I often do DoorDash deliveries and find the staff here hard-working and friendly. My 15-year-old eats from here regularly several times a week and they do a great job. Highly recommended. After multiple visits, I was informed by other staff member and last week by Jack that the franchise owner has discontinued stocking strawberry and grape jam packets as a cost-cutting measure. Finding this out only after paying for my breakfast sandwich was frustrating, as it's a staple of the meal.A jam packet is a negligible expense--likely less than 10 cents--yet removing it significantly cheapens the customer experience. If the franchise is struggling to find margins in a packet of jelly, the issue is likely with inventory management or waste control, not the condiments themselves. Despite this, I returned yesterday Mothers Day at 2:20 PM after a long drive. I ordered two tacos, assuming they would be a safe bet. Even with a significant wait behind only three cars--plenty of time to ensure quality--the tacos I received were completely undercooked. The shells were white, soft, and had no crunch whatsoever. Between the lack of basic condiments and the poor food quality, I no longer feel like a valued customer. I hope you look into your inventory management and kitchen standards, as these "cutbacks" are clearly affecting the customer experience. read more

Visited 3/15/2025 Hi Guys. This isn't my usual kind of review but I was in the mood. Visited "Jack in the Box" in Ramona on my way home from shopping. I ordered Three Jumbo Egg Rolls. $5.99 And The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. $9.29 First the Egg Rolls were very well made and crispy on the outside with tender crispy veggies on the inside. They were much better than I get at most Chinese Restaurants. Very much worth trying. I'll be ordering these again. To go with the Jumbo Egg Rolls I ordered, The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. It's loaded with tender chicken and veggies on a pile of white rice and drizzled with a tasty teriyaki sauce. Not the biggest bowl I've had but it definitely hit the spot. For a burger joint it's a quick tasty option for those times you just want something a little different. I'll be grabbing this combo again soon. Worth a try. read more

I go to this jack in the box in Ramona 3 or 4 times a month. The staff is professional the blonde young lady with a rose tattoo on her left arm always go above and beyond. Her customer service skills are amazing thank you for all you do. I got the bacon ultimate cheeseburger this last time I was there . It was very good . I've come to the Jack in the Box in Ramona on multiple occasions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I've never had any issues. The food here is always good, and the staff are consistently friendly and efficient. The dining room isn't too big, but it's always kept clean, and I've always received my food quickly whether I'm dining in or using the drive-thru. The only time I've had to wait was once when I went through the drive-thru early in the morning. The lady kindly asked me to pull to the side and wait for my churros since they were just turning on the machine. That right there showed me that the food here is made fresh, which I really appreciate. I only waited about five extra minutes, and the churros were definitely worth it. Some of my go-to items are the Buttery Jack, Loaded Tiny Tacos, and the Munchie Meals--always fresh and delicious. Just a heads-up: the restroom has a code, and this location is not 24 hours--it's open daily until 3:30 a.m. Overall, based on what I've experienced, I don't think you'll have any issues here. I know this location closes from 3:30-4:30am everyday. I work nights in Poway and drive thru Ramona on my way home in Julian. I stopped by Thursday early morning at 3:20am only to be told by an employee that his crew already left and he couldn't help me until 4:30am, not that big of a deal unless your starving and nothing else was open. It's rare these days to hear a hello and thank you when placing a drive-thru order. The combination of Kim and Tiffany gave us a perfect order and a great viait. Bravo Jack in the Box of Ramona. As for their advertised BBQ Bacon double cheeseburger.. Well that's a differnt story. It's basically their small cheeseburger with a second beef party with bbq sauce and onion rings. Yesterday afternoon I went through the drive thru at 2:50 p.m. There was a car in front of me and no one behind me during my transaction. In other words it wasn't a rush time. I ordered the double cheesy jack combo with curly fries and a large Dr.Pepper. They service was fast however after I drove off I decided to have some in the car curly fries. I reach into the bag and pull out this pathetic attempt at a large curly fry. This wasn't even a small fry. The fact that they put it in the large container was a total slap in the face. I would have rather they given me a small fry container so I could at least think " they gave me the wrong size". I can live with a mistake but giving me a large half empty fry container says to me that they don't care. Before you ask there were no fries in the bottom of the bag and most of the fries I did get were cold and about an inch long. read more

This has definitely been one extremely disappointing late night visit to Jack in The Box. Brian, the young man running the drive thru is a disgrace to the well known food chain. Rude does not begin to cover this young man's attitude. Not only did he insist on taking back the food he sold us the first time around but laught in our faces. I pulled into Jack's drive thru after grocery shopping to grab a quick burger. This was yesterday, January 19, 2023. I was greeted by a girl standing at the drive thru entrance. I couldn't see the menu. She asked what I wanted so I just said a Jumbo Jack. She tapped it into her machine and stated the total would be $6. I don't remember how much the change on that was. I pulled up to the window and the server verified my order, then told me it would be $16 and whatever the change was. I asked if it was really $16 for a Jumbo Jack and she replied that was correct. I told her to cancel the order and left. Once I got home I check their online ordering system and Jumbo Jacks are almost $6. Basically, with tax, it would have been $6 and change. This leaves me wondering what kind of scam they are running. I have contacted corporate headquarters and left a complaint. they've started doing a really strange thing where they send out a guy with a mobile order screen. drove up to the drive-in the other day and confronted by this guy three cars back asking us what we wanted without ever seeing the menu. This was also at 9PM. kind of creepy to just have a random guy approach the car holding a tablet in the dark. I know they sometimes use that system at in-n-out, but in-n-out has like three things that you can order. With a place with such an extensive menu, it doesn't really work. I definitely would have gotten something different if i had been able to see the menu before ordering instead of pulling the basic options up on my phone. Corporate, never returned my call BECAUSE I filed a complaint with the county health inspector. What I learned. 1. NEVER eat at any Jack in the box. 2. So every time I come here at about 3:30am (because my staff and I work at a bar and this is the only place opened) we are told that their computers are always down during that time to update. Fine. Whe I get here at 4:25am just getting off shift, the shift leader comes out, says they don't open until 4:30am (5min away) but during that time everyone in the drive thru needs to park in the parking lot for the 5min until they "open again." When I ask why I can't stay in the drive thru for that 5min, she raised her voice at me, and threatened to refuse me service. I cannot verify this as a fact, the crews that work at this location often seem to have a tactic to avoid servicing the customers. Sometimes the drive thru is blocked off, and other times they tell you they can only take cash.
