I ordered the chicken taquitos and Don had two Carnitas flour tacos. The chicken taquitos were good, but the Carnitas in the tacos were the best we've ever had. They were moist and delicious and had a slight crisp to them. The sauce was a bit spicy that they came with, which was fine for Don, but I'd have to have them leave it off for me. We will definitely return to have those Carnitas again.

What I liked about it was 1) it came with an egg which doesn't always happen. 2) the chips stayed crispy the entire time. 3) came with a side , for the hash browns and they were super yummy. The two things that I didn't like were more just my preference which were that I kinda like it with more sauce or cheese and I love them they have pickle red onion. This had a ton of chopped white onion...: more than I'm use to having, kinda took it over. Would like to try this place again but maybe for lunch or dinner .

(Not too many restaurants offer shredded chicken oddly enough, so I was happy they did. ) I could only eat 2 and my husband ate the 3rd one. Husband got the carnitas plate with beans & rice. Carnitas did have crispy edges and was tasty. Rice wasn't too fluffy but was fairly good. Beans were good. Drinks: I got the margarita martini and husband got the Paloma. Both were tasty. We would definitely come back.

And while prices are high everywhere, CA Burrito remains one of the less expensive places to eat overall, especially if you order one of their specials. Huge portions on many of their dishes, it's rare if we don't get a 2nd meal for later. Awesome chips and house made salsa while you wait. FRESH pineapple at the salsa bar! The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean, only lost a star on ambience for me because of the fast food feel of the fluorescent lit dining room. The longest we've waited at the drive thru window was about 10 mins, but this is because they were making our food fresh, like they always do.

I usually would get the quesadilla but the chicken tasted a bit strange last time so this time I switched it up this time around and got their 5 rolled tacos and a shrimp taco and 2 churros and if I could add in the picture they look like they are filled with something like raspberry? That's why I wanted to try a couple in the first place but these were just plain which is fine but unfortunately when I got home the taco was beef not shrimp and the rolled tacos were also beef so yeah they did mess up my order:( I will say the staff here are VERY very friendly!!! The menu and options are humongous so they understand when you need a minute to place an order most definitely! But I just think I will be switching up the options next time and double checking my order to make sure it's what I paid for because as I mentioned, it's not on the cheap side. Ambiance is nice! As this place is fairly new it actually used to be a Burger King (if I'm being fully transparent, I wish they would have kept that BK location here) but they completely remodeled it and turned it into this place so it is clean, bright, and lovely! Will I go back here? Perhaps, will I double check my orders all there 1,000% lol otherside! It's pretty good!

I will say it's not the worst but definitely not the best. Which is sad because it was definitely top 5 in my book 2 years ago. The time has not been kind to Flappy's quality.
