Good pub food, a few good beers. All in all a good place to have lunch. Service was great, the ambiance is nice.

We came here on a Tuesday early afternoon and didnt have any issues finding parking. We came in through a side entrance and that was a little confusing but we figured it out. A decent amount of seating inside and it looks like there's a 2nd level seating as well. Unknown if there's any outdoor seating. We ordered a flight of beer. They were out of the Blackberry Wheat so we ordered the Foggy Doo, Donkey Lime Pie Sour, Mules Milk Stout & Dumbass. I really liked the Mules Milk Stout as it wasn't overwhelming. Definitely get the caramel. The Dumbass was a little milder and definitely a smooth, easy to drink Porter. The Sour had a good lime flavor. We also ordered the Yummy Baby Cabbage with a balsamic glaze. Well cooked and pretty good. Friendly and attentive service and would recommend. read more

We were so hungry after our 3.5 drive, that we didn't take any pictures of our food! But we very much enjoyed our meals - wings, mac and cheese, a burger, and Cobb salad. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Our server was very friendly and informative about all of the specials. There's plenty of tables and bar seats and the ambiance is very clean and cozy. The beer is AWESOME! And the best part is that you can have any beer and any amount of beer canned to take home. We got 4 different drafts - two IPAs and two sours that were very well balanced! My husband and I went here on a Sunday night before a concert at the community arts center. It took over an hour to get food and it came out cold. We complained to the manager and were given lame excuses and a voucher for a dessert. We decided to give it another try several months later. Again on a Sunday night before a concert. My companion and I visited Jackass' Williamsport PA location on a whim while in town running errands. We were duly impressed by this addition to Williamsport's healthy beer scene. The brewery is a nicely rehabbed industrial space with lots of exposed brick and other details that make this a well-designed and welcoming space. Despite the industrial vibe the noise level was not overwhelming. The brewery leans into their puckish "jackass" theme with cleverly named beers and menu items. As a first-timer I tried a flight of beers with a couple of IPAs, a Pilsner, and a porter. All were solid selections (definitely liked the Wilpo 1 IPA) and a range of styles. For food, we ordered the "Just the Fries" appetizer (included in my photos) which was a big honking' bowl of well-prepared fries with salt and white pepper. We also ordered queso dipping sauce, which was tasty but mild--little of the queso zip we anticipated. The rest of the menu looked decent with many of the usual American pub favorites which we'll explore on a future visit. We sat at the bar and our bartender (Destiny) was friendly and efficient. Topic switch: the bathrooms were modern and IMMACULATE. Jackass is a great stop if you're in Williamsport and (if you're a beer fan) walking distance from a couple of local brewpubs which I also recommend and have reviewed on Yelp. read more

Seated right away. Waitress was great, super friendly. I ordered the blackberry wheat beer, it was okay. Reminded me a lot of fatheads bumbleberry. I ordered their macho taco (2), truthfully I didn't really pay attention to what all came on it. The fried banana peppers were interesting. The tacos weren't bad, the meat was pretty good. I did have a few bites of my brother's mac n cheese. The mac n cheese wasn't really cheesy, it was kinda runny and greasy. There wasn't any flavor. read more

The wings are good. The burger is better than bullfrog. I ordered their 11% stout which for the high abv was missing the mouthfeel. It was a little thin in the mouth for such a strong beer. My best friend recently booked a reservation here for her graduation party. The food took over 2 hours to come out, and when it did, OUR FOOD WAS COLD. The restaurant was busy the first hour we were there, but after that, it was dead, so there was no excuse why the food took that long. Even worse, my friend's steak in her salad was as solid as a rock. We tried to slice it open and let me tell you, not even Thanos himself could have the strength to cut it. I've given this place several chances now and unfortunately each visit has been disappointing. Multiple times they've been out of several beers, which is frustrating for a brewery. When beer was unavailable, the cocktails leaned heavily on simple syrup and were overly sweet. The strangest part of the experience was having the bar manager seated next to us openly complaining about how much he dislikes the place while we were eating, then loudly banging a jar of pickles on the bar. It was disruptive and uncomfortable. I wanted to like this spot, but after four visits with similar issues, it's hard to recommend. read more

Food and service was on point! We arrived around 7:00 pm and chose to sit at the bar. Destiny and Sam were our servers and did an amazing job. We skipped right past the appetizers and dug straight into the entree's. The Mac-n-cheese with jerk chicken was delicious. The dry rub chicken wings with mild sauce was one of the best I've had. The Old Man Winter cocktail was a delight and there were several beers to choose from. Both of us finished the night off with a local rye whisky, Big Springs Spirits. If we're ever back in this neck of the woods, we will be back! Definitely recommended 15/10! read more

First off my server was amazing! She was very polite and had a great personality (amaris) great job. Food was ok. $6 nachos (not much to the pico) and dinner items same. Two had burgers (very salty) and one had the fish tacos (he liked), I had the waffle chicken bites. (Ok as well). Not a fan of frozen bag fry's that are over cooked, suggestion for the new establishment: if you're bringing new flavor to the city, bring it all the way. An Okay Experience Let me just start off by saying I am very biased and so I am probably being overly harsh. Food: The food is... ok. You will find something you can eat. You won't get food poisoning. But tbh I'm a bit underwhelmed. From just looking at the menu online, I was so excited by several options. But then when they were delivered, they kind of fell flat. For example, the pork belly mac and cheese? Sounds amazing! And the bowl they bring out is huge! But then the actual pork belly on it is so scarce. It's just a giant bowl of noodles. And the pork belly itself is ok, but this is part of my bias because in the area I normally live in, the pork belly is usually out of this world. So this just paled in comparison. Same deal with the jerk chicken; it was kind of dry and under-seasoned at Jackass. But where I live I'm used to jerk chicken knocking your socks off, to the point of sometimes having to take a day off of work for the fiery repercussions lol. So maybe this is perfectly tuned to the locals that want some bang but don't have an iron stomach. Not a single person complained about the cocktails though, so they clearly shine where they focus: the booze! Environment: You get what you expect for a brewery. It's loud in there. When a live band started playing the floors literally shook. Just keep that in mind if you are going out to party vs. catching up with old friends and family. The facility and bathrooms are very clean and well maintained so bonus points here. Service: This is another biassed category because I went during the holiday rush and the staff and kitchen were clearly overwhelmed. The personnel were great and friendly and tried their best, but orders and drinks were completely mixed up and took forever to come out (and in some random order). Luckily, we were all family in our group so we worked it out amongst us without issue, but I'd feel bad for any work socials. Oh, serious tip for Jackass process: When coming out with food for guests to identify their dish, don't yell out the stupid cutesy names on the menu! No one has any clue what their order was called. Just say [meat name] [generic dish type]. I get it, you're clever, but I felt bad for the server yelling out "Mother of All Cluckers!" and all the customers trying to discuss in a committee as to whom that might belong to. Overall it's worth checking out if you're local, at off-peak time, and looking for something new. If it was 5 minutes down the road I'd go all the time, but I probably wouldn't make the trip if it was over 20+ mins away. (And in my case this is moot because I'm in another state entirely =) read more

The fries and the chips were extremely stale. Our server was passive aggressive when our order was made wrong. The restaurant was inside.

I ordered their steak salad, they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked which I assumed they knew best. We had to ask for silverware after 5 minutes after the food came out. The steak was like leather and extremely salty. I had my wife try a piece and she said it was like beef jerky. I tried a second piece and it was worse. The waitress apologized and asked if I wanted something instead so I got their chicken pasta special, figured if it's their special they must know what they are doing. Wrong. The plate came with angel hair pasta with a lemon squeezed over it, the chicken was a breaded cutlet with no sauce. Had the pasta had a sauce I would have eaten it that way, but it just wasn't good, like they have never tried what they are serving. The chicken was overcooked and bland, two bites was all I could take so I gave up. I travel for work and have had bad meals and great meals all over the country, this was a bad one for sure. The only good thing was they didn't charge me for any of it, I didn't want to take any of it home either so that was fair. We have eaten here before and it wasn't bad, not great, but not awful. We have eaten at their Lewisburg location multiple times and it was always good. Oh yeah, I had a bet that I couldn't drink either, it rated like I was drinking Pine tree sap. Second beer was better of a different type. It's too bad because there are not a lot of good places to eat in Williamsport, we were hoping this would be one, it is not. Came in to check out Williamsports newest attraction on Saturday. the draft list they had was extensive, something for everyone. Destinee, our server, had some really great suggestions and was knowledgeable about the drinks and the food. We got the Check it out and the mule as well as the brinner burger and spicy chicken sandwich, both were a hit in our book. We were seated upstairs which was nice but the bathrooms were oddly chilly.
