Decided to dine in for breakfast since I had time. Staff wasn't attentive. Coffee was dreadful and undrinkable. It was AWFUL!! The steak biscuit was just ok. Nothing special. The dining area was decent but some tables were not clean. The tv was a nice touch and I enjoyed watching it while I was here. I likely won't dine in again. read more

Do no go to Jacks on Chalkville Mtn Road and expect to eat in they will ignore you to fill the drive thru. We waiting on a thursday night place was empty and nobody acknowledged us so we left and went else where who wanted to business. If you are going thru the drive thru line you will be fine but going inside to eat forget it. read more

I just don't get it, why is this location is so sucky? I know there's not much choice in this neighborhood of Grayson Valley but that's no excuse for the service I recently just received. First off, I missing two items from my order plus it was not piping hot for fried chicken. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and cold. Green beans were not seasoned. Waste of money truly. Tried to recertified the situation with them but apparently they're customer service is not just there. I can't see myself coming here in the future. I know it's fast food and I don't make anyone's job harder but if the wrong person had gotten this meal, that may be a breaking point and cause a ruckus... I hope they improve somehow. read more

Horrible Service. Unseasoned Food. I didn't get what I asked for. They don't take their jobs seriously. All they do is laugh. Ridiculous foolsihness. I haven't ate all day and they just laughed about getting my order wrong. Then they just assumed I was done with my order and gave me the price. She got irritated because we said we weren't done with our order. Instead of doing they freakin jobs as they applied, they let their personal lives get in the way of the way service is supposed to be presented. Like this Jacks a lot. Been here many times, best customer service, better then the one on Gadsden Hwy. always luv their burgers, normally get #1 combo burger with fries & coke. Came here twice, got the #2 breakfast combo breakfast sandwich, very good. Will come back. read more

I'm super irritated that on your complaint form online I am limited to 1200 characters so I am sending my feedback via yelp as well... I came to the Jacks tonight to order for my large family of 6. I requested a #1, #2, a big jack plain, 2 tenders meals, and a BLT salad. The person at the mic said they were out of tenders as it was so close to closing, about 935 pm, completely understandable. I didn't get off work till 9, so I wasn't complaining. I ended up replacing the 2 tenders meals with a kids cheeseburger meal and the 2 cheeseburger meal. When I arrived at the window is when the drama ensued, first the young lady at the window came to bring me my food, not knowing we hadn't paid. I advised her we hadn't paid and she proceeded to tell another worker inside you could have told me they hadn't paid and told that worker to shut up she she was responding... then as they hand me the order, I asked for the receipt and see they charged me for the 4 of tender combo that they said they didn't have. I asked about the salad as it wasn't on the ticket and she said she didn't get it. One girl at the window said well it was a big ass order...what unprofessional language to use at the drive thru. They proceeded to tell me they couldn't refund just the tender meal. They needed to refund the entire order and then re ring it... or they could give me the blt salad since it's $7 and some change, similar to the price already charged. I advised the young lady per the board I saw a BLT salad for $5.99. She said I was incorrect and I told her don't worry, I'll take the refund and they can rering the order. Is Jacks staff not equipped to handle a BIG ASS order as it was called? Does Jacks not train their employees to maintain a certain level of professionalism while speaking with customers? I don't care what goes on behind the window but in my face you could act presentable. It's not my fault if staff can't handle the workload. The person at the mic should read the order back to confirm they have everything instead of just saying pull around. The food wasn't bad, except the fries had no seasoning... I'm very disappointed in the roughly $40 I spent and I hope Jacks does something to improve their customer service and make the experience right. read more

This location is super, super slow. Yesterday, 12/12/2020 around 3:15, I had two orders (kids' chicken tender meal, and big jack combo) and stayed in the drive-thru for ten minutes. When I got my food, it was so cold, like put in the microwave cold. I figured the food would be piping hot since I was in line for so long. NOPE. Plus, while sitting in line, three cars had driven off. I called them when I got home, and the manager said I could come back and have my order remade. I went back again today and had the same problem. I went inside this time and waited another 15 minutes. It was a line around the building and people inside waiting to order and waiting for their orders. It was soo much food under the hot light, and it didn't look fresh. The crew was just walking around, looking lost, like they didn't know what they were doing. I didn't see a manager in sight. They never greet you or tell you have a nice day; they just walk off (this is every time). The only reason why I give them two stars is because I like their breakfast and the other food is pretty decent. read more

Sat in line for well over 20 minutes. Finally got to the window and there was no syrup in the sprite. Gave us a milkshake with a giant hole in the bottom and their solution was to put another cup under it. Employees are just standing around. The manager is just chilling in his office. They didn't start making our food until after our milkshakes were made (after 10+ minutes). We used to be able to pop in and out. It was convenient for my family and it right around our house. I 100% do not recommend this Jack's anymore. Sad :(! read more

I am so tired of going to fast food restaurants that don't have the food they advertise, can't get the order right, partially cooks the food and overcharges for the food. I'm tired of hearing people say they are understaffed because of Covid and using that as an excuse for the employees that are working not doing their job. If you are understaffed, hire someone else. There are plenty of people who want to work. I, for one, will not eat at Jack's any longer since every order is always wrong and they want to blame Covid for the errors instead of their employees improperly doing the job they were hired to do. It is not ok to sell semi cooked greasyFrench fries that are still frozen in the middle, chicken pieces smaller than their competitor's nuggets, mashed potatoes/gravy without the gravy, cheeseburgers without the cheese, congealed salty gravy, stale bread or burnt chicken.......and a manager that complain to customers that she can't do 50 things at once. I love Jacks. I grew up eating it at the original location in Homewood. The one on highway 11 in Trussville is great too. This on the other hand was horrible. The chicken had too much pepper in the batter, the chicken wad cold, the fries were mushy, and the biscuit was flat and hard. This jacks is right by me, so I go there pretty often. It's always fast and the food is fresh. They actually put the seasoned salt on the fries unlike some other locations. The chicken is always good when I order it, and my husband loves their burgers. Out of the many, many times I've been here I have only had bad, cold food one time, and the manager fixed our order and gave us fresh fries. The staff is friendly, too, and they offer good, comparable replacements if they do happen to be out of your preferred fried chicken pieces.They are the only place around to get blue bell ice cream and milkshakes. Last summer, I dropped my scoop as I was walking to my table. The lady at the register gave me another scoop for free, which I thought was awesome. I highly recommend this jacks! read more

please check your order thoroughly before driving off because they can't seem to get an order correct. then they want you to drive back from wherever for a replacement item, not a replacement order!!! they caused the inconvenience and took money for items which they did not provide, that is stealing!!! read more
