his visit.

Take it or leave it…read more Other reviews are saying it already and still I am here because we got our glasses from here last time. The staff probably is under appreciated and that is why they behave the way they do - from the front desk to back. Hence I am leaving some love here with 4 stars so the owners and management and give some love to their staff and in return the customers can be treated well. Cheers all

I was just there today around 12:17PM for 12;30 appointment. There was another patient in the…read morewaiting room, who was listening to some kind of podcast on his phone, which was pretty loud. He was a black guy in his 40s or 50s with glasses, wearing brown t shirt. I nicely asked "Would you mind muting the sound, there's too much noise around here between office music and multiple receptionists talking to patients". This guy went off, told me this is free country, it's America, and I should read the Constitution, and refused to turn it down. I said I was just asking for courtesy in a public place, and he said I was mentally crazy. At this point, he looked pretty aggressive and threatening. He said if it's noisy, go tell the receptionists to be quiet, which was a nonsense. I felt unsafe, and judging by his demeanor, he might follow me when I leave the office. I talked to the doctor, receptionists and other employees there that I didn't feel safe, and found out this guy is a regular patient and is quite aggressive toward female employees there too. The office manager needs to do something about this guy. If I see this guy next time I visit for the eye exam, I'm gonna leave with the exam. Do not want to be in the same place with someone like this, feeling unsafe. I feel sorry for female employees who need to put up with him.
