Emaculatelly clean, stunning, peaceful, comfortable, quiet, homey, beautifully decorated, old world feeling with an English touch of class, home-cooked breakfasts, great service. Prices: Regular Rooms It's 85 per night; 115 w/breakfast Groundhog Suite It's 110 per night; 140 w/breakfast Hunters lodge It's 200 per night, w full kitchen & Laundry (*Believe me, you want to do the breakfast) There are discretionary discounts for Extended Stays and booking multiple rooms. (Note: No discounts for Red seasons) The food was exceptional. Perfectly cooked bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, tender French toast with blueberry compote and syrup. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. And just when didn't think I could eat another bite, she brought me a slice of homemade pumpkin roll, just because it was "so close to Thanksgiving"... Absolutely wonderful.

It is about 25 minutes from the Jimmy Stewart museum in Indiana Pennsylvania. Because of covid, we didn't get the breakfast, but that wasn't a deal breaker for us; we just ate in the restaurants in town. Also, because of covid, you had to ask for extra towels if you want them, extra toilet paper, and you had to ask to get your barrel emptied. But Julie was there to get in touch with if you needed anything. There is a nice veranda in the back where you can sit and enjoy the yard. If you look close enough, you can see fireflies in the grass at night. There is a coffee station outside the room with lots of different coffee flavors available. The room was big enough and we enjoyed our stay here. If you want to book the room for Groundhog day, you need to book it waaaay in advance.

Ice machine is located near the elevator on our floor. A hotel store in the lobby sells snacks and personal care items. The room was clean and warm (in Autumn). Bed is comfortable with feather pillows and a soft duvet. Towels are newer and nice quality. There is one overhead light at the room entrance and recessed lighting over the desk. Some soft strip lighting along the back wall worked well as a 'night light'. Bedside lamps and one floor lamp round out the in-room lighting. The window shade looks new and is looks very nice. The desk area is very narrow. A closet on that same wall holds wooden hangers, iron, board and foldable luggage rack. A microwave, mini-fridge, ice bucket, paper cups and TV are in/on a dresser across from the bed. A couch and coffee table are next to the bed. The bathroom is a good size with a shower/tub combination. I had to turn the water on as far as it would go and let it run a while to get a tepid shower in the evening. My SO's morning shower also took a while to warm up, but he did get a hot shower. Water pressure is good. Amenities like body lotion and shampoo are attaches to the wall in multi-use containers. The sink is deep and there is a good amount of counter space. A hook is on the back of the door. Extra TP and tissues on the shelf. At breakfast the juice machine only had flavored water at 6:30am and they were too sweet for my preference. OJ was added to the machine a bit later. The rehydrated scrambled eggs are what you normally find at a hotel breakfast. They also have hard boiled eggs, fruit, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, breads and cereals. A coffee station is in the lobby. Only coffee mate creamers, no milk or cream. Also cocoa and teas available. A very nice staff member was keeping busy restocking breakfast items, helping guests with questions and cleaning. The breakfast area furniture is showing wear but is sturdy. A morning news show was playing on the huge TV in that area during breakfast. I am told by reception the guest parking area is under video survelliance. The lot is to the side of the entrance with handicapped spots closest to the building and 'Diamond' level member parking next to that. More parking is available behind the building and in the adjoining mall parking lot where some big rigs were parked.

We ended up here by accident; we are driving cross country and decided we didn't want to drive all the way to Scranton. I used a dog friendly app, and they have lodges that accept dogs for a $10 fee. Lodge has a whirlpool bathtub as well as a shower, bunk beds built into the wall, comfy couch, stocked with snacks for sale for $1, and a bedroom with a queen bed. They serve breakfast but we were leaving too early to enjoy it. Seriously tempted to drive back to pick it up lol. The owners stayed up to receive us since we came in late, and it was very appreciated. Dog friendly and pointed out areas he could walk around. I definitely want to make a trip back! The price is also a great deal.

The home was built in 1989 with efficiencies for a bed and breakfast and does not disappoint! Set back and located off of Bee Line Highway next to the Treasure Lake entrance provides ample accessibility to and from Dubois and the surrounding areas of Clearfield and Jefferson county. The entrance to the Inn is very welcoming and inviting with lamppost lines of light guiding you to a cute little narrow creek run along the left of the property. The grounds are well kept and fun to admire. The Inn is large and cozy. The suites are great accomodation for a couple or individual and they do have a larger suite for small families. Ample parking available and relaxation abound. The roommate rates are very affordable for all travelers and I have to say the breakfast is quite tasty! impeccable service and attention to detail. I will be staying here again.
