Eric has done an excellent job of installing 5 ceiling lights at my home. Four of the lights that he replaced were old style recessed box lights of circa 1980, which required removal of boxes and repair of the ceiling dry wall before installation of new lights. One light was a new light. All done to my complete satisfaction. Thank you. read more

I called Eric today about a problem we were having with our HVAC power. Even though it was short notice, he showed up under an hour. He is a nice and professional guy and took the time to explain the potential sources of the problem. He fixed the problem in a timely manner and charged me a fair rate for the work he completed. I would not hesitate to call him again in the future for any electrical work I need done. read more

Eric came out to our house last weekend to do some quick electrical during our remodel. He charges (to my knowledge) on a Time & Material model so just define with him up front what that rate will be and the scope of the work needing done. Eric was professional, clean, and thorough. He provided great advice on some DIY projects I was going to tackle. We need a lot of electrical done in the coming weeks/months/years so I'm sure we'll see a lot of Eric. Glad we found someone close, local, and of high quality. read more

Had an issue with a faulty electrical outlet. Spoke to Eric and he was onsite within a few hours. He even called me before arriving to let me know he would be 15min late due to traffic. He explained what he was doing throughout the entire process and answered all my questions. The price he charged was very reasonable compared to other electricians I have used. I will definitely call again with any future electrical needs. read more

Found Eric through yelp & based on all the reviews we decided to give him a call. We have an old house that is a fixer upper & definitely needs TLC. My husband & I have major concerns with the outlets, we didn't feel that anything was safe. . I've had my share of horrible, dishonest contractors & electricians in the past but after meeting with Eric he had a genuine, honest vibe to him. My husband & I are very happy & satisfied with his work. We finally found the right guy for the job! Give him a try, you won't be disappointed ! Thanks for making our home safe Eric! read more

Eric is awesome! We've been wanting recessed lights for a long time, and we are so glad we found Eric to do the job. He was very responsive, knowledgeable and honest. Had a doorbell issue and could not figure out why. Contacted Eric and couple of other electricians around the area. Eric was prompt to respond and stayed engaged. I recommend Eric for all those looking for an electrician. I will also be working with Eric of electrical needs in the future. read more

Eric is a wonderful electrician and the prices are competitive and reasonable. We were fortunate to find this 5-start electrician on Yelp. He helped us with wiring for ceiling fan installation. A job well done. When we made last-minute change about the design/color of the fan, he was friendly and accommodating --which we truly appreciate. Thank you very much, Eric, for being professional, honest, and friendly. We highly recommend Eric and his company JaCo Electric. read more

On Wednesday I noticed a section of lights and plugs in my house were not working. Thinking it was a bad bulb I replaced it but the circuit was still not working. The rest of the house seemed fine. I checked yelp and was fortunate to find Jaco Electric, not only were they close but the owner answered the phone, not letting it go to voice mail. I explained my problem and Eric was at my house diagnosing the problem in about an hour. After what I consider a very fair estimate for the work all my lights and plugs are working as the were intended to. Eric (the owner) has extensive background as an electrician and a calm and assuring personality which makes you feel he knows what he is talking about. Before he left we discussed a few more ideas I had which require an electrician. I'm confident his price will be fair and the work done timely and professionally. I would absolutely recommend Jaco Electric to anyone. read more

We were looking to get an outdoor electric outlet installed. We are glad that we found Eric from Jaco Electric in Yelp. Eric went to our home at the agreed time for the initial consultation and estimate. After the price quote, we agreed on a timeframe to do the install. on install day, he called ahead and arrived on time , installed the outlet with connecting switch with no issues. The work was efficient and the electrical materials that he used are good quality too. He also installed an extra junction box when i mentioned that i was going to be needing future electrical work for air conditioner units. Also he cleaned up after the install was a big plus. We will definitely call Eric again for our electrical needs because of his professionalism, punctuality, honesty, and quality work. read more

I didn't end up using them for my panel upgrade, because a family friend helped me out, but I felt they still deserved a review. They were very pleasant to deal with, showed up when they said they would and gave a very good quote on the project. Seemed like great guys to work with. read more

Not easy finding great quality and honest work. I can Vouch for the whole team when I say the work was done way beyond my expectations with skill and passion. I had a 200 amp control panel changes and updated in which he found multiple errors from previous electrician and fixed. Installed a Tesla charger and noticed multiple things around house that needed updating. Even my mom is his fan now and wants to send him to all her friends! read more

Called Eric and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have a breaker that keeps tripping in one area of my home. This area is using a very old power strip. He recommended changing the power strip and it should do the trick. Sure enough, hasn't tripped since. Knowledgeable honest guy. read more

I recently had a kitchen make over and needed the hood, cook top and oven/microwave combination installed. Since the hood and micro/oven were on order when the cabinets were installed, the spaces for them had been measured and left open. I was very nervous about the openings being the correct size. Everything fit and Eric's men did a perfect job. Eric kind of squeezed my job in and they installed on New Years Eve - day. I am very impressed by my little neighbor boy who has become a skilled electrician and business owner! read more

I found JaCo on Yelp and Eric provided me a quote to install a Nema 14-50 outlet in my garage. He was responsive, on time, courteous, and got the job done without any hiccups. His price was very reasonable, which is why he is super busy and my appointment was about 2 weeks out. Thank you Eric for the excellent work that you've done. read more

Eric with Jaco was awesome to work with. He originally came to look at an issue we were having with our oven and quickly helped us realize it wasn't an electrical issue. From the start we could tell he was honest and that put us at ease to work with him. He did notice another issue with our general electrical board so suggested we do something about that but wasn't pushy at all and even said it wasn't necessary at this time, just might be a good idea. We ended up doing the work with him and it was a great experience, beginning to end. We will definitely plan to work with Eric and Jaco in the future. read more

Eric handled two different projects at our home in wonderful fashion. He was responsive and professional; offered a fair estimate of cost and time, and delivered what he promised. We plan on using him again next month as our remodel moves along. I even recommended him to my parents, as I trust him to do great work at a great price! read more

Great guys to deal with. Eric, the owner, and Chris came out and were punctual. I had a gfi that went bad and also a hanging ceiling light to install. I did not know that my light had all these crystals to install and wasn't as easy an install as I had first anticipated. Eric and Chris were both very nice about it and took the time to do it correctly. I really appreciate their extra effort as the light came out really nice. Very fair in price and both of them seem like stand up guys. I highly recommend Jaco Electric if you have any electrical needs in the OC area. read more

We contacted JaCo Electric because we wanted to add lights to the pergola in the backyard. We'd just purchased a renovated house that's 98 years old, so we also asked them to take a look at the existing wiring and let us know if there were any issues. We ended up having to replace the entire wiring in the house because the people who "renovated" the house did the wiring all wrong (put outside and not weatherproofed) plus we still had some ancient wiring that was a fire hazard, plus a whole bunch of other little things that I decided that I wanted since we're doing so much other work anyways. The prices were reasonable. Everyone who did the work was polite, on time, professional, and understanding. We have a toddler who has naptime plus a cat who is prone to escape. Not only did they work around the naptime (getting the work done and cleaned up in my kid's room first), they were very good at keeping the door closed as they walked in and out of the house. Their choice of materials was high-quality and very thoughtful (making sure the outlets were child-proof). Finally, they did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, even vacuuming up the dust from the repairs. I would recommend them, and they will be my first choice if I need additional electrical work done. read more

This was a first time ever for me using an electrian, and I have to say I was very pleased with the work Eric did for me. He's very detail on the craftsman work that he does and is very professional on his job. Pricing was very fair and I would diffently use him again. :) read more

I have 2 bedrooms that do not have electricity running to the ceiling. The light switched controlled a wall outlet. I wanted to hire an electrician to run electricity to the ceiling and install 2 ceiling fans. After an electrician flaked on his appt., My wife got fed up and found Eric (Jaco) on Yelp. He gave a reasonable estimate and I ended up hiring him to mount my flat screen over my fireplace and conceal the wires. I couldn't be happier with who we chose. He was on time for the estimate, and on time to do the work. We ran into a snag during the journey but he consulted with me, and ended up spending an extra day on the job. I was so appreciative of this because I have piece of mind that the work was done "top notch" and he didn't take short cuts. He was patient with my indecisiveness and ultimately treated my home like it was his. The price was very reasonable and the estimate didn't go up like my last electrician did to me. Like Aaron M indicated, Eric was a pleasure to get to know and will be the only electrician I use from now on. read more
