So we went here and it charged our card at and took the balance out, but didn't pay for the food. So we had to make another $23 payment so we ended up paying $46 for 2 meals. Then we were told to come back the next day for a refund if it didn't come back, but when we came back, they said they can't give the refund, and when we called to tell a manager about the issue, someone had attitude, interrupted, an hung up on us while we were still talking. Jacks in jacksonville passed food out to the car in front of me and they passed it back in the drive thru. Then the burgers I ordered were suppose to be ketchup only and I got them with cheese. She wanted them back. I told her that was a health violation to take food back like that. She said she had to have them back. Clearly this happens a lot. read more

This Jack's.... I don't even know where to begin. This location seems to get worse every time I visit. After getting a really screwed up mushroom and swiss burger a few weeks ago, this morning I bravely decided to try their new chocolate gravy biscuit. I ordered an egg and cheese biscuit, as a backup. An egg and cheese biscuit is a "special" biscuit, but, as I said, I am brave. After receiving a regular gravy biscuit, instead of chocolate, and going back through the line, I have to say I have NEVER (and I have lived a long time) seen such a mess in a sack. See photo - I mean, YALL, did they think I would like it so much I would lick the sack? And it wasn't my mama's chocolate gravy - or my aunt's or my grandmother's. I don't know who the heck came up with this mess. What a horrible plastic taste! (trash) My "backup" sandwich was marked "SPECIAL" to show they had heard me when I said egg and cheese only, but there was a piece of sausage on it! Took a tiny bite of the sausage and had to throw it in the trash. Meat tasted old. The rest of the biscuit was mushy. (trash) As a bonus, they had thrown a bag of hash browns in my bag and those were mushed together in ONE lump - I am not kidding - and grease was everywhere. (trash) My trash can is full and I'm hungry. With all the messed-up orders I get from this place, I have to wonder if there are one or more people at this location who cannot read. I don't mean this in an unkind way, because that is a tragic thing. The receipt on the bag showed exactly what I had ordered, so.... You cannot count on taste, quality, or accuracy of order at Jacksonville Jack's. So, why go? I gave up today. read more

Ordered through DoorDash. Don't know if part of our order was given to another customer or if Jacks left off a chunk of order...either way tried to call Jack's to let them know; girl hung up. My brother-in-law went there in person and was given an attitude. But that's not even the reason for the 1 star. Smoke sausage biscuit crumbled in pieces. Meat over cooked; no cheese! The person at the window wasn't friendly. The order was simple, a chicken sandwich add cheese and extra fry salt. With chicken fingers and extra dipping sauce. We got a regular chicken sandwich and no salt or extra dipping sauce. I told her twice that I needed extra cheese. The chicken was rubbery. The girl at the counter was really nice and understanding. The last time I went I asked for 2 wraps and 2 biscuits. I got 4 biscuits. I wasn't that mad because it's four biscuits but the girl at the window wasn't nice either. read more

i ask for a 2 cheeseburger meal with extra onions, pickles, and sauce and get NO onions, no sauce, and 1 pickle. then i ask for 2 ranch and 2 comeback and get a honey mustard instead of ranch. i have never had a problem out of jacksonville jacks and they have disappointed me. read more

This is probably one of the worst jack's I have ever been to. I moved to Jacksonville a couple months ago, so I haven't eaten at this particular one too many times. But, I have gotten their breakfast a few times and it's just sad. Their biscuits are so flat, they could be used as a frisbee. Like, I've never seen such a flat biscuit. Jack's biscuits are supposed to be light and fluffy, not flat and depressing. This morning I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit along with a sausage wrap. The wrap was pitiful too, barely any egg and the cheese wasn't even melted, they just put cheese, sausage and egg in a tortilla and sent it out the window. I don't know if I'll be back to this jacks again. They're supposed to be quality food, but this is crap. read more

I love Jack's, but not this one. Everytime I come there out something. This time, they were out of chicken breast. I had ordered two and satin line for 20 minutes. Then when I asked for a substitution they said they would give me five strips for the two chicken breasts. Do not think I'll be returning to this Jack's. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but I was so disappointed in my service that I felt the need to this time. I went through the drive thru and placed my order. The lady told me it would be 6 min wait for the chicken and I said that was fine. I pull up, pay, and then they ask me to pull ahead and they will bring it out and I do. 22 min later!! I am still waiting so I get out and go in. About 2 or 3 min of standing there a lady turns and says "Sorry, waiting on fries" and then turns back around. Fries? Why am I waiting on fries? She keeps her back to me for the next 5 min while I wait. After another 5 min I finally receive my food. No offer to comp it, no offer of a drink while I waited, not even an offer to throw in a pie! DO NOT EAT HERE especially the drive through. The rudest employees i have ever seen. The worker was being short with me while i was ordering, and on top of that, all three of the orders we placed were not made as requested and we also did not receive the sauce we asked for. I eat out entirely to often and have grown accustomed to "getting what they want to give me" instead of the food I order and pay on average of 7 bucks in the mornings and about 12 or more for lunch or supper for me and my son. I get so frustrated with the amount of effort that not just this location but ANY fast food restaurant puts in to make sure that the order is accurate before they shove it out the window and hurry you away so they can give someone else your order. Prices have risen to the point that you can almost go out to a decent restaurant and for just a few dollars more we can get a lot better meal for the money. It doesn't seem to bother you that 6 of 10 drive thru patrons orders are wrong by one mean or another. By the time I get home to discover that I have paid for an order that I didn't make but received. I make the call to inform that they have once again gave me food I didn't order and every time time they offer to give me the food that I ordered if I want to come back. I hear the same song and dance from all of the management "I am sorry sir, we are training new hires" or anything other than "I am sorry sir that the home office has us on a timer of 1.5 minutes per customer and if I don't get you moved from the line it will affect my bonus, and rather than that happening I would rather give you another order another day to make up for it". Yes I am going on a bit long on this to sound off for the masses. We would very much like to receive the food that we pay for. We can't be wrong by saying that if you would just look at the screen that has our orders on it as you bag it, instead of cramming what ever your hand lands on in the bag before you shove it out of the window as you tell us to have a great day/night we would be grateful. read more
