I stopped at Jacob's Beer, Biscuits & Pickles in Terminal 5 -- the JetBlue terminal at JFK -- during a layover and ended up really enjoying my experience. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine while waiting for my connecting flight. The service at the bar was friendly and attentive, which is always a win in a busy airport. The only downside -- and probably no surprise for any airport traveler -- was the price of the wine. A 9 oz Canyon Road pour was $24, which definitely made me blink twice. Airport pricing... yikes! But at least everything else made up for it. One thing I really appreciated was that the menu wasn't your typical generic airport food. As someone who loves biscuits and pickles, this spot immediately drew me in. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken & Biscuits, and it was delicious. The chicken breast was fried perfectly -- crispy, flavorful, and piping hot -- served over a biscuit drizzled with honey and topped with chopped pickles. It came with classic waffle fries, and the entire dish arrived incredibly fast. Overall, it was a bright, tasty surprise for an airport meal and far better than the usual grab-and-go options. Despite the predictable airport drink prices, I'd absolutely stop here again for a satisfying bite between flights.

The Jacob's pickles located in JFK was convenient to order on the kiosk before catching an early morning flight. My order was ready shortly after I placed it. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit with home fries. The fries were good but the biscuit was dry and was more like cornbread instead of a biscuit. I didn't finish the biscuit.

Burger was dry, maybe try medium?

I can't complain about the menu, because it has the word Pickles in the name of the restaurant, but if you hare Pickles, steer clear, lol. I had the burger with cheese and an onion ring on top. Very dry. Waffle fries were good. Husband loved his classic macaroni and cheese.

We were flying out of JFK Airport on Friday morning and every food place was very crowded so we decided to give this place a try. It was also busy but we got a table after a few minutes wait. The menu has several biscuit breakfast sandwiches as well as a few omelettes. I opted for the ham egg and cheese breakfast biscuit with waffle fries. Everything tasted great. My husband had the vegetable cheese omelette with waffle fries. He also loved the food. The music was also good.

This Jacob's Pickles doesn't have the same quality as their location in the city. We came exactly at 5am when they opened and got cold over-fried fries and a mediocre breakfast sandwich. No sausage gravy at this location either. Prices were standard for the airport and service was okay.

My server Danny was super friendly! There was some sort of launch party going on today and there was a very loud DJ outside but despite all of this my drink and my sandwich were really really good. I was actually shocked it was so tasty for airport food. Highly recommend!

The bbq smothered fried chicken is slammin'! So good, ask for extra sauce if a little skimpy.. the waffle fries were so delish too! Yum yum.

So far one of my best Airport experiences I have never had. I wanted breakfast, but and this breakfast like a few minutes so I was getting ready to leave the hostess told me more about the food and I decided to stay. The service is impeccable even though you're in the airport I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with pickles delicious!!! along with hot tea & water - lunch couldn't have been better. Geraldine delivered exceptional customer service.

Had an early flight to catch at JFK airport, we needed to grab some breakfast. Place was crowded and buzzing with people. They took about 25 minutes to produce 3 breakfast sandwiches and a drink. The timing wasn't great and the prices were a bit pricey But the taste was up there. The breakfast biscuit was cheesey, had a great yolk, and was on a buttery biscuit. The fries were crispy but I think because we had it to go it became slightly soggy. They don't give sauces to go unless you ask. I did try there orange juice it was mid, nothing spectacular. It was a great option but not a less expensive option. But when you're traveling and on vacation I wanted to spurge a little. Might come back again the next time I travel

We have been crazing seafood boil lately and ordered from here twice in the last few weeks…read more One of our fave seafood boils in queens. Been either dining in or ordering take out ever since they opened the Rego Park location. Service is always friendly and amazing either dine in or take out. Take out is super easy. Order on line and you can even accumulate points for a future discount. They also deliver for free and its pricing is better than the online ordering services. We ordered 1lb each of the shrimp with head, snow crab legs and craw fish. We love the oceanic sauce but also ordered on garlic butter with old baby cause the little one loves it. You can also pick the level of spiciness. Only drawback is, seems like there's less sauce and the sauce is very watery compared to before and my kids love dipping the seafood back in the sauce and coating their rice in the sauce. We love the mango pina colada with a kick and the virgin option is always a treat for the 21 and under. They even sent an extra drink today since they made an extra by accident. Thank you!!!

I was able to pickup relatively quickly without a long wait. The restaurant is dim and a bit loud but seemed like a good place for groups and couples. As for the lobster roll, it came with a small side of corn and a generous amount of cajun fries. The roll itself was decent with a respectable amount of lobster (more than Luke's for comparison) but I wish they went with a more traditional mayo dressing than the cajun dressing. But overall I would order it again.

The pasta was a bit under cooked and lacked flavor, there wasn't enough sauce. We ended up asking for extra sauce which our waiter never gave us. My dad ordered the ribeye with a side of mac and cheese and absolutely enjoyed the ribeye. The Mac and cheese was not good, just tasted like pasta with cheese sprinkled on top. Service was good throughout but could have been better. We ended the night with some tiramisu dessert, which was really good and good to share!

Which unfortunately means we usually end up ordering more than we can finish but that just means we get an extra meal right? There was a small wait of about 10 mins but it's nice because they take your number and send you a text when your table is ready. We were given water and bread right away and our waitress offered to take our drink order if we were ready. We started with the warm crab dip and spring roll sampler, which both came quickly which was great because we were hungry. I opted for the cheeseburger french dip and my girlfriend chose the pasta lunch special. Both dishes were great, service was excellent, and the meal was very enjoyable. Do not forget to save space for cheesecake. Cheesecake factory can be a bit loud, but that is what is expected from their large family style atmosphere. They have many types of cuisines and even more types of Cheesecakes. This is a great restaurant to put into your eating-out rotation of options.

Next time we stopped by for brunch, we got the bottomless option tried the Sangrita white, good sangrita price wise makes sense assuming u drinking more than 3-4 glasses a person. On the food Carnitas Benedict & short rib hash were both very tasty. For dessert gave the Tres Leches a try not bad, just the right amount of sweet. Another brunch visit & we tried Paloma spritz, good & Mexican coffee, pretty strong in taste. Chicken & waffles topped with bacon, very good chicken good combo dish. & the Lady's enchiladas great taste the enchiladas w the green sauce & cheese on top. This place has been around for some time, happy we discovered it recently overall good vibe, food & drinks, we will continues to visit from time to time.

While waiting I checked out the restroom and found it unpleasant. Thinking I'd have my food ready by the time I returned and no drinks and no food yet. The waiting continues - 4:30 I finally get our drinks; had to send the marg back - I think they forgot the alcohol in it. Still waiting on food; one hour later after being seated - still waiting on food. I mean if this is how Dallas BBQ wants to present themselves there's certainly much room for improvement. Food quality was great, my steak was cooked to order; shrimp and ribs were hot and delicious. Just needs some improvement in order taking and getting the drinks out as fast as possible. That would make a huge difference in the experience. Ambiance was fine; it was comfortable and the music was decent elevator noise. Things I'd like to see improved - times between first touch to customer - once you get the drink orders and bring the drinks be ready for the food order. Don't take forever to speak to the customers about their needs. Definitely would be a 3 or 4 stars if service was faster. Maybe we just had a newbie waitress
