Chicken primavera was outstanding. Atmosphere was friendly, not elegant but everyone there seemed to be enjoying the food.

Met a friend here for drinks and dinner. Sat outside on their large patio with socially distanced…read morereal table and chairs - not plastic. Service was spot on - checking in often but not too much. Wine was good and the food was better. I had a BLT sandwich with fresh cut fries. The sandwich was huge. Maybe a little too much lettuce, but the tomatoes were deliciously perfect as was the bacon. The fresh cut fries were a little soft but still good. My friend ordered a pizza which looked delicious! I regret not getting pictures of the food. So here it is the morning after our meal and I'm still thinking about it and wondering when I can get back to try something else. I can't comment on the inside of the restaurant, as I didn't go inside but they are remodeling the outside very nicely with wood siding and stone veneer - very cabin like.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! Took a friend to dinner for his birthday…read more Saw the decent reviews and had expected a good meal. Unfortunately the reviews are misleading. The food was universally terrible. The broiled haddock was tasteless and over cooked. The chicken parm had an off flavor, was tough and was grilled with no breading. I asked for the manager who came over from the bar where he had been drinking. He explained that they grill the chicken parm. Huh? Even though it says "breaded" on the menu. I told him it wasn't good. He told me I was wrong. LOL Oh OK. I can see why it was mostly empty tables in this place. I'm sure these positive reviews are staff and friends. Do yourself a favor and skip this place

Back in my delivery days, I was always impressed with the freshness and variety of ingredients,…read moretoppings & dressings. The service also was always super-friendly and speedy. Today was the first time I finally got to try their salad myself: got my "Own It" bowl for lunch, and it was just about as good as I'd expected. Everything was fresh (no slimy lettuce or brown avocado or other icky stuff), the portion is *ginormous*, i.e. could easily feed two adults for lunch, and the dressing tasty. My only criticisms would be that the 'roasted corn' was decidedly not - just your regular ole corn, and the kale needs to be treated to a spa day or at least a massage. It was like chewing lawn trimmings. However, those are two minor issues that won't prevent me from getting another salad in the future (minus the lawn trimmings, perhaps), as there are several other combos & dressings waiting to be tasted. Definitely recommended if ya like yer salad ;-)

I typically opt for the "Backyard BBQ" chicken salad and it's delicous. They have several other pre determined options or you can build your own. They also allow substitutions of their ingredients. I've never tried the grain bowls here as I believe that's a fairly new addition to their menu. The restaurant is small with some outside seating but ambiance is limited -- more of an eat and go kind of spot. Pricing is comparable to Mezeh, Roots, Playa bowls and other similar "healthy" options. Most menu items range from $12-14/each.

Grabbed lunch here on a recent visit to my parents and really enjoyed my grain bowl…read more Red Leaf offers dozens of predesigned salads and grain bowls, but there's also the option to customize your salad or bowl using an extensive list of ingredients. We ordered online, which is a smooth process with plenty of opportunity to personalize your order even when choosing a predesigned option from the menu. The only annoying thing about the online ordering was that it forced me to select a green to replace some of my grain with in my grain bowl --- they either need to make the question optional or add the option to say no. BF and I both wound up ordering the Green Machine, which features a bunch of green vegetables (kale, avocado, broccoli, celery, cucumber, peas) and shrimp --- this tasted fresh and delicious. The suggested parmesan peppercorn dressing paired perfectly and I devoured every bite of the very sizable salad. My mom got the southwest salad with sweet and spicy chicken, which is her go-to order from Red Leaf. She usually gets her dressing on the side and winds up transferring a portion of her salad into a bowl at home so she can save the leftovers without dealing with soggy lettuce. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of food and the large variety of options they offer. Service was a bit slow (they weren't ready with our order on arrival at the designated time) but friendly.
