Great restaurant.. try the brisket it's crazy good. I'm from the northeast so I didn't know barbecue could be this good!

The service was great, loved the side salad, burnt ends were very tender but not the best I've ever had so couldn't give a 5 star rating. Brisket was good, ribs were meaty as flavorful. The beans were delicious. Wished they provided a fresh bread (good rolls or mini wheat loaf would be nice). Overall there was a lot of food with enough to take home leftovers. The atmosphere was nice. read more

Probably my favorite Jackstacks. They are always consistent. Great waitstaff, great ambiance, and most importantly great Que.

I was thinking of places to eat and then this place pop up,have never eaten at any location, I'm cheap, but today is pay day, beside a formal employee that was bartender Stacie, started working here and I had to see her, lucky me, Stacie works certain nite and she was here, why I liked Stacie, she knows the menu and was very helpful too, they have craft beers and my favorite is limitless brewery, a must to have, 500 pm and this place is crowded, come early,I never had lamb ribs before and they taste great, a couple of tv, appetizers had mushrooms (took pix) big and delicious, I had platter- lamb, pulled pork, potato salad and cheese corn, that is meal and half, staff helps each other, empty glass or plate, without thinking it's off the table, why when u eat out you have to ask for water or a refill! Not here, working on my second glass of limitless, Did I say free WiFi, luv WiFi, parking got lucky front door, not know, people around me are enjoying their food, I talk to worker and every nite is busy, since they have open, no app but must sign up for birthday, I think another restaurant was here but didn't do well, but it just show u popular place can survive, now Stacie said carrot cake is the bomb and u need to take it home for breakfast, I trust her, so the main thing to remember, server Stacie- Thur to Sunday for great knowledge service ask for read more

Stayed at Hyatt Place next door. Was pleasantly surprised to find Jack Stack next door. My son and I went for dinner, had chicken wings and The Pitmaster platter. First off, sides were great. A lot of times I judge a BBQ restaurant by the quality of their sides. The cheesy corn bake and beans were awesome. As for the wings, lots of flavor, juicy. The very best part of the meal though were the burnt ends. These were amazing and a must have. Without a doubt among the best burnt ends I've ever had. When back in town, I will definitely come back! read more

Good food, good service. Carrot cake is the best. Plenty of food with your order. Usually have leftovers to take home.

Always a great meal. We have been to both locations. The service was great and the lobby was clean.

Jed waited on us at the bar. He was excellent,so considerate. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the place especially the bar !

We live 2 miles away and have eaten there a few times now. This time the beef burnt ends were fatty and the baby back ribs were tough and must have been from yesterday. The sausage was tasteless. But the fries were great. read more

Very busy! Good BBQ sauce. Had takeout and unable to get part of order. Food wasn't hot.

This locally owned chain of BBQ restaurants never fail. We dined at this location for the first time, I think it's the newest spot. Service was very good, and professional. We shared the Pit Master plate for two, a great way to get a variety of offerings. read more

One best place to get BBQ..I wished I would tried more of it when we was in kanas to see the chiefs for our 25yrs anniversary being married ...if I get a chance go back there .i will .. read more

Great dinner last night. Great food, service and ambiance. Very consistent. We never have had a bad experience.

Amazing! We were in town for a soccer showcase and they were able to accommodate our party if 40! The service was outstanding- Emily, Isabella and Deena took amazing care of us - drinks, appetizers and the meal came out in a timely manner - no water glass left unfilled - it was a fantastic evening and a wonderful meal. Thank you! read more

Food is amazing. Wait staff is amazing. Atmosphere is pleasant. This is our second time eating here. We have decided this is a tradition for our biannual visit to KC. The ribs melt off the bone. Even the sides are worth writing home about. read more

Went into Jack Stack earlier today and was greeted with such a nice and enthusiastic hello and they were quick to seat us and make small talk all to the table! Haley was our hostess and she was one of the nicest people I have ever met!! read more

We Enjoyed dinner. As always food was great as was service. We had burnt end platter and a large Turkey sandwich with backed beans. Cole slaw was great too. read more

The food was delicious. The service was terrible. We were originally greeted by one server, then another came and took our order and said he'd be taking over. What did this mean for our service? It meant that we had no service at all, no checking to see if our meals were OK, no drink refills, and after quite a wait we finally had to grab someone so we could pay and leave! read more

The food here is wonderful. I got there just before dinner time and I was lucky, the place was busy when I left. The poor server kept bringing me homemade lemonade, I couldn't get enough. My BBQ sandwich and sides were so delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Then the server asked if I wanted dessert and I declined because I drank so much lemonade. Then she mentioned carrot cake. Absolutely outrageous! Ate half there, took half to the hotel... with a to-go cup of lemonade! Praise Jesus! read more

I like 2 other Jack Stack locations better. I've been disappointed in my last couple of meals here. Plus, so Noisy.

Ordered the family roundup platter online for pick up. Quality meats, sides, sauce. Everything was delicious. Quantity, quality, price were all on par. Would purchase again. Quick and easy to build order online. read more

Love the food. Always fresh, nice portions and great side dishes. Nice atmosphere and nice assortment of drinks.

Great BBQ. Some of the best burnt ends I ever tasted. A wide variety of BBQ items, and a good portion of sides. They also have a good selection of BBQ sauces. read more

Food was amazing! Service was A class. Layout and design is classy. Recommend to anyone!

(Visited twice in mid-July was in town. I always have to visit Jack Stack when I am in KC! First time, was when I arrived, had a good dinner, and good service. Second visit was drinks only and friend and I opted to take ours to the patio. Only change for me was they no longer have a seperate gluten free menu (I have celiac), which usually makes ordering easier. read more

My family and I have been to many restaurants in our lives! We just finished at the Lenexa location and our waitress, Marie was AMAZING! She was on point with everything. Drinks, napkins, to-go boxes, everything! If I could give this a 10-star review I would! Even when Marie had 2 extremely large parties to deal with, she didn't forget about us! Thank you Marie! read more

Oh no. They microwave the meat before serving. Why? Probably not the Pit Master's idea. Maybe a corporate maneuver to save time or space. My burnt ends and brisket were a bit spongy/chewy as a result, and came pre-sauced. The sauce was pretty good (nice balance of sweet, tang, and spice), but the rub wasn't unique or exciting, more salty than anything. Call me old fashioned, but smoking premium beef for hours only to nuke it with radiation is blasphemy in my book. Otherwise good quality ingredients, friendly staff, and elevated upscale interior. read more

Hands down delicious!! I was Hesitant to try this because I am super picky about bbq. Burnt ends were great!! I ordered salad instead of fries, which was good. The ranch dressing is perfect. The coleslaw was really good as well. What was even better was the service. Max was our waiter and it was his first day. He was attentive and very kind. Definitely will come back. read more

The shrimp was the best, very flavorful. The baked potato almost amazing, might be too salty for some but I loved it. BBQ we had the pork and it was the worst part of the meal and was really dry and barely any sauce. They only have two kinds of BBQ sauce. 7/10 even though the BBQ was awful. Fries was average. read more

I was disappointed as this is near where we live now, and have always enjoyed Jack Stack. Went in for lunch. Service was good;place is nice, but the lunch menu is overpriced for what is served. Just average at best. read more

The best service!! The best food! Consistency is their success! Wonderful, food and wonderful service

Best barbecue around!!! Our family's favorite restaurant!!!! Jack Stack can't be beat when it comes to barbecue!!!

We order take out and Jack Stack makes it so easy to eat at home. Plates, plastic ware, sauce, pickles, etc.

Beautifully designed inside. Parking can be a little tricky on busy nights and the entrance can get a little packed but wouldn't stop me from coming here. Always great food! read more

Jack Stack is my favorite KC BBQ. I was surprised to pass this location on the way to my hotel and after talking to the waitress, found that this location opened less than a month ago. Could've fooled me! Everything was flawless. Everyone we encountered that worked there was genuinely friendly and kind. The food was mouthwatering per usually. This location is beautiful: outdoor patio with heaters and multiple full wall windows. Will definitely be back to this location! read more

Second time at this location. We live nearby. Can't pay $15.00 for a sandwich with stale bread and dry meat, greasy potatoes and raw onions. I might be ordering the wrong thing. read more

I've been to this location 5 times since it opened. Food is always consistently great - and the service takes it to another level. These guys know how to do it right. Love the smoked wings, ribs and brisket. They kept the bar from the original Ignite space - a really nice way to spend happy hour! read more

First time visitor from Iowa. Definitely will return whenever we're here. Amazing food and even better service. We were full from dinner but passed on the dessert but when our waitress gave us our bill she said we had go try the triple brownie desert and it was on the house. Even left a note on the carry out saying to enjoy your time in KC. Simply amazing service and experience. Highly recommend!! read more
