We had an extraordinarily positive experience at Jackson's Auto Care. Our son attends classes at the University of Oregon, though we live out-of-state. We recently traveled to Eugene to help him move back home for the summer, and just days before we were scheduled to leave, his car wouldn't start despite all efforts. After asking around for a shop recommendation, we brought his car into Jackson's in hopes that they could get his car fixed before we had to get on the road. It was obvious when we got there why Jackson's had come so highly recommended. The shop was the cleanest we had ever seen, and the service staff so very warm/friendly and helpful. The parking lot and shop were completely full with cars, yet the service advisor (Derek?) took the time to make sure we were treated like we were family and assured us that the Jackson's team would do everything they could to get us on the road back home on schedule. These guys were obviously packed, and we hadn't made an appointment, but they still managed to take care of us and make our son's car road-worthy before we needed to leave for home. 800 miles later, his car is still running great - no hiccups along the trip at all. When I brought my car in, I figured it would be expensive and I would be without my car for a couple days. In a couple days, they called me and explained that the part they got in for the repair was defective and it would be a few more days. I was in no way prepared for that. I had no more time off from work before heading out of town. Although the circumstances were beyond their control, the guys at Jackson's worked hard to finish my car. At first, the technician agreed to come in on Saturday, his day off, to work on it. When I received a call at 8:30 Saturday morning to let me know my car was ready, I was overjoyed. As it turned out, they worked late Friday night to accomodate my schedule. On top of all that, they fixed a turn signal issue I had been having. These guys are amazing! read more

If you want an honest mechanic and wonderful auto shop, there can be none better than Jackson's. They had done work on my daughter's car and she had some additional problems two months later. They worked on the car for 2 days, completed all repairs, did three test drives, and all at no cost because they honored their previous warranty work. I had my 25+ year old car in too look at the air conditioning for a retrofit. The receptionist was helpful and seemed to be well connected to what the technician was doing as updates came in while I walked around. While the ultimate results may not have been what I was hoping for. The technician worked very hard and did what he could with the issues that came up. Awesome!!! The guys in their service department actually listen/explain things in a way I can understand and are super friendly to boot. I love that we can bring both of our cars there to get fixed (and fixed right!) and don't feel like we have to take them to separate places to get someone who knows what they're doing with each one. Plus, they're always able to drop me off and pick me up so that I don't have to wait or arrange for a ride to/from their place - very convenient. Definitely recommended. read more

My son GMC Yukon 2018 air condition was not working. No one except the dealer in Coquille had the tools to repair. (long wait time) Car was purchased to haul around his newborn twins and son. Contacted Dan Bowden / Owner Bob Langan with the problem. Rear a/c piping leaking due to improper routing and chafing. The team correctly replaced the piping and connect to the existing coil. Bob and Dan always offer options that range from doing it right (which can get expensive because of parts) to doing an affordable middle ground option.
