Breakfast in the airport check. Might look busy but they get you in and out so you don't miss your flight while the food still taste great. The chicken is crispy and juicy at the same time and makes you want more. Spacing was a bit tight with people and luggage but the food made up for it. Really a good stop when you want something hearty before your flight

I stopped at Jacob's Beer, Biscuits & Pickles in Terminal 5 -- the JetBlue terminal at JFK -- during a layover and ended up really enjoying my experience. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine while waiting for my connecting flight. The service at the bar was friendly and attentive, which is always a win in a busy airport. The only downside -- and probably no surprise for any airport traveler -- was the price of the wine. A 9 oz Canyon Road pour was $24, which definitely made me blink twice. Airport pricing... yikes! But at least everything else made up for it. One thing I really appreciated was that the menu wasn't your typical generic airport food. As someone who loves biscuits and pickles, this spot immediately drew me in. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken & Biscuits, and it was delicious. The chicken breast was fried perfectly -- crispy, flavorful, and piping hot -- served over a biscuit drizzled with honey and topped with chopped pickles. It came with classic waffle fries, and the entire dish arrived incredibly fast. Overall, it was a bright, tasty surprise for an airport meal and far better than the usual grab-and-go options. Despite the predictable airport drink prices, I'd absolutely stop here again for a satisfying bite between flights.

I can't complain about the menu, because it has the word Pickles in the name of the restaurant, but if you hare Pickles, steer clear, lol. I had the burger with cheese and an onion ring on top. Very dry. Waffle fries were good. Husband loved his classic macaroni and cheese.

The Jacob's pickles located in JFK was convenient to order on the kiosk before catching an early morning flight. My order was ready shortly after I placed it. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit with home fries. The fries were good but the biscuit was dry and was more like cornbread instead of a biscuit. I didn't finish the biscuit.

We were flying out of JFK Airport on Friday morning and every food place was very crowded so we decided to give this place a try. It was also busy but we got a table after a few minutes wait. The menu has several biscuit breakfast sandwiches as well as a few omelettes. I opted for the ham egg and cheese breakfast biscuit with waffle fries. Everything tasted great. My husband had the vegetable cheese omelette with waffle fries. He also loved the food. The music was also good.

This Jacob's Pickles doesn't have the same quality as their location in the city. We came exactly at 5am when they opened and got cold over-fried fries and a mediocre breakfast sandwich. No sausage gravy at this location either. Prices were standard for the airport and service was okay.

My server Danny was super friendly! There was some sort of launch party going on today and there was a very loud DJ outside but despite all of this my drink and my sandwich were really really good. I was actually shocked it was so tasty for airport food. Highly recommend!

So far one of my best Airport experiences I have never had. I wanted breakfast, but and this breakfast like a few minutes so I was getting ready to leave the hostess told me more about the food and I decided to stay. The service is impeccable even though you're in the airport I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with pickles delicious!!! along with hot tea & water - lunch couldn't have been better. Geraldine delivered exceptional customer service.

I ordered the short ribs and the five-onion soup again, and both were excellent. The service was spot-on and impressively quick--my food arrived in under 15 minutes. The owner is also really cool; he personally greets guests and makes a point of chatting with the performers to ensure they're comfortable. This is a wonderfully romantic spot. The beautiful flowers add such a nice touch (as I mentioned in my previous review). While it's not fully upscale, it has an elevated, sophisticated vibe that makes you want to dress up for the occasion. Highly recommended!

The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. The space is clearly designed for photos, and I can see why it would be popular for birthdays, showers, or other special occasions. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

When I walked in there were a lot of people waiting but I overheard the wait was 5 minutes for a party of 2 so it sounds like the table turnover is fast. The bacon was well done, not just crispy and not raw, either lol I had my favorite, western omelet with american cheese, home fries and a side of bacon. My friend had a grilled cheese and I compared my toast to his grill Cheese bread and his bread was bigger. So i'm wondering, do they use a different bread for the grilled cheeses, perhaps the french toast too? nonetheless the meal was delicious. When we got here, it was barely empty and now it's packed yet cozy.

I got there early to snag a table, and the team was already hard at work with nearly the entire beergarden packed with fans. The hostess Jenna was an absolute rockstar all night - I don't think she stopped moving or smiling! Not only was she seating guests with poise and insane amounts of charm, but she was also running food and drinks to make sure guests weren't waiting for their orders - in fact, despite there being more than 250 people in the beergarden, we never waited more than 4 minutes for drinks and 12 minutes for food which is pretty impressive given how busy they were inside and outside. We were served by Lana, who legit might have been the nicest, friendliest, most engaging server I have ever met in New York City, and I am not being overly dramatic here. She handled her insanely large section with aplomb, took the time to actually learn our names and address us by names when asking if we wanted to order anything, checked in on us every few minutes even if we did not need anything, and despite likely being tired from all of the guests, the running of food and drinks, and the hustling, she was cracking jokes all night through her radiant and starry smile, and making our group feel like the most important people there despite the fact that we were just three regular dudes enjoying a basketball game. Her attentiveness and personality alone are worth requesting to sit in her section at all times. Food was solid on this trip - our table ordered a half-pound burger which was cooked and seasoned perfectly (came with fries and toppings), mozzarella sticks which were piping hot with a nice crunch on the exterior, waffle fries (had to get them again they were too good last trip), and honey BBQ wings, which although they weren't very meaty (not their fault since I am assuming they didn't butcher the wings in-house - could have just been a lean batch from the supplier), the sauce was addictive and delicious and I found myself dipping everything we ordered into it so it wouldn't go to waste - order the Honey BBQ! All beers came out cold and rapidly (Cobblestones uses plastic for half liter beers when the beergarden is saturated with guests, just be prepared for that - makes sense because of the volume). The rest of the staff was incredible given the chaos. Beergarden manager Pete made it a point to check in on us a couple of times and was very appreciative of all of the guests coming for the game, and you can tell he steers the ship effectively because everyone in the beergarden was focused, attentive, and in the zone during what many bars would be challenged to handle. One final thought - my two friends who came with me (who are NOT "let's go out drinking at night" type of guys) asked me when we are coming back for a Friday or Saturday night - they loved the atmosphere, loved the friendly service from Lana, and loved the food and drinks. The answer? very soon! Thank you Cobblestones!

There's usually a line of some length during peak hours and especially around the holidays. You can tell by the sheer volume of baked goods and cakes available in their window displays that they sell a lot daily. This location is on the main drag of the little downtown section of Forest Hills, the baked goods in the front window display connect to a tall and long glass counter along the left side of the store that extends almost to the back. At the back middle and along the right side of the wall there's seating for about two dozen people at small cafe tables. They carry an assortment of traditional cakes (full and sliced), pies, cookies, pastries, cheesecakes, cupcakes, ice cream and coffee/tea drinks. A wide variety of flavors in each, so you're bound to find something sweet to satisfy most here. They are a classic bakery so from what I can tell, they don't carry items that are gluten, dairy or nut free. I've purchased their apple pie, fruit tart, berry napoleon, red velvet and chocolate fudge cakes from this or other locations in the past and they're all solid choices for desserts to share with a larger group, though I find a lot of their cake options to be on the richer side. My most recent encounter with their cakes came in the form of a slice of their seven layer cake $9.95 which is thin layers of yellow cake alternating with chocolate cream mmm pretty tasty, and their caramel cake $9.95 which had a layer of chocolate cake in the middle, sandwiched by caramel cream and white cake on either side. The latter had a pronounced caramel flavor that was enjoyable though a bit too much cream for me. My preference would be for their chocolate cakes over other cake flavors here. Their apple pie is one of my favorite apple pies anywhere tho!
