While waiting for my recent flight at JFK I saw they have a Jacob's Pickles here. It's in JetBlue Terminal 5 at JFK. Good spot to have a tasty breakfast biscuit sandwich, fried chicken and biscuits, or a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Full bar to sit at and have a beer or cocktail, some counter seating along the open window area, and tables on the outside to eat and people watch while waiting for your flight. There are also a few order and pay kiosks by the entrance. It's quality eating and a nice step up from the normal airport food offerings, but also expect to pay airport prices. read more

Might be the only sit down restaurant open in terminal 5 right now, but even if the line looks long... it moves fast. The employees are great at moving everyone through and getting people seated. Food came pretty quick. Mac and cheese was more just Mac smothered in some melted cheese. The biscuit chicken sandwich with the creamy bbq sauce was really tasty, but biscuits crumble apart so hard to eat. Also added bacon, was supposed to be 3 strips but was just some crumbles - pass on that! Honestly, this was a four stars for airport food, three for any type. read more

Hostess at this location on 5/9 was extremely rude. We waited in line for approximately ten minutes, and she then shoved menus at us and curtly blurted out "table in the corner" and walked away. (There was no available table in the corner.) When we asked for clarification, she looked at us like we were stupid--and pointed at two chairs at the end of an occupied hi-top that hadn't been cleared off. I stopped at Jacob's Beer, Biscuits & Pickles in Terminal 5 -- the JetBlue terminal at JFK -- during a layover and ended up really enjoying my experience. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine while waiting for my connecting flight. The service at the bar was friendly and attentive, which is always a win in a busy airport. The only downside -- and probably no surprise for any airport traveler -- was the price of the wine. A 9 oz Canyon Road pour was $24, which definitely made me blink twice. Airport pricing... yikes! But at least everything else made up for it. One thing I really appreciated was that the menu wasn't your typical generic airport food. As someone who loves biscuits and pickles, this spot immediately drew me in. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken & Biscuits, and it was delicious. The chicken breast was fried perfectly -- crispy, flavorful, and piping hot -- served over a biscuit drizzled with honey and topped with chopped pickles. It came with classic waffle fries, and the entire dish arrived incredibly fast. Overall, it was a bright, tasty surprise for an airport meal and far better than the usual grab-and-go options. The Jacob's pickles located in JFK was convenient to order on the kiosk before catching an early morning flight. My order was ready shortly after I placed it. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit with home fries. The fries were good but the biscuit was dry and was more like cornbread instead of a biscuit. I didn't finish the biscuit. read more

I can't complain about the menu, because it has the word Pickles in the name of the restaurant, but if you hare Pickles, steer clear, lol. I had the burger with cheese and an onion ring on top. Very dry. Waffle fries were good. Husband loved his classic macaroni and cheese. read more

We were flying out of JFK Airport on Friday morning and every food place was very crowded so we decided to give this place a try. It was also busy but we got a table after a few minutes wait. The menu has several biscuit breakfast sandwiches as well as a few omelettes. I opted for the ham egg and cheese breakfast biscuit with waffle fries. Everything tasted great. My husband had the vegetable cheese omelette with waffle fries. He also loved the food. The music was also good. read more

Easy and good spot to grab a drink and bite in the Delta terminal. Nice service at the bar and the biscuits were quite hefty! If you like fried food, and mac & cheese, and $24 drinks this is definitely the place for you. We shared the patty melt which had two small hamburgers on it a few sliced pickles on the bottom with some spicy sauce and some lukewarm waffle fries for around $25. We had two glasses of wine and the bill was around $80. As of April 2026, it's the only sitdown restaurant open in terminal five at JFK. Everything else is under construction. Highly disappointed in the service! Whoever the manager is, either doesn't care or there isn't one. At about 10am on a Monday, we waited by the host stand for over 15 min, no host present and numerous servers walking past the long line forming with no acknowledgment. It definitely not as busy as you would think for such slow service. The server who finally sat us, she was rude. Our actual server was okay but couldn't remember orders. The bar was slow to pour wines, at least 10 min in between. We actually bonded with our neighboring tables over the poor service. The space is beautiful and the prices are nice and great food, so you would expect great service, but that is where they severely lack. Nice spot to catch a sit down lunch at the JetBlue terminal - a good deal of seating in it's own restaurant, convenient location near the hub connecting all JetBlue gates. The hot honey fried chicken sandwich was amazing - perfectly crisp, juicy and flavorful. There's a great selection of biscuit sandwiches, Mac and cheese, and appetizers. Area is a bit loud due to the live dj playing in the hub, and service can be a bit less than responsive (eg getting napkins to go with a messy sandwich), but overall food came out fast and price wasn't out of line for the quality. Well, this is the worst food I've had at this terminal. I threw it out. Fried chicken? Please. This was like a piece of cardboard with mushy paste on it. I got the romaine lettuce salad with ranch and supposedly fried chicken. Had an early flight to catch at JFK airport, we needed to grab some breakfast. Place was crowded and buzzing with people. They took about 25 minutes to produce 3 breakfast sandwiches and a drink. The timing wasn't great and the prices were a bit pricey But the taste was up there. The breakfast biscuit was cheesey, had a great yolk, and was on a buttery biscuit. The fries were crispy but I think because we had it to go it became slightly soggy. They don't give sauces to go unless you ask. I did try there orange juice it was mid, nothing spectacular. Worst dinning experience I've ever had in my life. Stood at the entrance for 10 minutes without evening being acknowledged. Finally was "seated" at the high top which consisted of someone just pointing at it. We sat down to a single menu left behind from the last customers as well as whatever else was left behind on the table. We had to flag down waitstaff to clean our area. After finally placing our drink order (2 waters and a soda) with our meal. Meal came out (Incorrect but I'll get to that part), still hadn't seen a drink. Considering how everything else was going, the chicken sandwiches were better than expected, fries were luke warm with two ketchup packets for dipping. Finally after our meal was on the table for several minutes, I had to flag someone down just to get waters. Finished the meal and the waitress came over with the bill. Told her I never received my soda and there was no cheese added to one of the sandwiches. She was confused that she forgot the soda but was then informed she never brought us a single drink.
