I was about to call the police for some help, and the machine finally let me pull my card out. I didn't get any gas. I would never put my card back into the machine. Never again! They should put up signs to prevent people from inserting their cards intothe machines. This is the station at the corner of Broadway Ave and Howe St in Boise.

The pharmacy is definitely the most dysfunctional pharmacy I've ever patronized. The lines often…read morespan half the store, they rarely answer the phone, and the drive through is randomly but rather consistently closed. This has persisted for more than a year and a half. Understaffing, mismanagement, crisis, alternate reality? It's unclear what could create such a longterm and catastrophic dysfunction. Orders are never available when promised, resulting in multiple in-person trips. You can't call ahead to check if an order is ready because they don't answer the phone. They don't update the online system timely either. Perhaps due to the location, many of the clientele appear to be experiencing challenges. Lots of severely ill individuals coughing, pacing, and hovering inches from nearby patrons, waiting anxiously for medications. There are spacing stickers on the floor. But they're not enforced or observed. Someone in line requested substance addiction-related medications and was told it will take two weeks to fill the prescription at this pharmacy, resulting in a scene with lots of foul language. TWO WEEKS for what is apparently a critical time sensitive medication. As for me, when I left, the line was 20+. Waited for over 25 minutes and walked out without my order because they claim they didn't receive the order, despite confirming with my doctor's office on the way to the pharmacy. Time to switch pharmacies! Trust me, no matter how convenient this pharmacy is as far as location, you will still come out behind due to multiple trips and long waits and people coughing on the back of your neck. I have some sympathy for the employees who staff this pharmacy and have to deal with a constant flow of disgruntled desperate clients.

I made an appointment for a rapid covid test to be performed by pharmacy staff and it's now 45 minutes after checking in for my scheduled appointment that I've been sitting here without my name being called. I get that they're busy but that's just ridiculous... when you make an appointment, it shouldn't take an hour after that appointment before being assisted. I'm about to get up and leave now and will get a rapid covid test that I do at home myself instead. My patience is gone.

But the tea towels on the other side of the store, next to the pinball machine were beautiful too. After much debate, I decided on the cute metal mug with the fun Idaho facts all over it. It's going to be the perfect little gift for our host. My husband was too busy looking at all the refrigerated drinks. He found the Sprite + tea combo. We have yet to see that in any gas stations by us so that was a neat find! We also found another Calypso lemonade that we have yet to see as well. It was cool finding those drink choices here. The sweet gal that helped us last time helped us again today. She rang us up and a we chatted a bit. She said she remembered us from our last visit. I don't know if it's true but I'm flattered if she did remember us! Either way, she was great and made our little visit there fun. Think of Costco Gas Station at noon on a Saturday. Or the gas station right off the freeway or by the airport. One reason or another they can be more expensive, not worth the hassle, or simply difficult to get in and out. The location at 4700 North Eagle Rd is a good location. There's a right hand turn into the Albertsons shopping center and the Stinker is to the left. There are four wide lanes and it's one way pull through. That means you're not in a battle royale for positioning. ( Think of the gas station off the freeway in Anywhere US ) Cars and trailers facing all sorts of directions with gas tanks on the wrong side of the pump. My only gripe is the number of questions I am subjected to when I just want to get gas. It's not an inditement of Stinker but they do have a lot of questions when using the pay at the pump option. I feel like I'm being up-sold on everything from Monster drinks to Car washes. The pull out goes around the car wash. There are vacuums and theres bonus points for free air.

I had no cell, and vehicle had dead battery, and needed a cab, when this above and beyond staff Googled four times on her phone cab numbers, and let me borrow the company's phone to quickly call each one until one came. "Just a BIG, Thank You," to the staff that did this at the Franklin Road and Cole Road, newly renamed Gas Station that is amazingly well remodeled and renamed. I had not been back since the reconstruction but my only regret is not catching the staff at the counters name or the new gas stations name. I do highly recommend this gas station though, just based on the new 1:1customer service that's inviting, honesty, and friendly.
