This has to be the WORST restaurant in Hermitage. "Darryl" the so-called evening manager is unprofessional, argumentative, and lies about not being able to give refunds. Let's begin. 1. It took 20+ minutes just to get to the mic. The PT Cruiser in front had to blow the horn twice just to get a response. 2. We waited literally 16 exact minutes after paying for ONE burger and fry. The cashier who took our order was very rude and immature. Also i have never seen a fast food restaurant lock their bathroom doors. I've never been to a jack in the box before I went to this one. The staff was one of the friendliest fast food staff I've ever encountered! I asked what was good since I have never been there and they gave me an idea of what comes on their meals and recommended the munchie box because it has a good variety of food in it to try. The food is very good and they cooked it in a timely manner. The restaurant was very clean. Overall this was an extremely good experience as I never usually do reviews but I felt I needed to say something about the amazing staff there. I absolutely love there supreme croissant I will eat Probly 3 day every other day sometimes everyday , literally was absolutely hooked on them and I still love them them. My main problem is that is literally the only thing that I can enjoy off the menus , I'm not sure exactly what it is but j just cannot eat any of there other stuff . Went here because I love Jack in the box in Jackson, MS. However, this one will give all the others a bad rep if you this is your first time visiting. First of all, the crew member taking orders rushed to take our order and got it totally wrong. Secondly, we corrected him on our order. Thirdly, we get to the window to pay for our order, the cashier proceeded to tell us we shorted him $20 on our order. I am for certain, we counted the money twice before paying. Lastly, we get our order, and we are missing a whole meal for my son with special needs. This totally sucked as they did give us his drink without food. I wanted to go in and give those guys a piece of my mind. However, given it took 15 minutes to order and another 10 to get our food, we had drove down to McDonald's to get my son's food. If I could give no stars, this place would certainly deserve it. I've never eaten here and never will, I only deliver their food to their customers. Most of the time, the food is not ready and you have to wait, even if there are no customers in sight. I've taken deliveries during lunch, only to find it closed in the middle of the day. I no longer will wait in their drive-through because it takes too long and uses too much gas. Their staff is so poorly trained, I can't believe they're still in business. They are slow and have been very rude on more than one occasion. They don't package their food like most other restaurants do--bagged and sealed-- so that it can arrive looking halfway decent to the customer. I wouldn't say they're *that* busy, but maybe they're understaffed or it simply takes longer than, say, McDonald's. I went there yesterday I am volunteering my emergency tarp service for the people affected by the tornadoes in Nashville I was called on a emergency call and when we were done me my pregnant wife which is do in another month and my 6 year old daughter with autism went to this location to get something to eat the lady told us when we walked in about how bad they were. But didn't mind it much. I brought my family to eat and workers and manager was cussing and frustrated. I told the manager that I was going to another location she then told me to go fuck my self and I said excuse me and she then repeatedly started cussing me and my family out. We started loading my family in the car when the workers 3 black females came out cussing me and my family out trying to start a fight. I tried my best to ignore them. The one employee got in her car and chased me and my family down the street and almost ran us off the road while recording it on her pink cell phone. Damaged our vehicle I was on the telephone with 911 and they suggested us to loose them and find a safe place to wait for the police. A investigation is going on with the police department and corporate. I can't believe what me and my family experienced trying to go to a jack in the box. My daughter was scared to death she has autism and can't explain to her what all was going on. They endangered not only my life but the life of my family. The manager was watching this whole thing happening. I came to help the community and risk my life for other people and their family and this is what I have to leave with. I am a caring person this will not stop me from helping people. I suggest that the owner contact me before my attorney does to handle this. I repeat owner please contact me before my attorney contacts you. I would like to settle this out of court but in the end the choice is up to you. This was my first taste of Jack in the Box, because I'm new to the area. Not a good first impression. I drove up to the drive-thru, immediately I was told to wait even though they weren't busy. Once I started to place my order of a #2 with just Swiss, meat, bacon and butter I was cut off and asked what drink. So I responded, and then repeated my order, to clarify. She responded with "yeah, next?" So I ordered the rest of my meal. After I got up to the window, I paid and received my drinks. I watched Charise roll her eyes while taking the next few orders. I got my food and pulled into the parking lot to check my order, and to no surprise my order was wrong. Just meat and Swiss. So I pulled through the line again to tell her my order was wrong and when I told her I got cut off while ordering, she did it again "just pull around" so I waited while the next three cars got their orders. I got to the window just for her to ask me what was wrong with my order. Had she listened to me in the drive through, I wouldn't have had to hold up the cars behind me getting their food. So I told her what was missing from my burger and she responded with "that's what I put in the computer" and eye-rolled her way back to the kitchen. But while she was gone I checked my receipt to see that she DIDN'T in fact order it that way (it said Swiss Only) she returns with my correct burger, and a free cheesecake for all my trouble. I showed her the receipt and that it wasn't the kitchens fault, and she simply said "oh I guess it was my fault, have a good night" and shut the window. Now let me just say that I wouldn't have gone through all of this had she just been more pleasant. If she had a better attitude, and better customer service skills and eye-rolling wasn't her second nature I would have just eaten the burger and dealt with the missing items. by reading the other reviews, I wish I could add something positive but ummmm sorry, we stopped in today for a quick lunch.. it took us over 35 minutes to get a egg muffin,, which was wrong and had to go back, a burger (bacon swiss) burned bun, burned patty, but whatever the sauce is they put on it was good.. the young man at the register was personable and apologized to everyone in order for the wait..
