I was amazed at the amazing service that was provided for not just me but several customers. Generally we don't expect much from the fast food service but this was the opposite. The staff was attentive to customers and communicated well with each other. The team leader Carmen had her staff on top of every order. I watched as they awaited a customer to order and as soon as it hit the screen they got to work. Not to mention they had every thing fresh. I did ask the TL the names of her staff. The staff on this shift consisted of Julian. Sergio and Luis. We were chatting a little and mentioned I came from the Bay Area. On my way out the door I was wished a safe drive. Doesn't even deserve a star to be fully honest. First of all, was rudely greeted by the employee taking my order in the drive thru, when I was trying to place my order she kept talking over me to where I had to repeat my order at least 4 times. I felt it was disrespectful and made my visit not very pleasant because of it. After that incident I proceeded to pay for my food and was rudely told my total and window was shut immediately, there was not source of communication from any of the employees working the night shift. When I received my food, and went to eat it at home, mind you I ordered a bonus jack combo, tacos and sourdough jack. I received the burger that has to be two days old or more at least old, when I opened the packaging the buns were smashed and looked like they have been sat in, the burger itself if grey color and gives off horrible smell. I will not be visiting this location due to this not being the only incident I have had with this location. Ordered a regular meal... as soon as I drive up to the window the soda gets handed to me with a loose lid... as soon as I get it it spills all over my cup holder area... I suggest to the girl in the drive thru to please make sure these lids get put on the cups correctly and very blatantly she just tells me "oh it's not my fault". The new Jack in the Box in Madera.. New, super clean with a modern style. There is plenty of parking at this location. If your in the drive thru there is a open view to the kitchen, so you can make sure the food you ordered is not mishandled. The customer service has been great here so far. The wait time for food has been good. This location is open late for dine in and drive thru. This side of Madera needed another option for food and now we have one. My favorites here- the jalapeno poppers, the chicken and egg brunchfast sandwich, the curly fries and the Oreo shakes. read more

Ok the past 2 times I've been here, probably a month apart, has been lousy. I mean, I don't expect great things from fast food, but they have gone way downhill recently. Both times I feel they have really skimped on things. A large popcorn chicken box has only maybe 12 pieces in it, my taco was really only a fried tortilla with cheese and lettuce(and not even a lot of that), and the large combo came with fries that were only halfway filled in the box. I got a spicy chicken sandwich meal last night and went to bed. Woke up hours later sick throwing up! I went to the nearest hospital (Saint Agnes) and they said I got severe food poisoning. I hate leaving bad reviews for places but this is the 2nd time I've had a bad experience here. I've shown up to pick up orders the first time half my order was out of stock and they couldn't issue refunds because it was done on the Jack app (not DoorDash) . This time I decided to pick up inside and the minute I walked in the lady was annoyed with my presence, I said I was picking up my order and she said they had no order, I tried showing her my order details and she pointed to her screen basically yelling "if it's not on my screen I can't make it! Jack In The Box... I like to go here because of their coffee. It's okay coffee but it definitely is good especially during the mornings. When I am craving some onion rings, I like to come here. Their onion rings are the right amount of onion and friedness. I would also recommend ordering their seasoned curly fries. You can never go wrong with curly fries. I have been told by friends and I have yet to try these out, but apparently, their burgers are good. Also, their customer service is really good.
