It took them 20 minutes to get me a large order of regular & curly fries so I assumed maybe cheap owner not enough employees. I got to the front of the drive-through. They had three lazy employees just standing. The young man that took our order was polite. But our order was incorrect and our fries tasted and felt like they had been there for an hour or more. Cold and hard. The bad reviews are probably because of the Hispanic lady at the drive thru. She was the rudest person I ever encountered at a drive thru! My husband orders a three piece French toast sticks and apple juice for our daughter and the drive thru lady puts 6 piece so of course my husband clarifies "It's only a three piece" and the lady says with a horrible tone of voice "I put the six piece because the three has no combo for drink that's why no three piece" so we just let it be. Go up to the drive thru and she asks us "u got hasbrowns?" We say "no we have the French toast sticks" then the lady says "no u never order that u skipped line to window u didn't order" super super nastily and my husband replies "no we ordered" and repeated our order AGAIN so she starts acting like all of a sudden she can't speak English so my husband starts talking to her in Spanish then she wants to roll her eyes and say "okay hold on I get it" then as we leave she says "hope u have a better day" like what? I hope YOU have a better day u rude ass! This ain't the job for u and yr poor customer service skills. Somebody fire her jeez. Food was GARBAGE too like it was on purpose bc how tf is it that bad???? Now that I know Jack In The Box is a source for a really cheap fast meal of tacos, I stop in a various locations just for the tacos. The rest of the food is not as good as the price would dictate. But the tacos, 2 for a little over a buck? Can't beat that, so I usually get 4 tacos but only eat 3. 4 is too many for me at one time. Would give it 0 stars if I could. We're driving from about 4-5 hrs away from here, this location was one of the few we could find open and we were ready for a quick bite and ready for bed. We have a big Penske truck and upon driving up to Jack we noticed we obviously weren't going to fit there. We could force it, try our luck but we weren't ready to deal with that. So we park, we walk up to the front door and try to get someone's attention to let them know we have a BIG ASS TRUCK & can't fit through the drive thru. Well I have the idea of calling the restaurant since we can't seem to get anyone's attention. Some guy answers (big, heavy set guy, I can confirm bc I saw him, I don't know his name so this is the only way I can describe him) he said "hello Berenice" In my mind I'm like okay weird but people have caller ID now a days, whatever. I begin to explain to him the situation and before I could even finish he says "what do you want me to do about it? The dining room is closed" before I could even respond another nicer gentleman opens the door and explains to me that the dining room was closed. Again, we explain the situation and he says he's sorry but can't do anything about it and needs to get a manager, okay cool. Another lady comes out and she explains to us that they are closed in the dining room area but if we still wanted to we could place an order online via their app and she would kindly bring it out to us. She was very nice and helpful, as well as the guy who opened the door. Not the rude big guy who obviously hates working there by the way he spoke and treated us. We go online and the app says the store isn't taking any orders at this time. UGH! We try DoorDash, same thing. After that we didn't want to try our luck with them because who knows, people are assholes and I'm not going back to give him an opportunity to mess with my food. I'll take my business elsewhere. Must have new managers as things have really picked up this last year. Their food is always made to order. We always order fast food with an odd request so it has to be made on ordering. I always get the Teriyaki Bowl with light or no vegetables and little sauce. It's always very hot, made to order and very tasteful. My husband always gets a burger, in a different order every time. He's had hamburgers all over the country and different parts of the world. He has never been disappointed. The fries are his favorite, skinny and hot with little salt. The inside is key as clean as possible considering the homeless like to come in out of the rain or heat. I was over charged on my order. I didn't realize it until I paid and looked at my receipt. I tried to explain to them about my over charge. The staff did not understand and told me I had to wait until the store manager was in to speak to me. I ended up calling the district manager and she gave me the cold shoulder and clearly didn't have time to figure out my transaction as she told me how busy she was and how she hasn't slept much. She ran the numbers on a calculator and it didn't make sense to her either. She said she would get back to me and two days lately I haven't received resolution for my transaction. I called the store manager a few days later and was trying to explain my situation to which she replied that I have already talked to the district manager and there's nothing she can do about it. Hope other customers don't have an issue with their order as the store manager is not capable of editing/voiding/refunding orders. "There is nothing (she) can do about it" we're here words. So sad, store managers should know how to handle these situations. She probably knows how but is lazy and doesn't want to deal with one customer when she has other customers to deal with. Also, the store manager hung up on me when I was telling her about my experience which was so rude and I cannot imagine treating a customer like that. It started out being over charged a few dollars and after speaking to the store and district manager it is a slap in the face and insulting how they think they can over charge someone and not refunding them back their money. read more

as much as fast is just fast food. I want to get my order right. i've not eaten at JITB for over a year now. Last time I was there, I got food for the family and when I got home 15 minutes later I looked in the bag and half the order was missing. Drove back into town, and asked the store manager to give us a whole new order so our family could eat together. otherwise my wife and kids would have eaten and I would have eaten solo. The store manager was a full out prick. He snatched the bag of food from my hands threw it in the back and said "gimme your card" I gave it to him and he refunded my money. He said "sorry, some people are just too picky so we refund their money instead of make a new order" I told him what he could do with himself and promptly walked out. In Red Bluff, treating a customer like that isn't a good way to stay in business. Arby's is what we had for dinner. I have always loved Jack in the Box and I was excited to take my boyfriend to try it for the first time. I've never been to this location but I had faith through the 30+ wait time that the food would be worth it. It honestly turned out to be one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had. All the food was soo sad looking, like it had been waiting hours for someone to come buy it. I couldn't finish eating anything after trying it just to see. My boy friend didn't even get any utensils for his bowl her ordered and had to use his hands.
