It's been like around 7 years since I was at this Jack in the Box location. I used to come here for the super cheap tacos, I think it was like 2 for a buck fifty or something like that. I just decided to come here and give it another try for one of these new chicken sandwiches they got. It called a "clucker" as in mother clucker, one of those clever Jack in the Box names! Normally I do burgers more than chicken sandwiches, but what the heck, I'll try something different. I go in and order at the counter. I'm gonna eat inside. The inside seems clean enough, I didn't do the white glove inspection or anything. I get the sandwich and go back to a table. You know, it's pretty much like most fast food chicken sandwiches. The price of $6.89 plus tax wasn't outrageous, but not a cheap bargain either like those tacos were. I think I'll pass on this in the future and do Wendy's instead. Oh, I got the name wrong ... it's just called the "cluck" not clucker .... just my state of mind! read more

This has got to be that the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to my life! If I managed to this place I would either lose my job or clean house and start all over. If this is what customer service has come to I will skip this place and you might want to do the same thing. read more

Slow service, not all items in bag. If your making us wait for our items at least get everything correct.

I don't know what to say..... I went to this Jack-in-the-Box by mistake because I was craving some fries. It took them 20 minutes to get me a large order of regular & curly fries so I assumed maybe cheap owner not enough employees. I got to the front of the drive-through. They had three lazy employees just standing. So if you have all the Time in the world, please do stop by they will give you attitude upon receiving your order and take forever because they get paid by the hour. read more

Jack in the Box - Proof I wasted 20 minutes - Fast Food Near Me - Red Bluff, California

The young man that took our order was polite. But our order was incorrect and our fries tasted and felt like they had been there for an hour or more. Cold and hard. The people cooking were unprofessional as a nice way to put it. It could be the managements issue. Since she was back there acting as if she was a kid. The inside was clean and stocked. There should be more professionalism with management, since they are the leaders in charge. And if your fries are cold and rock hard, make fresh ones. read more

The bad reviews are probably because of the Hispanic lady at the drive thru. She was the rudest person I ever encountered at a drive thru! My husband orders a three piece French toast sticks and apple juice for our daughter and the drive thru lady puts 6 piece so of course my husband clarifies "It's only a three piece" and the lady says with a horrible tone of voice "I put the six piece because the three has no combo for drink that's why no three piece" so we just let it be. Go up to the drive thru and she asks us "u got hasbrowns?" We say "no we have the French toast sticks" then the lady says "no u never order that u skipped line to window u didn't order" super super nastily and my husband replies "no we ordered" and repeated our order AGAIN so she starts acting like all of a sudden she can't speak English so my husband starts talking to her in Spanish then she wants to roll her eyes and say "okay hold on I get it" then as we leave she says "hope u have a better day" like what? I hope YOU have a better day u rude ass! This ain't the job for u and yr poor customer service skills. Somebody fire her jeez. Food was GARBAGE too like it was on purpose bc how tf is it that bad???? Update: to the stores reply below. I did reach out right after it happened to a corporate office and I received a call where I went into detail about my experience and I gave them your store number. I was told the manager of the location would call me, but that did not happen. And I've been reading your business reviews; you can tell you do not care about customer satisfaction or your employees' behaviors or there would be improvements. Seeing as this is the only JIB in this little town and there are NO options around here, you have no competition and don't want to improve your store. read more

The absolute worst experience. Went through the drive thru. Waited 15 minutes at the ordering spot. The lady told me she would be with me in a minute. After 15 minutes I asked if it would be much longer, she said yes and if I was in a hurry that I shouldn't go through the drive thru window. Rude, cold food, worst experience. read more

This is supposed to be fast food. We waited 35 minutes just to get someone to take our order in the speaker in the drive through line and another 15 minutes to get the food. And the window cashier had the audacity to be rude as well when we asked if they were understaffed. He had an attitude when he responded " we are just busy". Take your money elsewhere. read more

First let me say that the people who work there are really great but the food is awful!!! The burgers were cold and bland, plus I had asked for extra mayo and hardly got any on my burger. Ordered a chicken bacon ranch with cheese and got no bacon. I honestly didnt mind the wait time though.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. We're driving from about 4-5 hrs away from here, this location was one of the few we could find open and we were ready for a quick bite and ready for bed. We have a big Penske truck and upon driving up to Jack we noticed we obviously weren't going to fit there. We could force it, try our luck but we weren't ready to deal with that. So we park, we walk up to the front door and try to get someone's attention to let them know we have a BIG ASS TRUCK & can't fit through the drive thru. Well I have the idea of calling the restaurant since we can't seem to get anyone's attention. Some guy answers (big, heavy set guy, I can confirm bc I saw him, I don't know his name so this is the only way I can describe him) he said "hello Berenice" In my mind I'm like okay weird but people have caller ID now a days, whatever. I begin to explain to him the situation and before I could even finish he says "what do you want me to do about it? The dining room is closed" before I could even respond another nicer gentleman opens the door and explains to me that the dining room was closed. Again, we explain the situation and he says he's sorry but can't do anything about it and needs to get a manager, okay cool. Another lady comes out and she explains to us that they are closed in the dining room area but if we still wanted to we could place an order online via their app and she would kindly bring it out to us. She was very nice and helpful, as well as the guy who opened the door. Not the rude big guy who obviously hates working there by the way he spoke and treated us. We go online and the app says the store isn't taking any orders at this time. UGH! We try DoorDash, same thing. After that we didn't want to try our luck with them because who knows, people are assholes and I'm not going back to give him an opportunity to mess with my food. I'll take my business elsewhere. Dominos, thank you for saving the night. Cheesy bread definitely triumph the soggy ass burger I would have had. read more

Must have new managers as things have really picked up this last year. Their food is always made to order. We always order fast food with an odd request so it has to be made on ordering. I always get the Teriyaki Bowl with light or no vegetables and little sauce. It's always very hot, made to order and very tasteful. My husband always gets a burger, in a different order every time. He's had hamburgers all over the country and different parts of the world. He has never been disappointed. The fries are his favorite, skinny and hot with little salt. The inside is key as clean as possible considering the homeless like to come in out of the rain or heat. A few years ago there was a real problem with the homeless coming in to wash up in the bathroom. Taking all the ketchup packets to make " hot soup." Pretty sure that's been taken care of. This is one fast food place you just CAN'T be distwith read more

I can no longer give any excuse for this place. I will never eat here again. The food is nasty. The fry grease is old and the frys look and feel and tastes like they were scooped out of the trash. I was over charged on my order. I didn't realize it until I paid and looked at my receipt. I tried to explain to them about my over charge. The staff did not understand and told me I had to wait until the store manager was in to speak to me. I ended up calling the district manager and she gave me the cold shoulder and clearly didn't have time to figure out my transaction as she told me how busy she was and how she hasn't slept much. She ran the numbers on a calculator and it didn't make sense to her either. She said she would get back to me and two days lately I haven't received resolution for my transaction. I called the store manager a few days later and was trying to explain my situation to which she replied that I have already talked to the district manager and there's nothing she can do about it. Hope other customers don't have an issue with their order as the store manager is not capable of editing/voiding/refunding orders. "There is nothing (she) can do about it" we're here words. So sad, store managers should know how to handle these situations. She probably knows how but is lazy and doesn't want to deal with one customer when she has other customers to deal with. Also, the store manager hung up on me when I was telling her about my experience which was so rude and I cannot imagine treating a customer like that. It started out being over charged a few dollars and after speaking to the store and district manager it is a slap in the face and insulting how they think they can over charge someone and not refunding them back their money. read more

This place has always got my order correct , they are a bit slower than most jack in the box's I've been to but I think that's because they are making everything at the time of order and never have I felt that I've had something sit under a heat lamp it always seems as fresh as it can be . You know when you try to give a place a benefit of the doubt and they still mess up so much you realize you never want to go there again? That's this Jack in the Box... First off there's always a huge line, ok maybe this place is popular right? Wrong, the service is unprofessionally slow, like 30 min in the drive through slow. So let's give them some more leeway and think, "well maybe the customers ahead of me ordered a lot of food" Wrong again, as soon as I get to the window and pay, I wait for another 7 min. Now my order was not big at all, in fact, I could see it sitting on the counter the entire time I was waiting, as the drive up cashier wandered off to who knows where. So after finally getting my now cold food, I rush to work since my lunch was waisted waiting in the drive through. And low and behold, as a final punch in the gut. part of my order is wrong. I'm a patient man, I'll give the benefit of the doubt whenever possible. But even I can't tolerate this level of negligence. read more

as much as fast is just fast food. I want to get my order right. i've not eaten at JITB for over a year now. Last time I was there, I got food for the family and when I got home 15 minutes later I looked in the bag and half the order was missing. Drove back into town, and asked the store manager to give us a whole new order so our family could eat together. otherwise my wife and kids would have eaten and I would have eaten solo. The store manager was a full out prick. He snatched the bag of food from my hands threw it in the back and said "gimme your card" I gave it to him and he refunded my money. He said "sorry, some people are just too picky so we refund their money instead of make a new order" I told him what he could do with himself and promptly walked out. In Red Bluff, treating a customer like that isn't a good way to stay in business. Arby's is what we had for dinner. I called the corporate office and just got voicemail after voicemail and never got a return call. They suck balls and hope that they go out of business. read more

I have always loved Jack in the Box and I was excited to take my boyfriend to try it for the first time. I've never been to this location but I had faith through the 30+ wait time that the food would be worth it. It honestly turned out to be one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had. All the food was soo sad looking, like it had been waiting hours for someone to come buy it. I couldn't finish eating anything after trying it just to see.
