It's a 5 because it's what a bar and grill should be. Or used to be back in the day. Meaning before 1990. Popcorn machine with various seasonings to choose. Pool table. Good size table and booth area. Plus huge bar with comfy seats and angled elbow rests. Now.. they have various good size TVs on the wall and what is fun is basically 13-19" TVs above the bar. But this is a place you go to hang out and talk with friends not be glued to a TV. Ok the food. Tried the wings since on Wednesday they are 75 cents. Which is a DEAL!! They also have $2 domestic cans. I mean.. that's crazy! And appreciated in this day and age. (Oh and all drafts come in frosted 12oz mugs.) The wings.. tried garlic parm. Little heavy on the parm. Could use a little more butter/garlic. But solid!! Then tried the medium buffalo. This is what Buffalo should be! Buttery, salty, hint of vinegar.. just a solid sauce!! Oh and home made ranch. Was good as well. This is one of my new favorite old school tavern.
