Highly recommend starting with the Buffalo chicken dip. Very creamy and it went well with the crunchy chips that were served with it. Trainer Mitch's burger was perfect! The tasty vegetables complimented the burger, which was delicious! Save room for dessert and order their homemade vanilla ice cream. Had a scoop with a slice of pecan pie. YUMMY!!!!!! I drank a caramel mocha iced coffee with my meal. Tasted great with the food I ate. The staff did an excellent job taking care of their guests! Under different circumstances, I would have enjoyed it here. COVID-19 review: Passing through, I notice "farm to table" written out front, of course we had to stop! I was happy there was a picnic table outside (1) My first priority was to head inside to the restroom. I couldn't believe that I actually read "no mask required" - I'm pretty sure I reread it 3 times, couldn't believe my eyes. The dining room was very busy. Wait staff did not wear masks. Nor did the employees that I saw. The menu, and the food itself was very good. Our waitress was very nice as well. It's unfortunate that we stopped in during this time. Like other reviews mentioned, I would come back but not during this time, due to their no mask policy. Also, "drain the swamp" signs in parking lot. This place is a total hidden gem on the road from PGH to Allegheny National Forest! Amazing quality and flavor (and I dislike most restaurant food.) The chicken marsala with WILD mushrooms (!!!) I got rivaled the delicate deliciousness of Pittsburgh's Morcilla :-) We liked it so much that we stopped again on the way back.... Menu rotates seasonally, so there should always be something interesting to try. Can't wait to go back! -- I should add that the place on a Friday evening was filled with a few large families and a few dates - good, warm vibe, and clearly popular. The servers I had were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu and the owner came by to double check on us a few times. I would advise the owners to start an Instagram account since the food is not only delicious, but beautifully prepared, in order to tap into the online foodie scene in neighboring cities and for advertising. We just used Zach's catering service for a family event. The delicious food was delivered on time by a friendly employee who set up quickly. We had stuffed chicken, prime rib, carrots, and potatoes. They were in contact via phone for initial request and email to make sure all the details were correct. My husband and I found this wonderful place when biking the Redbank Valley Bike Trail. We had a delightful lunch. BLTs but these aren't your ordinary BLTs. Zack's does theirs on a super soft brioche bun with a garlic mayo and the bacon came from a local farm. Sooooo good! So good in fact that after biking the trail all afternoon we went back for dinner. Everything at this place is made from scratch and most importantly made with love. Our dinners were delicious and very filling but we saved room for dessert and boy am I glad we did! We both had the mini apple pies. WOW!!! Kudos to Aunt Dana who is the baker. Fantastic!! This is a family run establishment and everyone is super nice and friendly. I got the pork and sour kraut soup as a side which was very tasty but should have been served at a hotter temperature. The waiter could have been more attentive. It took a long time to get someone to take our credit card. The ambiance is ok but they need to tear out the carpeting because it old, worn and very dirty. It gives the appearance that the restaurant isn't clean and makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. Painted concrete would be better. Overall I believe this restaurant has an excellent chance of making it. I like the idea of locally grown food being used to make delicious meals. Which is great, but I don't need a 10 minute lecture about clean eating. I just wanted to place my order. Also offering "healthier" suggestions to what I asked for. Made me feel a little judged. Zack's catered my baby shower in 2018 and it was awesome!! I had several people compliment the food. I really liked them because for this area most only cater based off of a specific menu. Here at Zack's they made the Pinterest food a dream come true. I recently had them cater my baby's 1st birthday and again they were very accommodating. There food was great and reasonably priced and to top it off they drop off the food, set it up then return at a convenient time to pick up their heat trays, bowels, players, etc! If you're biking the Redbank Trail, stopping in at Zack's is a MUST! We stopped there on our way through and enjoyed refreshing Mint/Cucumber water and the Bunless Burger! We found this restaurant by accident. We were on a ride to DuBois. We wanted to come home on Pa66. I looked up local restaurants to eat at. Zack's was the first one we found. From the outside it looked ok. But when we walked in it amazing. It is a farm to table restaurant. The decorations were very up beat. We decided on the steakhouse sandwich. My wife and I shared the huge sandwich. She had a salad and I had the veggie soup. The sandwich was very good. Lots of veggies and the steak sandwich was really very good. Steak, mushrooms, peppers and onions with provolone cheese. With A1 mayo. We will go back for sure. read more

When I took a client of mine there she wanted something from the buffet but with her in a wheelchair there was no handicap access to the buffet area when I made a suggestion to put in a ramp I was told in a very unpleasant way that they couldn't do it but there are ways of installing ramps that will not do any damage to property and can be removed easily read more
