The onion rings were cooked to perfection crispy on the outside and hot and tender on the inside. Service: Outstanding! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Ambiance: It reminded me of an old-fashioned diner from the early '90s. It has a nostalgic, laid-back feel that adds to the overall experience. Not anything fancy but okay. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

We had a group of 10, and they quickly arranged tables to fit us all comfortably. Drinks were brought out right away, our orders were taken promptly, and the food came out fast--and everything was delicious. Even though not everyone ordered a traditional Easter meal, every dish was spot on. Our cups were never empty, and every need was met quickly without us ever having to ask. The entire team was great, but Matti especially stood out. She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. It's also in a super convenient location--right off I-5 and within walking distance of the KOA, which made it an easy choice for our group. And for all 10 of us, the total was only around $150--which is hard to beat. Great prices, delicious food, quick and friendly service, and a clean, welcoming environment. I would absolutely come back again!

We decided to go in for dinner last Saturday night about an hour before closing. It was a steady pace, not busy. I ordered a Steak Sandwich just because I always order a French Dip wherever we go and since it was a Saturday night, I went WILD ! It came quickly and looked delicious. The fries were hot and the grease they were fried in was recently changed. The roll was buttered and with crispy edges. The lettuce was crisp and the tomato and pickle very fresh. I was all set for a delicious steak sandwich and hot fries. I was so DISAPPOINTED . I could not chew through the piece of meat. By this time the restaurant was wrapping things up and customers headed to the door. I ate the fries and tomatoes and took the other half of the sandwich home so my husband would have a midnight snack. The other half can't possibly be as bad. WRONG ! It really was. The entire " steak" was inedible. $23 and all I could eat was the fries. I also asked for AuJus to dip my sandwich in and boy, even that wouldn't have helped. A vat of battery acid may not have done it either. Will we come back to M&M ? Absolutely! The waitress was wonderful and for the most part the food was too. I should have brought the steak to the attention of the staff but I didn't. I just wanted to go home. Any restaurant could have had the same issue. Although I do think the cook should have noticed the fat in the steak when putting the sandwich together. Great place with really good food and a honey clean environment in which to eat it.

I've see this Carlito's Mexican restaurant for awhile but never went. It seems kind more fancy than the usual burrito and taco joint. If I had a date, I'd come here, kinda place. I figured I'd just get a to go order of a burrito. Carlito's is located in the eastern side of town on Antelope Blvd. other wise known as Highway 36. It's set back in a shopping center across the street from Bud's Jolly Cone ice cream and burger joint. Lots of parking. I go in and place my order with the person up front. I just want a burrito to go (steak) and not have a plate with a bunch of sauce over it, cause I like to eat a burrito with my hands not having to use a fork and knife. I guess that's just me. They said they could do that and I waited not too long. I got the burrito, feeling the weight in my hands, and headed back to my house. I unwrap the foil and its all hot for sure. I have some salsa at home, so after biting off one of the ends, I pour some of the salsa on. YES, this was the taste I was looking for, a real Mexican flavor, not like that Americanized Burrito place at the north end of town. The burrito had all the fillings I like and I didn't even finish the whole thing. Save about half for later. Now I'd like to try the dine in at Carlito's.
