It's too bad the Freestyle Coke machine stood dark and disconnected. The choices and flavors it offered were, in many cases, unique to that machine and Coca-Cola. Life has bled out of it, and it stands gray and silver, like a silent old man. Your guide to the bathroom knows the code; He will open the door for you. Once inside, you will see that the writing (printed signs) on the wall The tacos are culinary gems. They have been the same for at least the past 20 years. The automated counterperson is considerate of your financial welfare. It defaults to a small-sized beverage. Service is as fast as it can be. The counter staff are professional. They are the only other humans in the place. The lack of a functioning Coke Freestyle Machine was a big disappointment. The food is always delicious as usual.. Having an escort take me to the bathroom is distasteful. Not being trusted with the security code is an insult. Jack in the Box seems more like a prison than a Happy Place. read more

Ordered tonight on the mobile app. My complaint is mostly with the app but also a heads up to anyone who doesn't know. Here's what I sent their customer service after attempting to get a refund for missing items: You do not have my address in the drop down for delivery issues. Also, why would you publish that many addresses of folks who have ordered from you? That seems odd. You clearly do not wish to help your customers achieve refunds for missing items conveniently, so I don't even care about that. I've stopped here a handful of times over the last year ish and it has always been a positive experience. It has been reliable for me, I usually get nuggets and sometimes I add 2 Tacos - they're always piping hot and fresh!! Honesty, their tacos are the best ones I've had in comparison to other Jack in the Box locations. I dk what they're doing differently but I hope they keep it up lol! 01/23/25 ordered via mobile app, went to the counter gave female employee at the counter my name. She then proceeds to give absolutely NO ONE the name for my mobile order, no one else working front counter, & then she goes on break, & sits in the lobby to eat with what I assume is her family. The guy at the drive thru finally came over to give me my mobile order, 2 wraps a halfsies fries & a 3 piece jalepeno popper took almost 15 minutes to complete. Made an online order for the chicken sando and they ran out of the buns, we requested to put it on a normal bun so we wouldn't have to go through the headache of getting a refund through the app. The manager on duty told us he "was not gonna do all that" even though there wasn't any customers in the drive through or the lobby, and refused to even give us an item that was a lower price. Mold. There was mold on my bun. I ordered through the mobile app and I received mold on my bun. I wouldn't even had noticed if my mother hadn't checked her food. The rest of our family ate not knowing this. This place just needs to clean out everything they have, it's a safety hazard and a concern. *Update: District Manager got in contact with me as well as manager of the store and were helpful and apologized on what happened. I went through there drive thru at 4:30am. Lady told me that they were closed due to the system being shut down. I then asked her if there was another jack in the box near by I can go to and she told me that all the Jack in the boxes were closed at this time. Went last week just moved to the area so went to observe our new surroundings a bit. It was Myself, my daughter & my boyfriend. We ordered food I specifically asked the young lady who took our order if there was onions on my sandwich, she had said no, by onions I obviously meant ANY KIND of onions. When I got my order back there was, in fact, fried onions.. I told her and she gave me a bit of an attitude and said "oh well yeah fried onions".. I'm sure many of you are thinking 5 stars, she has lost her mind! However, I have to admit my favorite 'pick me up' food is a Jumbo jack with cheese with curly fries and an oreo shake. i went this past Sunday, and I on this particular day I opted for an iced coffee instead of the shake, and the food was served fast and fresh with friendly service. Nothing exceptional, but it satisfied me. So why the 5 stars? This is particular location is in a 'sketchy' area, (19th Ave/Bell) and I have to say the manager was dealing with some very 'ghetto' patrons, they said everthing on their order was wrong; they asked for extra cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and the manager had to put more in the bag. The customers made comments about how they always get it wrong. Let's face it, Fast Food restaurants charge for everything - these folks were clearly giving the manager a hard time and trying to get stuff for free and the manager served them what they needed with a smile. I had to wait while a little bit while she took care of them, but I give this gal a lot of respect for serving me with same smile and professionalism. I've been going to this jack in the box for over 3 years since I've lived in this area. The past 6 months have been the worst service ever received. I get off work late so I usually go after my shift. When you pull up to the box no one greets you. I have at one point sat there for 3 minutes and then continued to say hello? And then someone will say " one minute" or "just a sec" I have worked in a couple of fast food restaurants and you are obviously supposed to greet someone when the first arrive and then let them know professionally that they may need to wait a second. Then there was a couple incidents where they said they were taking cash only and I would leave but one time I decided to drive in a circle and go back through the drive through and he didn't say anything about it and I used debit. Most recently they said their systems are down and I left. But a couple nights later it was the same thing they had even put a paper on the box saying "systems down". So I had drove up to the window and I saw a young man in there and I tapped on the window to ask nicely if they were closed for certain hours or something bc I realized this was happening quite often and he was extremely rude and when I told him there was no reason to act like that he began cussing at me saying he didn't give a f*** and to get the f*** out of his drive through. He also began to say instead of his systems are down that he needed to clean or get things done. I genuinely don't feel comfortable going through the drive through anymore especially after that altercation. I've tried multiple times to call the store and try to speak to a manager and no one EVER answers the phone. This is a last resort and I hate to be the one to complain considering I've worked in food and I understand the industry but it's obviously gotten out of hand and there's no sort of system or good management going on there. They young man isn't the only one responsible most of the workers I've delt with have just been extremely rude and have no customer service skills.
