Honest review again. We live close by and it's often a regular for us. We have figured out to only go during busy hours. We just visited tonight about 9:30pm. All the chairs are put up and we seemed unwelcome to come inside. After waiting 7-8 minutes standing there basically invisible they finally took our order. The food came quickly but was cold. We were all hungry and really didn't care. We knew it was not worth taking back to the counter and fixing. Bad attitudes behind the counter told us that. I feel like corporate doesn't get involved much bc I have talked to them a few times and nothing seems to change. It does have hope during breakfast. I really enjoy their breakfast. The staff in those hours seem to do a really good job. Polite and respectful. I will give it some time and do another review in a few months. read more

If I could give it less stars I would. Bathrooms were dirty. Service was slow. Cashier mumbled and talked extremely quiet. Special ad was misleading, or at least could be taken several ways, and when I asked about it the cashier and manager both were smart mouthed and had no interest in making sure I got what I wanted. Jack's has some of the largest and best biscuits so I was terribly disappointed that it was left out of my Breakfast Special. Also the grits tasted as if they had been scorched on the bottom of the pan. They looked fine, but if you have ever burned some you know the whole batch will taste burnt. THROW IT OUT AND START OVER! I went through the drive through this morning,which was busy but moved pretty quickly, and was greeted with "welcome to jacks." I waited a few moments before asking if I could order, while being conscious of my tone because I didn't want to sound as if I was impatient or rude. The response: "yeah." I was a little taken back but I knew they were busy so I moved on. Got my order, which included an iced coffee. After having doctor visit some hot grits was needed. Googled some nearby restaurants that served grits and this one came up. Service was great the food was good and the atmosphere was quiet... ordered the deluxe breakfast platter. The staff is friendly and this is truly fast food. It took 3 minutes from ordering to receive the food, hot and fresh. And, when the friendly woman working at the register handed the food to me, she apologized for the wait. Not sure what wait she was referring to, but it was a nice touch, nonetheless. This whole entire interstate exit is trash first of all. Waited too damn long to even hear a word from an employee over the speaker... no "we will be right with you" "hold for a moment" 5 cars piled up behind me in the meantime of my wait. I don't have high expectations for fast food but this place was the worst of the worst. Who never owns and manages this store should be embarrassed. Walk in and ALL the trash cans are over flowing on to the floor, and not just a little. My kids tried to use the restroom and there was no TP. I did not go in them but one guest escorted their family out after he came back from the restroom. I stood in line foe five minutes to order, finally the group at the head of the line left exasperated because they said they waited 10 min with no help. I asked the young lady working the counter who was working the register. She stated she was and promptly turned her back on me...no I was not rude. Absolute, joke. Jack's food is exactly what you would expect from a fast food joint, it doesn't really stick out from the rest. However it is still better than other available options. I had their chicken tenders which overall were pretty good, but not really life changing. I've also had their burgers which to me is pretty similar to most fast food restaurants. Overall I have no major complaints, but the restaurant had been overhyped for me. Jack's is a good option for a quick bite and affordable prices. read more

When this Jacks first opened it was great and the service was great very nice folks working there Great Management. Well as of the end of 2018 and the beginning of the new year it is terrible . The Crew has changed and they dont give a crap . Drive thru is a joke IT'S ALL ABOUT THE TIMER ON DRIVE THRU . When handing out the food it nothing short of throwing the food at you . They never look at you they never say good morning which the girls in the past would always say good morning or they would call you by your name if they knew you but not this bunch . A lot of Seniors go there for breakfast but that has dropped off . When you walk up to the counter all they do is stare at you and say like a machine is this for here or to go NO smile NO nothing NO good morning or have a nice day and then there is on black girl ALWAYS SCRATCHING in her head or slapping it on the front counter taking orders and she is the one handling your food. There is an older lady that works in the mornings that takes care of the dining room you need to speak with her she will tell you what's going on . The crew at one time was mixed but now its 99% black and they are having a party when you go in there. I have no reason to post this other than it is bad and someone needs to get control of this store. I am a local businessman and have been in business in the Millbrook area for 25 years and my main focus on my business is CUSTOMER SERVICE and this place is far from that . This is the response you get in the morning at Drive thru. You pull up to the speaker and all you hear is JACKS well I know I am at Jacks you dont have to tell me . It should be the person addressing you first by saying WELCOME TO JACK THIS IS ------ MAY I TAKE YOUR ORDER. By doing this is makes you feel that JACKS appreciates YOUR BUSINESS. You pull to the window and they dont even look at you mainly looking at the drink station or SOMEONE BACK IN THE STORE and then they dont say GOOD MORNING all they say is the amount your paying while they a STICKING A DRINK IN YOU FACE because that TIMER IS TICKING . Well you are having to take the drink the same time you are handing them your money and then before you know it they have your bag in your face and they are looking back into the store THEY NEVER SAY THANK YOU AT ALL. If I was an area Manager with Jacks there would be some BIG CHANGES made with the CREW OR THE SO CALLED MANAGERS . I would CLEAN HOUSE . The money that CUSTOMERS SPEND MAKES THEIR PAYCHECKS and CUSTOMERS LIKE TO BE APPRECIATED when they spend their money . But like I said it was great in the beginning it has just took a turn for the worst. One other thing you never see a manager on the front line talking to customers anymore THEY ARE IN THE KITCHEN COOKING how can they know what's going on THEY CANNOT. I hope you take this SERIOUS because it is and like I said speak with the lady that tends the Dining room in the morning she will tell you or BETTER YET your AREA MANAGER needs to make a SURPRISE VISIT. Amazing service! Yummy food. We are evacuees from Florida, they were so kind and gave us treats for our dogs. Fantastic service!!!!

My husband had a double cheeseburger and fries they were delish. Then I ordered Chicken with side it came with Chicken strips yummy green beans mashed potatoes and a gravy and a biscuit. All I can say is YUM. Then as a treat I got an orange dreams cycle shake that was to die for. My hubby and I will be making this a frequent stop from now on .Just keep in mind it is fast food just just a little elevated than most. read more
